So, I would like to take a moment of your time to announce a couple important things:
1. As some of you may or may not have heard, Patreon has made a new billing option public! Instead of 'first of the month' billing, creators can now opt into 'pay on the same day you sign up'!
https://blog.patreon.com/introducing-a-new-patron-billing-option
Now, this is a big change from how Patreon has done things for many, many years. It's *hard* getting the message out to people that there's now a new option, and even harder to tell who's signed up for it. I'm trying to get the news out to as many readers as possible, so you all know what's going on with your favorite creators.
I personally have enrolled in this.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
This means that any patrons who signed up from this point on will now be charged for subsequent months of subscription on the same date they signed up on.
2. As some of you are undoubtedly aware, my first story, Blood Demon's Retirement, is ending, with the final chapter coming to patreon later today. Readers of the Archmage/Archmagus tier would be able to read it there from today, and those of the Mage/Magus tier would receive access to those chapters around next month.
This does not mean that patrons of the archmagus tier will be deprived of a story for the amount they paid for, however. A new story of mine, "And None Shall Remain", will debut on Royal Road around late October or early November, and likely on patreon as early as the middle of next month. Please look forward to it!
As for those who enjoyed Blood Demon's Retirement, I wish to extend my deepest gratitude, and would like to assure you that this will not be the last time you see those characters from the book, as my planned fourth entry in the anthology (slated around the time Unliving or Free Lances ended on patreon) will pick off shortly after where Blood Demon's Retirement ended.
I wish you all a great day, and thank you for taking your time to read this!
Sincerely,
Avitue
