"Huh?"

Before i knew it i was in the water while sitting, when i see behind me, there's no tree, it was far away next to the backpack. Did i... really? I touch the water surface, pinch and clean myself. After all that it's still reality, i really just teleported,magic is real now.

Now that's make me more excited than when i did my first travel, as i stand up and try to dry myself it works as if the moisture itself disappear. Then i try all classic magic that implemented element manipulation as primary effect, the four, fire, water, air, earth, then i try if Mana can control those elements on molecules level or they just manifest fire fueled by mana.

Looks like I'm right, the easiest to understand are water, so when i stop the molecules inside, it become ice. Then i try fire to plasma, at first it will be hard but when i try it when i just thought how the composition of it, the plasma manifest by itself. The most surprising of all when i succeed forming iron bar, at that moment I'm convinced that magic is just atoms level of manipulation controlled by Mana, or maybe i just achieve Alchemy.

Then the next question is, what is Mana? If Magic is just a advanced science, there's gotta be explanation on how Mana works, from the previous experiment they look live nano level manipulator with power equivalent of a star. Or maybe they just find a loophole in how those electrons to rebuild something. Like energy, there's adding or subtracting just changing, yeah definitely sounds like Alchemy.

Even that is magnificent, at least I won't find any trouble surviving for now, and another question answered, my safety is guaranteed in my own hand. I try more experiments after one and another until i satisfied, certain and confident enough to use it. Everything realized with a thought with zero accident, that an impressive number for an unknown experiment with a basic from stories of fiction.

Before i knew it, sunset has come so i go pick my backpack now, thank you for your sacrifice, I'll use it wisely. Cut a branch from the tree beside me, they are far away up so i cut it with air blade then slowly put it down next to the river. Cut it up to make firewood, light it up, make some skewers with the leftovers. I see some small shadows in the river so i hope there's some edible fish in it, then i electrified the river part in front of me. There's not that few of them here even though i try not to use higher voltage for it. From the looks of them none has any poison as they all have dull color for their scales, some of them even look like a Bass and Carp.

The dagger are too big to clean these fish so i make ice knife to do that, cut the head, shear the scale, clean the guts and stick them with the skewers then stick the other end of them in the ground to make the fish facing the fire to be grilled. While waiting i raise the ground to makeshift a wall high enough to twice my height, facing the forest that surrounds me to the edge of the water. Then make the same thing in the water but with holes big enough for small fish to go in and out.

All of that took long enough for the fish to be cooked and the sky to be darken, the fish taste normal for unknown fish but quite good enough for me, at least they're filling enough so i don't need to use the preserved food. After eating i rise ground a bit so i can sit while leaning on it as i face the river and the sky.

This time I'm calm enough as my belly full, my safety guaranteed with my power freedom and more than enough time to wondering my tomorrow. As i sat there watching the sky, with one moon, good, at least the tide won't be different, but there's no star that i recognize. I add more firewood to burn, play with the fire i float just right above my palm when laying on the ground after i smooth it, this time using my robe as makeshift bed and the backpack as my pillow.

From a fist size ball of red fire i compress it to marble size one. Weirdly i didn't feel tired at all from using many wonder of magic, even now i still feel energized after all what happened. But there's nothing to do now beside waiting for the sunrise, better use this time to sleep, maybe this is all just a dream... Maybe not...

I woke up when the sky start to brighten, even though wrapped up with only leather robe i didn't feel cold at all, with the fire extinguish i should. Maybe it's because of the climate around here.

As a start i wash my face, clean my mouth with a bit of magic, showered, freshen myself up, with a long journey ahead i gotta ready myself. When i return the wall around me back into the ground, i find the forest full of mist.

Well this is a problem, with that mist it's hard to make a camp inside the forest to cross it. The easiest route will be going upstream to find civilization... Do i need to go there... well of course, i need some provisions, balanced meal are necessary. As i start to walk, i see more life from other side of the river, all kinds of creature, from something look like Stags with shining antlers to Wolves with vibrant colors, even Beavers.

From where i am all their size with my perspective are one finger tall but with the distance between us, i can guess all of them as big as my world elephant. Fortunately all of them busy with whatever they are doing, so a man walking on the far side of the river doesn't bother them.

I didn't encounter any creature on my side until afternoon, a sabertooth like cat but its fur looks fluffy like how a kitten usually had. Looks like I'm right this time, because they are kittens with two more beside the mother who came out from the forest chasing the one near the river while playing. The mother with the height almost same as the tree, slowly come closer to her kittens while looking at me. Their emergence from the forest are obscure for me because the mist still lingering but it's start to subside. Cat that big will easily catch me if i run or climb the tree, so i use magic rise a column of ground around me as pillar straight up to sky slowly.

When i reach the same height as the tree, she's still looking but after i reach twice the trees' height she finally stop then lay herself near the river while looking her kittens playing around. When i was wondering for what i should do next, that i realized that i can see farther beyond the horizon of when I'm on the ground. Well, with too many happening my mind still processing my situation that I'm unaware to do some common sense when stranded.

I have magic now let's use effectively, just walking around blindly will make me lost further, even though i just need to follow the river, do it the smart way. With my field of view expanded what i can see on my right and left are forest to the end of the horizon, even behind me downstream, while the river at some point going right, north, the forest reaching to the end of horizon.

Upstream instead i see the edge of the forest at the end of the horizon. At that moment i hear a loud beastly cry from west but i see nothing until i rise my sight to see a large Wyvern going my way fast. My battle instinct goes to work, with a thought i want to shoot it with a railgun, in one second all i need for those result to achieved realized. A bar of metal manifested as the bullet, necessary magnetic field for its propulsion and targeting sistem for its launch.

With a creature as big as cargo plane, for it to be killed in one shot, i thought i need a railgun but looks like it's an overkill as the shot disintegrated it with just its wings remains. And the railgun too are weird there's no sound, explosion or anything when it shot just the bullet launched, weird, too powerful. Even in Mike's stories there's bo character capable of doing this, am i that powerful? Will it corrupt me? No, it's just like money, use it moderately, sufficiently and I'll be okay.

Yeah, like my traveling time instead of Money this time it's Power, do not waste it. While I'm contemplating inwardly the wings had been fallen to the other side of the river and from here i can see many creatures fighting over it. Nobody or in this case nothing skip free meal, even the cats below me walk across the river with ice platform she make with magic.

Ice, hmmm, maybe i can make some kind of binoculars with it, when i thought so, an ice pipe like object appear on my hand. As i can see clearly at the edge of the forest with it, i try to fold the space again. Looks like the first time are not coincidence, i am teleporting, it's useful for far distanced traveling with dull scenery. But it's a waste when i want to experience are the scenic journey, but I'll use it for now.

I found myself outside of the forest with my back facing it and the river far on my left. In front of me and my right are vast meadow with mountains range at the end horizon of my right. On my front i can see the end of the river as it looks like there's a lake there, I'm sure it's a lake because there's still land at southeast connecting the lake and the mountains.

At the other side of the river there's a herd of creatures, Antelopes, Rhinos, Rabbits and Elephant or Mammoth as their size must be bigger. They all far apart from each other as i see them using the binoculars i can guess their size based on some trees near the river.

The biggest rabbit are human sized for sure, while the other vary but they all bigger than humans, at least bigger than me.

As i walk while appreciating the wonder of this new world then i continue to experiment with magic more. I'm sure i have absolute control over external phenomenon with that said I'm gonna try if i can manipulate my body. There's usually the Enchantments to make yourself more stronger, faster, and tougher even capable of amplify your perception.

Perception amplified with enhancing the impulse of the nerves to process the Enchantments of the muscles that rearranged that both of them achieved by using Mana. The more i use Mana the more i understand about it with my conclusion of it that i can only assume they're Automatic Nano Assistance Manipulator abbreviated as A.N.A.M then reversed as M.A.N.A.

It sounds stupid but it make me easier to accept as they have scientific explanation to it. Because the unknown scares me with just knowing as mystical power based on imagination. With this i can understand they're capable of receiving my command from my brain's neural system that channeled through them too without delay and precisely perform it perfectly.

What a wonderful application of "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" quote. Magic indeed, that's what i found from my experiments is as i don't know what people think about magic in this world is. Well, with finding civilization sooner or later I'll find out about it.

With the highest level Enhancement i can observe flying insects as if they're standstill with their wings moving very slowly. I start to run as fast as i can then when I jumped the height are ten time higher than my height. While I'm on air I try to reverse my gravity little by little that make me glide then fly from the momentum of my jump. While flying i see a lot of monsters beneath me this time.

Maybe the herbivore are more fancy on the meadow than the forest because they're safe here. Around midday i land near the river and eat my preserved food this time as i have no need to ration them. When i up in the air before i've seen port city at the other side of the lake. Enhancing my eye sight are possible too because i see a lot of ships and people there without caring the distance. I need plausible explanation to enter it if they need something like identification, i hope middle ages civilization have middle ages rules.
