Malevolent Gods abducted billions from Earth and have sent them to the planet of Carrion, a game-like world where leveling-up is a means of survival. Tormented by beasts, dungeons, a curse given to him at spawn, and an Arena that grants champions an extra life, Karnyn is on a quest to slay each of the Gods—for their vanquished hearts are the keys to humanity’s shackles.
