Chapter 7

I descended into the stadium and below and space was cleared for my landing, it seemed I was known, good. Throughout the stadium there were various podiums in which the different guild were running recruitment centres. As my feet touch the ground the ground rippled and I made a small metal dome shaped pavilion. I made a chair inside and gave the pavilion a single entrance.

I had already visualized a command structure for my guild. With me at the top I would have council that ran the actual guild. I planed to have 4 leaders who had connections to my 4 elements, a martial head and magical head. If more leaders needed to be introduced I would implement it.

To clear things up me coming to the recruiting hall was nothing more than an announcement, that I am making a guild. However today I was not recruiting. After setting up the pavilion I rose again into the sky and disappeared.

I began hunting for my new leaders in what the rest of the world now called the badlands, which was disturbingly close to my base. The bad lands was essentially canada and a small portion of the northern USA.

I entered the badlands In search of prospective members for my guild.

As i enter i discover why they called this place the badlands, there was a lot of monsters. Much of them more powerful than the gorilla. Seeing this I decide to hunt for a few days before actively searching for people. This would be an excellent way to practice and evolve my signature unique magic, i'd taken to calling it cataclysm.

So far It had no form but it did have definite characteristics. Namely it had three colours that held its characteristics. Firstly silver, silver represented reinforcement and weapons. I used this mainly for armour and weapons, interestingly once summoned the weapons could stay forever they had no duration or upkeep and could be made into different qualities depending on the amount of effort put into initially making it.

The celestial blue was almost like a different variation of mana, It looked like blue liquid that could turn into blue lightning. I also could use this as a power centre to power any other elements.

Finally the black was something I recently added, It was like a separate force. That is what it was plain and simple, telekinesis and gravity rolled into one.

Using all three together produced a rune effect that I had yet to explore.

Moving on I spent the next three days offing monsters as I saw fit. There were a few interesting ones and a few I was sure were near to being dragons. Over time my cataclysm magic grew more powerful. The shape also changed within my soul, coincidentally into what I looked like when wearing my silver robe. Instead of a face there was swirling masses of blue energy and the robe was lined with the black energy.

A few days after the cataclysm soul formed I noticed something, someone was following me. It seemed to be a person. I smiled when I first noticed them, they were trying be discreet. Using mana steps to keep themselves off the ground and leave no tracks. However I could sense the ripples of mana they were like a shining beacon saying ‘here I am’.

I toy with them for a few days, going faster then making bends in my direction seeing how they keeps up. It's actually quite funny, I can see him scrambling, I have confirmed it is an guy, whenever I come close and struggling to keep up when I go slightly faster. What really kept me entertained was the fact he was improving while watching me, I think i've found one of my new leaders. I stopped for the night, something I had not done before, I could sense him watching cautiously. I make a fire and make some cooked monster meat, I leave one portion to the side.

He exits from his hiding spot.

“How long did you know I was following you” He asks plainly

I observe him before I respond. He was at least six feet tall, had shaggy blonde hair with hazel eyes. He was sporting tattered jeans, t-shirt and sports jacket.

“You're mana leaked your presence” I said while gnawing on the leg of a monster.

He grunts in response, he then points to the other portion of food and I nod. He grabs and eats it with a passion, probably hasn't eaten in days.

“Who are you” He eventually asks

“Arc I respond, Most people call me the silver titan now”

He nods.

“Why you here then, it's pretty obvious you're not stuck here”

“True, I have a reason to be here though”

“And that is”

“Im making a guild, because the ones everyone else is making are frankly garbage”

He just nods when I say that.

“You want to join, I'm building up the higher ups before I get new recruits”

“I want you to join” I continue.

“You improved over the past few days and seem to a decent person, that opinion comes from how you didn't try to attack me”

“How do I know your that good”

I create a fireball and toss it a mile away, he looks fairly unimpressed then the shock wave hits and flies into a tree. He gets up coughing and looks at me.

“Teach me you monster” he says with a maniacal grin on his face.

I laugh, this will be fun.
