two silhouettes were sitting in a open field facing each other one was a boy with white hair mixed with some red and the other person was a woman with black hair and emerald green eyes these two people were xyrus and Farrah 

xyrus was sitting in a half lotus position with his shirt off and eyes close with Farrah in front of him with her palm placed on the middle of his chest 

"you don't need to try and absorb mana since your body is already doing that automatically what I want you to do is focus on just moving the mana in your body." 

"even if you say that I don't have a clue how to even begin doing that."said xyrus

"I want you to clear your mind of all unnecessary thoughts and focus your attention on the area of your chest that my hand is on and feel for your mana." 

with that xyrus started to focus on the area of his chest where he felt her arm 

(she said to just focus on this area but what do I do now uh what's that?)

a huge ill shaped  lump of light appeared in His consciousness a light so bright it felt like it would blind you if you stared too long but what he noticed the most was that it  seems like part of the light was flowing of in one direction

(is this my mana?) 

"it seems that you have already find it impressive." said Farrah "now I want you to stop the light from flowing off and reshape it in a perfect ball." 

(so that part that's flowing off in one direction must be going to one of the marks on my right arm) 

xyrus then began trying to stop the light from shooting off in that direction but it was easier said than done after trying for who knows long he finally managed to stop the light completely now all that was left to do is reshape it into a ball he was just about to begin when 

"we will stop here for now." said Farrah 

xyrus then opened his eyes and noticed that it was now night out 

"why stop here I think if I continued I could of made the ball," said xyrus 

"yes i don't doubt that you could have but It wouldn't be good for your body." said Farrah "a week has passed since we begun you haven't noticed it yet but you should be very hungry and thirsty." 

"wait!! a week, you mean i have been doing this so long but it seemed like couple of hours to me." xyrus was surprised by what she just said 

"that's very normal your sense of timing gets mixed up while doing this," said Farrah "do you feel any different since that mark isn't active anymore." 

"no I don't feel any different than usual." 

"I suppose in time you will know for now let's get something to eat." said Farrah

"it seems I've finally managed to form it into a ball." said xyrus 

its been two weeks since xyrus has started to learn to control his mana and he has finally gain enough control to form it into a ball 

"good now that you have completed the first step we can move on to the next step." 

"I want you to start trying to send the mana in different parts of your body." said Farrah

"yes." 

xyrus then began to imagine his body with the ball of light being the centre of it and slowly started to send it to different parts of his body first his arms then his legs his stomach his head after another two weeks he finally managed to learn complete control of his mana 

"impressive you are really talented at this in just a month you've done something it took me about a year to learn." said Farrah while looking at him with a smile on her face 

*badump badump* 

just looking at her smiling caused xyrus's  heart to skip a beat

(that's the first I've ever seen her smile I wonder if I can get her to smile more.)

"now that you have managed to learn to control mana I want you to try an activating the second mark on your arm."  

"yes I do my best." 

xyrus started to manipulate the mana in his body and send it toward the second mark on his arm as soon as mana reached the mark it started to glow and then it  changed into the shape of an lightning bolt as soon as it appeared red lightning started to appear on xyrus's hands and a massive bolt of lightning shot off from his arm into the forest destroying everything in its path

xyrus stood there dumbfounded when a shout snapped him back to reality 

"STOP!!." 

he then stops sending mana into the lightning mark and the lightning coming from his arm stop and the mark stopped glowing but it still stayed the shape of a lightning bolt 

xyrus just stood there now staring at his hands which were bleeding it seems the power from before was too much for his body to handle 

Farrah stood there watching him and then looked at what's left of the forest 

(I sensed this power of his was dangerous but not to this level) 

seeing him standing there still staring at his hand she figured he must of been frightened by what he just did 

" it was my fault for not taking - 

"it's not healing

xyrus cut her off before she could finish speaking

"I don't understand what you mean." said Farrah 

"my hand is bleeding but it hasn't healed yet this hasn't happened before " said xyrus 

(wait!! could my healing ability have something to do with the first mark)

with that thought he began sending mana to his first mark again 

Farrah seeing what he was trying to do was about to stop him but what she saw next just left her speechless 

I'm just second his hand healed 

(its just as I figured so this mark is responsible for my unusual healing ability but why doesn't this mark change like the second) 

while he was still in thought he noticed Farrah's eyes locked on him 

"um Farrah this let me expla- 

before he could finish speaking Farrah knelt down grabbed his shoulders and pulled him so close that he could feel her breathe on his face and she said 

"become my apprentice." 

"huh."
