The Prologue - “War of Armies: One World”

In 2024 a game called “War of Armies: One World” by “FrekGem” had came out. In the game, players raised armies in hopes of conquering the land around them. In this version of “War of Armies”, players started out with small armies, if they could even be called armies, of 10 random units and a set of unique abilities randomly given by the system. Though the randomness may make it seem like the game requires tons of luck, it did not (but you still need some luck), as all units and abilities had their own worth, the system made sure of it. With these sets of units and abilities, players started to grow their army by recruiting and gaining bigger, better and more unique units and abilities. With these armies, players conquered land, armies and especially other players.

Players also started the game with an avatar and a randomly given piece of land. The avatar could be considered to be a general that you will have throughout the whole game. Unlike other units that you would lose once they die, the avatar would come back to life, with some minor consequences. This is so that each player can continue playing the game even if they completely lost a battle and all their units die. Als unlike most units, generals are able to become stronger at a much faster rate.

At the start of the game, every player had equal footing, the divide between players became bigger as players started to conquer land and by the time the game became extremely popular, the divide was huge as all parts of the world was conquered, even the small islands in the ocean, by older players. That was why the corporation “FrekGem” had inputted a new system that gave a chance for new players to become big. The system was called the ‘Revolt’ system. This system made it so that units and abilities in game had to be used properly or else the ‘Revolt’ system may come in play. The ‘Revolt’ system allows units and abilities that were not properly used to be taken by other players in hopes of revolting and taking over the land.

Though conquering land was a huge part of the game, it wasn't the only way players had played. Many players had went and played the game differently and some of the biggest other playstyles where the merchant, vagabond, mercenary, production and chaotic play styles. Though most of these routes are self explanatory, let us explain it so that we don't have much confusion later on, though we probably will. In the merchant route, players would go around the world and sell things like units, abilities, information, land and anything that could be sold. In the vagabond routes, players would try to raise a group of extremely powerful group of elite units and get unique abilities in hopes of becoming the strongest. The mercenary route is similar to the vagabond as they try to get stronger but instead of doing this with the sole purpose of being the strongest, these players did it for the money by selling the strength as hired guns. The production route was similar to the merchant route but what they mainly do is instead of being the direct seller of items and units, these players help create items, train unites and build building.Though many times production players would also play the merchant route.

And then there was the chaotic players. These were players who were the annoyance of every single other player in the game because the only thing they wanted to do was create as much chaos as possible. At the beginning of the game, people didn't care about the chaotic players until the ”Kaizen Downfall” happened. The fall of Kaizen, one of the biggest conquerors of the time led to the shock of many players. All players had started being wary of the Chaotic players.

Now, by 2027, the whole game was officially finished having all of its campaigns done and with there being no further updates. People at the time wondered why there were no more updates until the game company “FrekGem” told the world that they will be releasing a new version of the game that would now be played in Virtual Reality, exciting player world wide. During a conference by “FrekGem” that the new game would be called “War of Armies: 9 Paths”, a version of the game that was more fantasy related and had become more open world and gives players much more options than the previous game.

The game was officially released on Christmas eve and the game servers were opened 2 days after the release of the game. With it came the excitement of hundreds of millions of players world wide.
