--Ivan POV--
I have awoken with a strange feeling with my body. From what I see, I am inside a brown enclosed room. I tried to lift what I felt was my right hand but what I saw betrayed me. Aside my right arm, I saw another bigger arm complete with another hand with something hanging between my wrist up to my back.
Hmm, this is interesting.
I tried to stand and have a feel of my body. After a few minutes of fumbling around, I found that I have a second set of arms that are attached to my back. Something like a bat wing but I guess its something closer to what a Gore Magala has. My lower legs are similar to what a Protoss has. I don't have a mouth as expected but I feel something like two appendages from my supposed to be cheek bone protecting my lower head like a helmet. I also felt the two horns with its tips facing front. From my memories its something similar to what the Full Hollow Ichigo has. I also have a long slender prehensile tail from my lower back. On my first set of arms I got something like a retractable sharp bone-sword ,two and a half feet in length, that can be deployed at the back of both wrists. I tried channeling some sort of psionic power and found that the bone emitted a black light around the edges. I guess this is similar to what a Protoss Zealot has only that they use technology to create it while mine is purely biological. I tried to extend it to check the its maximum length only to find out it can be shot out like a bullet. The bone-sword regenerated after a few seconds at most.
I got used to my body after a few minutes. I haven't tried to fly yet as the place I am in is too cramped to fully spread these wings. Just where is the exit in this thing. I looked around and saw where the bone-sword that I shot out went. I saw that it tore the part of the wall there.
Don't tell me the moment I was born I got eaten? The hell with this!
I extended my bone-swords and channeled psionic energy in it and hacked away at the nearest wall. I emerged from the so called room only to find a bigger room. I was shocked when I saw a creature which is like a hybrid between a worm and a spider.
"Hello creation." spoke the creature with a raspy voice. "I am Abathur. Your master!"
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
Abathur? Hmm why does the name seems familiar. Then it struck me. This guy is the evolution master of the Zerg! The Abathur who designed the Kerrigan the Queen of Blades!
"I created you so kneel before me." demanded Abathur.
I then looked at Abathur and replied. "I serve no one!" I then charge at Abathur with my bone-swords glowing with a black light.
--Protoss Nerazim in contact to the Overqueen POV--
Six months ago, after our group has finished speaking with the Zerg Overqueen Zagara about a possible rebellion from one of the Broodmothers. Each one of us went and sneaked in to each Broodmother's Hive and checked. After six months of investigating & intel gathering, we suddenly received a distress signal from the Dark Templar that was sent to check Broodmother Xylenxir. We hurriedly went to his location only to found out his mangled corpse. The Teleporter that should have saved his life was probably destroyed before he died. It seems that our enemy knows this information.
We then all looked at each other.
"We need to tread carefully. There might be a trap waiting for us." spoke our squad captain who was the eldest.
"Agree." we said in unison. I was the youngest in our group so I was placed in the middle of our formation.
We then investigated the Hive and found that the rebelling Broodmother is Xylenxir and she is trying to recreate the Overmind by using this Hive as the Base. We then hurriedly turned back with the information. We decided to give this information to the Zerg Overqueen Zagara and to the Daelaam. What happened next will forever haunt me.
"I see you all, Sons of Adun. For someone who lived long and technologically advanced race, you lot sure are stupid." hissed the Broodmother.
"Wretched zerg! You dare destroy the peace we all have kept!"
"Peace was never an option for the Zerg. We consume. We adapt. We evolve." spoke the Broodmother as she raised her claw to strike us.
We all dodged. We all though we did. We didn't know she already placed traps on our location. One of my seniors got caught in one of the tendrils in the Hive.
"One down, one captured. Five to go." hissed the Broodmother.
"Everyone, we kill this Broodmother. You!" he then pointed to me "Notify the Overqueen and the Daelaam. This madness must be stopped. We will buy you time."
I cannot do anything with my inexperience. I was born in time of peace. I nodded and ran immediately back to the Overqueen. Barely hearing what my squad captain said. " Adun Toridas....." and after that I hear screams and a diabolical laughter echoed the chamber.
Her Brood got in my way to the Overqueen. I have blinked and battled my way through her Brood. The faster I ran, the more wounds I get but that does matter anymore. I need to relay this information to the Overqueen or atleast to her council about Broodmother Xylenxir's plan.
After what seemed an eternity to me, I found Broodmother Stukov.
"En Taro Artanis. Broodmother Stukov! I have information on what Broodmother Xylenxir's plans she-" I was not able to finish my sentence when a barbed tendril slashed me from behind, destroying my teleporter. "What are you doing!" I shouted.
"Preventing those stupid Broodmothers from destroying the Zerg." Stukov's image distorted then shifted and then changed to Xylenxir's appearance. "The Zerg has many abilities, Son of Adun. And one of them is shapeshifting. Now with your teleporter gone, I can now destroy you. Hahaha!"
I accepted my fate that I will never defeat this Zerg but I shall never abandon the task given to me. I blinked and ran away again. For the brighter future.
