Chapter 3
About 6 hours have passed since my brother started his transformation. Contrary to my expectations there was barely anything magical about the process, the only notable change was at the end in which his body shifted there was no noise it was almost like he transformed in an instant. He change was weird to be perfectly honest, He got lean and his ears grew pointed. He looked like an elf. No two ways about it hes an elf, i'm confused however why would he turn himself into an elf?
He woke up in the next few minutes blinked and looked around. He then did what I did and buzzed around the room, the way he did it though seemed different almost as if he was moving with the wind if that makes any sense. When he finished flicked in dying in front of me, I presume to try and surprise me but he “flickered” into my arm clotheslining him. He looked extremely surprised on the floor.
“Howd u do that” he asked while massaging his face that was introduced to the floor.
“Im faster”
“No shit” He says while getting up.
“You looked at your books yet”
“Yeah 3 weird ass books”
“3” I ask
“Yeah how many you get” he says glancing at me.
“15”
“Well fuck you too bud”
“Ha” I let out a dry laugh.
We take out his books, he tells me the god that awoke him told him the books were based on th whims of the gods and their ideas of our potential. He was a bit sour that a god thought I had more potential than him but we both got over it. His books were nature, wind and low and behold he got a technique, ki bow. Basically forming your ki into a weapon imbuing attribute and using it as a weapon, I wanted to try the idea later. My brother also had abysmal talent with mana by like me was a monster with ki.
Hours passed as we talked about all this crazy shit that was happening, I realized I missed this with him just talking and fucking around. Growing up we were always competing and shit like that who knows why, eventually we thought the competition made us enemies, I wouldn't let that happen this time, we would still compete but as rivals. I could tell he was thinking along the same lines as me as I left.
“See you later Kline” I say while leaving.

“Back at you Arc” He says back as I drop from the window.

When I get home I have nothing else to do so I decide to either try making the ki weapon or starting the other books. I eventually decide on the weapons for two reasons, one swords and knifes are cool which are what I was going to try and make and second I am not in the mood for riddles and poems dear god I hate them.
The technique book Kline had was basically a thin leaflet, I memorized it. Breathing in and out slowly I let my ki exit my body like I did before when examining Kline. Instead this time the amount I put out was huge it could be seen with your eyes. I realised this was like when I used ki as a foothold, could that be a technique also? An idea came to my head, if i've already created a tailor technique once why stop.
I start with this current technique. It was essentially hardened energy outside the body it was useful because you could control the density of the weapon and consistency, however that meant it was a huge power drain. Plus I didn't like it, the “sword” I made didn't look very good. I began thinking how to improve it. Perhaps I could add mana, sending that out as well it coiled like before and with a bit of effort it merged and suddenly I found myself in the same space I was in when reforming my body. Was this some sort of state in which I could design stuff, if so great i'm gonna have some fun.
With an image of a claymore in mind I began. The blade being made of energy overruled the fact the most weapons worried about durability of the metal. I could coat the blade with whatever aura I wanted so I didn't play with the element that much. All I did was make the blade longer than normal and made the blade pure silver and handle and guard ebony black.
Not stopping with the one blade I design a blade with no handle that I could throw or control in the future, I like planning for the future. I could make a lot of these I sensed.
I then made a glaive with a long black ebony handle and pure silver blade. I had the best color scheme.
Finally I made a pure silver bow and the string would be made of mana and ki, same for the arrows.
The main difference between my technique and the other one was the fact maintaining the weapons required no power but I could always add some, paired with the fact the other technique required you to focus on one weapon only.
Smiling at my success I summoned a claymore to my hands, it was light and sharp, I like.
With that I ended the day by absorbing more energy and cultivated my body before going to sleep.
