The Scripture of Light: Authorized Version

Light and Darkness used to agree. There was no doubt that there was a healthy balance. During the daytime, there would always be shadows balancing the light. At night, the stars and the moon would brighten up the dark. Everything was peaceful as they agreed upon everything.

The light in people’s hearts would balance out the dark. The fed would balance out the starving. The rich made up for what the poor didn’t have. Generosity would always balance out the greedy. Donations gave back what thieves have stolen. They were always together to balance each other out.

752 years ago, in the small village of Aria, the villagers were the most balanced. The people would pray to Light and Darkness for blessings and when their prayers were met, they would praise Light and Darkness. Aria had the most loyal people of all. The villagers of Aria wanted to see the gods for themselves to be able to give them gifts. The gods agreed to come to that village and that village alone for they were the most loyal people. Light and Darkness were incorporeal immortal beings, so for mortal beings to understand them easily, Light and Darkness took human form.

Light was very beautiful with long wavy white hair and golden freckles that shimmered on her bright golden skin. She had a tall figure with long skinny legs and a body that curves in the most perfect places. Her pale eyes had flecks of blinding light that showed how pure she was. Her heart was full of good and kindness.

Darkness’ face was handsome along with his broad muscular body. He had long straight black hair that made his dark skin look paler than it was. His red eyes scared people, but Light always reassured them that he was a good being. Though Darkness looked scary, he was generous to the mortal beings.

When they fell in love, they had children. Triplets, to be exact. Each of the children had their own unique powers, powers that could be used for good and evil.

Strider, who was the oldest triplet, could wield lightning. He would use this to help the villagers with their crops during a storm. He fell in love with helping the villagers with all their farming tasks and vowed never to use his powers for darkness and evil. He was the first to throw off the balance of Light and Darkness.

Orien, the middle triplet, had the power of fire. When winters got brutal she would always come out to the village and light fires for people to cook and warm up. She would lend a hand at the blacksmith to make weapons and other tools the village would need. She would also provide more light to the village so the villagers could see at night. She was the second to throw off the balance of Light and Darkness.

Theon, the youngest triplet, could create water and ice out of nothing. When there was a drought in the village, Theon would provide water for the villagers. He would be very helpful when children fell and bumped their knees and needed ice to make the swelling go down. On hot days, the villagers didn’t ask for shade but instead for ice to cool off. He was the third to throw off the balance of Light and Darkness.

When the village of Aria was big enough to become a kingdom, Light and Darkness had been thrown off balance. The people in the kingdom of Aria formed two groups.

The group that grew loyal to Darkness believed that he was everything they ever needed to have a peaceful world. Without Darkness, it would be very difficult to fall asleep. With no shade, there would be no protection from the unbearable summer heat. But some people in that group were too loyal and started to believe that Darkness was the only god they ever needed.

The group that grew loyal to Light believed that she was the only god they needed in their lives. They would pray for her to remove all shadows so they could see what was around them all the time. They asked her to bless their children with purity in their hearts. To protect them from all darkness. The group that followed Light was the majority of the kingdom.

Darkness got very jealous of his children using their powers for only good. He thought they were the only ones to blame for the unbalance. So he asked his children for favors.

He asked Strider to only use his lightning for execution instead of helping out on the farms. Darkness tried to convince Strider that he and Light could handle the farms all on their own without any of his help.

He asked Orien if she could use fire only during the day for it weakens him when she uses her power at night.

He asked Theon to refuse to bring ice so the villagers would ask for shade instead. Darkness also ordered Theon to put out any fire that Orien made at night so that he could be stronger.

All his children denied his requests and he became infuriated. Darkness raged and the whole kingdom was drowned in inky black. Light, Strider, Orien, and Theon all came together to bring light back to the kingdom. They banished Darkness from the kingdom and told him to never return again until he could accept his place.

Before Darkness vanished, he spit out a curse and banished Light from seeing her children until they decided to accept their dark side. For the first time, Light was scared of Darkness but before she could do anything she vanished away from her children.

Darkness was not satisfied and he vowed that he would take over the world with darkness and would come back to rule over all of them. He would make it clear that Darkness had power over all. He would show them.

Darkness kept his vow and set off to every kingdom on the planet, turning all of them into evil and hate. The people would bow to him and in return, he would give them everything they would ever desire.

Mortal beings on the planet were scared at first, but after some convincing, the beings became Darkness’ pawns. They would do his will and obey every command he gave. They would praise him for all the evil deeds he did. He was becoming mighty.

Darkness then did the worst of all. He commanded that the kingdom of Aria, where his children reside, be burned to the ground. He ordered that no follower of Light was to survive. The followers of Darkness came to the kingdom of Aria and did was Darkness had desired. Luckily, his children were able to get most of the population out before the fire was able to do any damage. People died because of Darkness, but if it weren’t for the triplets, everyone would have died.

The triplets led the people out to seek a new kingdom, for they did not have a home anymore and no resources to rebuild it. Then, they found a land that had not been taken by anyone yet.

The castle of Krosla was placed beautifully on the edge of the continent. The sand on the coast had red, purple, and blue colored sand all over it Having the most light in her heart, Orien assumed the role of Queen. Taking the role in stride, she promised that she would protect her kingdom and everyone in it. She believed that one of the ways to protect her people was to prevent citizens from ever seeing her and her brother’s faces again. This way, Darkness can’t tack them down and kill people in her kingdom again. The only ones who have seen them in the past couple of centuries are the magnificent.

Now, only a couple of loyal kingdoms remain in the world. One of those kingdoms is called Chopver. But Darkness is moving through it rapidly though, and the triplets are finally trained enough to save the world from the horror of their father.

The triplets will defeat Darkness once and for all. They will be our saviors and restore Light to all.
