ARGGGGHH!!
Rheveus grimaced softly, his eyelids squeezed tightly shut as he slowly awoke from his deep slumber. Groggy and more than slightly disoriented, he didn't immediately move from his spot on his bed nor did he readily open eyes. The black haired youth was far more comfortable laying where he was, especially with the newly formed headache that had arisen after the dream had ended.
ARGGHH!! ARRGGHHH!
Clunk! Clunk! Clunk!
Letting out an irritated grunt, Rheveus grabbed one of his pillows and pulled it over his head, attempting to drown out the raucous screeches and thumping of glass that repeatedly violated his ears. In that moment, all he wanted was to fall back into a meaningless stupor, to head back into the world of dreams and forget reality. Maybe even finish the super bizarre fantasy his brain had somehow concocted. That being said, he could do neither one with all the racket that was now filling his bedroom, forcing him to fully wake up and deal with the situation, a task made even more arduous due to the agonizing throb happening inside of his skull.
Bright purple hues greeted the world as Rheveus sat up in his bed, pillow falling off his face and onto the carpeted floor. Taking a singular glance around the room, the boy instantly found the cause of his frustration.
"Aberto," Rheveus muttered with a wave of his hand, gesturing towards his room window. "Guess I can't be allowed to sleep in. Dang it Mavros."
The twin panes of glass burst open the moment the amethyst eyed youth gave the command, hitting the walls beside them with enough force to resemble a gunshot. Through the now open, yet completely shattered, window, a sizeable pure black raven flew through, it's enormous wings flapping wildly. Attached to it's leg was a thick white envelope with a bright red stamp visible in the middle of it.
Cawing loudly, the bird landed gently at the foot of Rheveus's bed, feathers ruffling as it got itself situated.
Clutching the sides of his head, Rheveus didn't immediately acknowledge his new arrival, his eyes closed in abject pain. The dull throbbing from when he first awoke hadn't dissipated in the slightest. Instead, it had gotten worse, sending waves of pain throughout his entire body as opposed to just his noggin. The four beast dream from earlier, of which he had remembered down to the smallest detail, was quickly melting away, disappearing from his memories. It was as if the pain was a raging fire and the dream was it's kindling, sustaining it while the fantasy gradually disintegrated into naught but ashes. This was further accentuated by the fact that the moment every remnant of the dream had been erased, the pain ebbed away until everything had returned to normal.
"What did I drink last night?" Rheveus muttered as he reopened his eyes. "Am I buggin?"
Despite being able to recall that the dream had happened, the young man wasn't able garner forth anything else. It was almost as if it had never existed in the first place.
ARGGHH!! ARGHH!!!
Flapping his lengthy wings once more, Mavros gave Rheveus a sharp peck on his thigh, easily piercing through the pajamas layers. The bird gave the boy a look of undisguised irritation, the leg holding the large letter held out and shaken repeatedly in Rheveus's direction.
It was impossible to mistake the gesture for anything else.
"Oh, sorry about that Mavs," Rheveus apologized. "Just give me a few seconds. I'll have that off of you in a jiffy."

Untying the enclosed piece of parchment, he relieved the midnight colored raven of it's burden, allowing the exasperated bird to freely flick its talons and fly off the bed. Hopping to the other side of the room, Mavros plopped down in one of the corners where a nest made up of torn rags and sticks had allocated. As soon as he got comfy into his little self made home, he closed his eyes and went right to sleep, not even bothering to get anything to eat or drink beforehand.
"Must have been quite the adventure," The adolescent muttered as he ripped open the envelope.
Inside was a slightly thick piece of parchment. The contents were written in a similar fashion to the very first letter he had received, the one that had noted his eligibility to enroll in a foreign school known as Hogwarts. This one was a bit different however as it was a reply to something Rheveus had sent a few weeks back, when the youth had first learned which school he would be learning magic at.
"REVAN!!! WHY ARE ALL THE DOORS AND WINDOWS OPEN!!!"
"Oh yeah. Forgot about that." Rheveus laughed softly to himself as he folded up the sheet of paper, slipping it into his pajama pocket. "Can't believe I spazzed out."
Making his bed real quick, the black haired youth hurriedly walked out of the room.

The smell of freshly cooked bacon, simmering scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes wafted through the air, mixing together as it filled up the house with its enticing aromas. Having been unable to smell it previously due to a number of charms placed on his room, something his mother placed in hopes of suppressing his magic, Rheveus inhaled each and every scent like it was his last day alive.
It was pretty unusual for such a large feast to be prepared within the Solazar household as, for the most part, Rheveus's parents, Lenorra and Jintuxax Solazar, preferred to keep things neat and simple, providing only what was necessary as opposed to going overboard on the portions. However, today was a special day. In about two weeks, their one and only son would be enrolled into the Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry and begin his long and no doubt arduous journey, getting a handle on the immense magical power that they themselves had had to put up with since the boys birth. To them, it was worth celebrating since, despite their best efforts, they were unable to stem the flow of magic leaking off the child in waves and hadn't been able to fully teach him how to properly manifest and manipulate it.
They themselves admitted to be lousy teachers.
Earlier, when Rheveus had reflexively uttered the spell meant for opening doors, he had thrown open every closed structure attached to the Solazar household, of which included windows, doors, cabinets, and even the refrigerator. The only reason it hadn't spread to a house or two over was due to the multiple charms that had been placed over the home the youth stayed in, precautions that had been put into play specifically for such an occasion. Of course, that being said, it was simple child's play compared to what the adolescent did when he was a mere infant and something insignificant compared to what Lenorra and Jinx had to put up with as they raised the boy.
Causing everything not attached to the house or charmed to float in the air, things to break apart then repair themselves, and random magic spells to happen every hour or so. All of which happened on a day to day basis.
However, soon it would no longer be their problem as he moved into the dorms provided by Hogwarts, living there as he was educated in magic and its fellow derivatives.
It wasnt like they didnt care for their son though as they loved him far more then Rheveus cared to mention, but from what the youth could tell, they were looking forward to not coming home to find the house in disarray. Even as he had grown, the black haired boy still had trouble not causing stuff to float or random spells to appear while he was passed out. Even if the couple were used to the circumstances, it was still stressful for them and he had no doubt they would finally be able to fully relax for the first time in years. The fear of coming home and finding their house destroyed or missing entirely would cease, allowing them to go about their day with much lighter shoulders.
With that in mind, Rheveus continued to enjoy the food that had been prepped while scanning the owl delivered letter for the umpteenth time.
It was basically a statement from the headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, that he had recieved the owl sent by his parents in response to the initial acceptance letter into Hogwarts. It wasn't much to look at but it DID include a list of the necessary materials he would need to buy such as books, a cauldron, the stated clothing, and a wand. It was this chart that he had been reading for over half an hour, to the point where the words were imprinted onto the forefront of his brain.
Smack!!
"Owie," Rheveus muttered as he rubbed the back of his head, his hues shifting from the paper and onto his father. "Why'd ya hit me? I didn't even do anything."
Jin shook his head as he wiggled the rolled up newspaper in his hand, holding it like one would when going against a swordsman. "You knocked open every door and cabinet from here to Alabama dummy. Whatcha mean you didn't do anything?"
"There's charms on the house," Rheveus reasoned, cutting up his pancakes into neat little pizza slices. "It didn't extend past the block. That's an unjustified smack. I want a lawyer. I call assault, battery, and harassment."
Jin scuffed, rolling his eyes, chewing on a hard boiled egg. "What say you, Judge Solazar? Have you reached a verdict?" His bright green eyes shot over to the woman at standing over the stove, cooking a fresh batch of bacon.
"Guilty," Lenorra responded immediately. "Without a shadow of a doubt."
ARGGHH!!!!!
Mavros flapped his wings, making his presence known as he flew down the steps leading up to Rheveus's room. It had only been around and hour since the bird had arrived back from it's flight but the young adolescent could tell it was already fully recovered. The black raven had no trouble swooping down and landing at Lenorra's feet, waiting for her to drop any sort of food onto the kitchen floor.
"See. Mavs agrees with us," Jin commented, pointing the newspaper at his purple eyed son. "Looks like ya lost."
Rheveus rolled his eyes. "He actually said hello. He was greeting everyone in a condescending fashion."
"His exact words?"
The youth smirked. "What's up peasants?"
