Solstice Security Solutions was a large organization, especially so for a group comparatively lite on Vain Glory pilots. In the Glorious Era much like the era before it a company like theirs lived and died based on 3 things. Their reputation, the skill of their operatives, and their information control. Of these three aspects the man known simply as Adam maintained a sterling reputation, questionable skills, and had an ability perfectly suited to gathering and obscuring information.
Aboard the converted oil tanker Frostbite, was a room in the bowels of the ship. The Room was dark and damp, a single naked light bulb swung from a chain and cast long shadows to and fro. Under the light of course was a man hand cuffed to a heavy steel chair and off to his side stood another in a thick rubber apron, a variety of tools and instruments lay on a tray behind him. The heavy steel door that led to the room opened wide with a squealing of rusty hinges and in walked Adam, ducking to avoid the door frame.
“Он его носит?” He asked, head tilted to the side as if listening to something far away.
“Еще нет” The man with the apron said. He picked up a white earpiece with a green stripe and inserted it into the man in the chair’s ear.
“He should understand me just fine now. You can leave us.” Adam said. He waited for the door to shut behind the other man before giving the one in the chair his full attention. “it is truly a wonderful age to be alive is it not?”

Only silence greeted him and he frowned.
“Come now, we’ve barely started.” He admonished lightly. He slowly walked over to the tray that was left behind and picked up a syringe waving it in front of the mans face. “A bit of a pick me up before we start.”
“Gonna load me up with a truth serum huh? I always thought that stuff was a myth.” The man in the chair said.
“Never. That would ruin all the fun, and truthfully I have no clue whether or not it really exists. No, this is a simple pain killer. I’m sure we’ve left our marks even through a sub-dermal weave.” He quickly injected the man.
“Really, gonna get me high as balls before you start cutting off pieces?”
“Nothing so crude, but this works best if you’re relaxed.” He said with a wide smile, eyes beginning to glow a bright green.
He reached forward and pressed his thumb to the man’s forehead, his power surging.
“Your name is?”
The man kept silent but the answer still floated to the forefront of his mind.
“Echidna. Varalfa. Vain. Core. First generation. Home. Safety. Failsafe.” He fired off in rapid succession, each answer floating up for him to casually read. “Excellent. I doubt you know anything about the next question but I am obligated to ask. Why was Drake Winter killed?”
Satisfied with the answers he gathered, he twisted his power and filled the man’s mind with a single command. “FORGET.” He then calmly removed the Babel ear piece from the now slumped man’s ear and left the room.
Outside the door a messenger was waiting.
“Sir, Bianca зовет вас сэр. Это о ее сыне.”
“Understood.” Adam said with a sigh.
