Violet Book Two Summary
Hello again, Dear Reader.
It is me, Violet. Hopefully, you already know that, but I let life, or my afterlife get away from me.
Okay, pen to paper, or should I say my thoughts to the system screen notepad?
First off, I should recap what has happened to me this past six months, or has it been a year yet? I have lost track of the days with so much happening, I made a deal with this Viking goddess, after I had died of course. I was murdered trying to save someone from an attacker in Vancouver, BC. I made this deal to get back to my mom.
So, What was the deal?
Simple, I would be reborn as this thing called a dungeon core. I was to make a place safe for humanity. Once that is done, I will reconnect with my family and mom. As I would soon learn, it wasn’t so simple. Turns out, there are two warring factions here on Mors: the Scorpions and the Wolf clan. And, I was stuck in the middle of it all.
First I was attacked by a small group of scorpion scouts, thankfully I could defeat them through my traps and scions. It is hard for me to believe that I started with a small group of spiders that barely stopped one scout squad.
As time progressed, I had battles with both groups, but thankfully I was able to save some people in the meantime. Mostly thanks to Jack, her information allowed us to bring in more survivors.
I can’t forget Nightmare and Goliath's battle in the swamp against the wolf clan scouts. That experience was a nightmare, pun intended. Thankfully, my scions won the day in the battle. I was worried for them.
We had a few more bumps and bruises from the wolf clan, but we managed to chase them off. At least I thought we had, until the attack squad showed up. That was a battle and a half, but again, Goliath and the spiders came through for me. Goliath is up to something with the one wolf he fought with one-on-one, but I have been too busy to look into that.

I also expanded the temple. I think the Huntress would be proud of that. I was able to create gardens in the underground, thanks to all the hard work of our refugees. One of my favourite expansions was the school room, mostly because Nightmare comes in with her creations for the children. She is always making them new clothes and toys. It melts my heart to see the kids all light up.
Don’t get me wrong, I am enjoying the development of a tavern in my little underground city, but seeing the kids happy makes the battles all worthwhile.
This reminds me of the massive battle we had against the bugs. It felt like something out of Starship Troopers. I watched that movie one night with my friends, it was so old and vintage, but the action was crazy. That is what it was like, the waves and waves of bugs, and not the vintage, the VHS tape kind.
You should have seen it with your own eyes. My librarian warriors holding the line. Bullets flying everywhere. These massive flamethrower bugs, but the worst of all were the scorpion knights. Those brutes were almost unstoppable.
Oh, don’t forget those Scorpion Knights. They were so scary. I really don’t want to be fighting a two-war front. I don’t think we could handle fighting those Knights and Wolves at the same time!
This battle causes me to shift gears. I began to create a more traditional dungeon, and I am trying to hide the city away, behind this new zone. Which, I think was a good idea, because shortly after the massive conflict, the wolf clan and scorpions began to work together in adventures.
I might have even added loot. I love loot. Back when I played tabletop games, we used to loot everything. I even looted a dining room set, how you might ask? Simple, I had a wagon and a donkey. We loaded everything we could get our hands on into that wagon. Good times. Anyways, my point was, I made this water world cave floor, and filled it with loot. The wolves and bugs got together and created this human-style adventure guild. They are currently exploring my first floor.
I am hoping this will stall the future wars. Fingers Crossed. I am excited to see where that goes.
The best news of the past few months. I think it would have been about six if I was using time from back on Earth. It took me about two months to create the airship and start to do raids with it. I am hoping to place pressure on the wolf clans.
Little did I know that my scions destroyed a lumber camp. And when I say destroyed, they set it ablaze. I hope that doesn’t come back to bite me in the butt, but they did manage to save the majority of humans trapped in the camp.
What is going to happen next?
Anything from the old gods, wolves, and bugs, to problems with people!
Fingers Crossed.
