As my hoe goes down, 'Tak' and dig the soil while the sun is up in the sky spreading the heat to the world, I wipe my sweat on my forehead and look at my work. I've been doing this since morning, and it is tiring, yes but this is the only way to survive.

????:  "Heyyyy, Aoal!! Do you want to take a break with me?!!"

I look up and saw my childhood friend shouting to me, I said to him, "Stop slacking Esku!, continue your job! look at your part, it is still not halfway done."

Esku: "Who cares about that at least I'm doing some work"

He said that while smiling big and proud then I see someone behind him.

????: "What are you saying Esku?!"

Verja said that angrily, one of the guards of this village.

Verja: "You already started late then you want to take a break come with me."

Esku: "Ahhhh AOUBH AHHHH HELP MEEE AOALLL!"

"You may rest in peace Esku." I said softly, then I continue my work.

The sun is going to set when I was done tilling the land, well quite done but still need some work. While I was walking down, I heard someone calling me.

????: "Hey Aoal, good work out there."

It is the chief calling me, Chief Hingi, "Thank you Chief" I said to him. Then I continue walking while looking around seeing the things that I already saw hundreds of times, a poor village barely scraping by, well it is not like this before but due to the war, the need for provision and people is in demand. Most of our yield is going to the war barely sustaining this vill-- I was distracted from my thoughts because of the shout.

Esku: "Waitt for meee, Aoalll!!"

I look back and saw Esku running towards me, "Good job surviving, Esku", I said while smiling mischievously.

Esku: "You could help me though"

He said that with an intense look in his eye then I said, "So, what's the matter?"

Esku: "Ahhh yes yes, I almost forget, come with me to the forest!"

I don't know why but I can feel the determination in his eyes, so I asked "What are we going to do there?"

Esku: "Just come with me."

He pulled me outside the village after he said that. 

'Pshhhhh' I heard some water splashes and it is getting closer then I saw the river where the villager baths but we are in the north of the river hidden among the trees, so I asked him "Why are we watching the girls bathing?!"

Esku: "We are watching them because we are men"

He sounds amazing but I pushed him either way  *splash*  and then the screams echoes and I quietly go back to the village to go home.
