Highly intelligent animals who work and wear clothes live in a futuristic cold country named Wintant. Ever since a plasma beam struck Earth in 1924, animals have been able to internally harness plasma that acts like magic and incorporate it into their society and against threats like malicious spirits. Hanna Santana—a restrained-yet-secretly-eccentric and erratic 18 year old bunny-monkey woman—gets enrolled in a prestigious and snobbish military college in a desperate attempt to escape her abusive and controlling mother. However, things are not as they seem as sinister truths about the world, free will, and fate arise. Especially, the true nature of who destiny chooses to be successful, and who destiny chooses to be hopeless. Updates at least once per week on Thursday at 1:00am (Central time). As such, the book format of Ventorous Vermilion will no longer update. I was dissatisfied with the medium of book-writing and will opt instead for visual novel format or rpg game maker format (probably the first).
