The sun casually rose as it always did, symbolizing a new day. A young man was late for school, the young man was known as Karma, or, K.
He forced himself to hurry as he quickly got ready for the day. This included a black and red school uniform, as well as putting a small hair-pin his sister had given him into his hair.
If K had hurried and ran fast enough, he should be able to make it only about ten minutes late for homeroom. Unfortunately, it wasn't a simple and easy task. He would have to run just over two miles.
As K eventually made it to school, though with little to no time left to spare. He knew that homeroom was simple enough, as they did some usually did simple physical maneuvers. One of his favorites was a high kick, which was an easy task for him to do.
As class ended, the first break period he had began. With the break period, was a constant array of verbal harrassment toward others in the class. It didn't ever really seem to end, though he'd gotten used to the constant bickering between the students.
A message appeared on his cell phone. As he clicked on it, a text from his little sister, Fate, arrived on screen. Though, as he reached out to open the text, his screen went black. His phone had run out of battery.
"Good timing."
He murmured to himself, following with a sigh.
A few class periods later, it was lunch time. Hundreds of students lined up and gathered to get their daily meal. Usually K didn't pay much attention at all to those around him, though for some reason his eyes naturally glanced toward a short freshman with long black hair.
The girl laughed to the two friends next to her, as a much taller and rude senior walked up to her. He was obviously a bother to her, though he was such a narcissist he didn't believe so.
"You're cute for a freshman."
the tall senior spoke loudly unto her, and leaned down toward her face.

K hesitated as he almost stepped out of the lunch line to 'help' the girl. When he tried, he got halfway before being punched in the face by the tall senior's friends. They all glanced down at K, before the more dominant of the five spoke.
"Listen here 'Karma' or whatever your name is, our buddy is going to get that girl, and you're not going to bother them. Understood?"
He had looked at K as if he were mere livestock, powerless livestock.
K and the group of seniors stood, staring at eachother for a good five minutes. K kept a straight face, which was normal for him, considering he didn’t usually have reason to smile. Eventually the seniors left him alone, though not until the senior pestering the girl was gone.
K decided to leave campus with the time he had left, and went home to make himself a quick meal.
As he walked through the door into his house, K felt sick. A dark blank abyss was to his left in the living room.
His eyes glanced around the room, trying to find a reason for this mysterious abyss. Upon seeing nothing, he froze in place.
”What is this thing...?”
K was seriously confused, and slowly took deep breaths as he walked up to the abyss.
He reached his hand in, feeling a force of something similar to sucking him in.
The force got stronger and stronger, as he was violently thrown into the black ‘portal’.
Everything inside was unseeable, there was absolutely no light whatsoever. It freaked K out, as he began to hold his breath.
When he slowly was able to see light, it was the light of a full red moon.
“It was the middle of day just a few seconds ago...”
K looked around at his surroundings, finding himself in a forest of blooming cherry blossoms.
He sat and stared for awhile longer, before looking toward the full, red moon.
“Red, why is it that color?”
K let out a confused sigh, and stood up, once again taking a look at his surroundings.
”Thinking about it, where am I?”
He turned around quickly, remembering the abyss ‘portal’, seeing nothing but the distant cherry blossoms.
His eyes widened, as took a good look at his surroundings.
"W-Where am I...?!"
K's screaming voice echoed throughout wherever he was.
He was quick to stand up, and take out his dead, uncharged phone, checking it. His mouth released a sigh filled with stress, remembering it's 'brutal' shut-down. Not only had he not known where he was, but it was getting even darker.
