Chapter6: Subduing a Snake
Quickly after explaining everything the odd mist and ancient voice faded. Silence once again ruled over the illusion and the only remarkable thing was the pressure emanaing from the altard with the mysterious red snake ontop of it.
'I don't think something like this can be ordinary. Even that fog appeared, since it did it means, that this technique really is exceptional.' A blood red glint flashed past Moral's eyes but vanished as fast as it appeared.
Since the technique wanted to test him he needed to give his all to obtain it. Moral just started to slowly walk in the direction of the altar. It emanated strong ripples of power as he got closer he could fainlty sense, that the altar was calling out to him. To go and get that technique and once again get stronger.
His current strenght should be at the peak of the Yuan accumulation stage by now. Altough that was only for his blood element. He wanted to face the strongest experts there were in the future, so he decided to suppress his cultivation base, so that he could start training in the void, fire and earth elements. It needs to be said, that it is unpossible, to train more than 4 elements. If one wanted to cultivate water and fire at the same time it was also unpossible since those two elements contradict each other. The same would be happening with earth and wind, void and light. There is also a force that will hold one back from breaking trough, if one would practice more elements if those elements were on different levels. That is ofcourse because the element energy couldn't stabilize itself. It would result in really great problems later on in the path of cultivation.
That is why Moral decided to hold back his blood element. Altough he wanted to know what his soulweapon would be he also wanted to be able to reach greater heights later on. So he wanted to endure it. In the Soulweapon acumulation stage one would have as many soulweapons as the number of energies one practiced (remember Vaia right? She only revealed her pagoda.)
Without further ado he started to reach the stone steps leading to the altar, which was lifted a little.
Moral was barefooted, he could sense the stone steps being as cold as ice, they seemed to want to clutch to his legs as if he would be walking in fresh blood. The red snake ontop of the altar turned around and started to watch him woth curiosity present in it's eyes.
If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
And again moral's eyes flashed with this mysterious blood red light, then a pitch black darkness, a bright blue-orange flame with a little of blackish color inside of it and a brown color which was as steady as a mountain.
The blood red snake's eyes flashed with the same light at the same moment the snake noticed the flashes running past Moral's eyes.
Moral stopped in front of the snake and stared at it. He could sense clearly that the snake was doing nothing different than just looking at their compatibility. That is because the flashes of red, orange-blue, brown and black were moments when he felt himself getting scanned by the gaze of the snake.
Suddenly he could sense a big headache again his eyes once again shone with the 4 colours of his elements which were mixed inside of his pupils. A great pain filled his head and then wandered around, just to stop for a second as if it couldn't find the way it wanted to go to.
"AAAAAAA"
The stream of incredible pain once again started moving, it went in the direction of his eyes. When it reached his pupils a stabbing pain enveloped his eyes and he needed to use all of his power he could muster to not close them. He knew that if he would back off and stop looking at the snake his test would be over and he would fail.
In that instant the colors in his eyes started to change and a big change could be seen as each color took half an eye in which existed only that one color. His left eye was brown and orange colored. It looked as if he would be a ruler that could be one with earth and merge into a divine flame to replace the sun. His right eye was pitch dark on one side and blood red on the other. It was as if he had laready seen thousands of corpses and walked upon a path of true viciousness, the black part looked empty, as if devoid of life, without a reason of life.
Moral's face started to flicked. He could sense his character splitting in four parts. One was cold as ice, indifferent, without life not even a bit interested what was happening, focused only on himself. The second as sturdy as a mountain, unmoving, devoid of the desire to move from the place he occupied. The third was determined to do everything, to only rise to prominence, to never stop going and to be a blazing sun that would never stop burning. The fourth was..... filled with a desire to fullifll a massive slaughter, to see blood flowing in rivers, to see people begging for mercy.
The gint of the snake bekame weaker as time passed. Soon Moral's pupils were getting back to normal. Well it was a normal which refers to his pupils having mixed colors again. As the colors returned suddenly a roar of a dragon resounded in his mind and a pitch black dragon came to be in his pupils. In that instant the snake collapsed and his eyes began to fill with even more pain, as if they would be burning. Moral let put a bloodcurdling scream.
