Chapter 4

Taiyou woke up early. He started his day with a rigorous physical training routine, pushing his limits with push-ups, sit-ups, and sprints. The routine helped clear his mind and focus his thoughts, reminding him of the urgency of his mission.

During breakfast, Taiyou sat with his family. "You're up early again," Arata noted, a hint of pride in his voice.

"Just trying to get stronger," Taiyou replied with a smile. Aiko chatted about her day, her cheerful voice a pleasant background to Taiyou’s thoughts.

After breakfast, Taiyou made a mental list of things he wanted to achieve:

1. Master the Fireball Jutsu.

2. Improve his chakra control through tree climbing.

3. Learn genjutsu techniques from Shisui.

4. Investigate potential threats to the clan, including Danzo's activities.

5. Find a secluded training spot to practice in secret.

At the Academy, the day’s lessons were intense. Taiyou's sensei, Hideo, introduced new techniques in ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, and chakra control, mainly the leaf exercise which he already mastered. Taiyou focused intently, absorbing every detail. Teamwork exercises were emphasized, teaching the students the importance of collaboration in missions.

During a sparring session, Taiyou found himself paired with Riku once again. The rivalry between them was palpable. Riku’s attacks were aggressive, but Taiyou used his Sharingan strategically, predicting Riku’s moves and countering effectively.

"You're on fire today, Taiyou," Sensei Hideo remarked, noting Taiyou’s progress. The praise sparked jealousy among some classmates, but it also earned Taiyou respect.

Later, Shisui shared updates with Taiyou. "Danzo's activities are becoming more suspicious. His Root organization is moving in ways that suggest they’re planning something against our clan," Shisui explained.

"And Itachi?" Taiyou asked.

"He's under immense pressure, balancing his duties to the village and the clan. We need to help him, but we must be cautious. Danzo can't be trusted. He's planning something, and we need to stay one step ahead."

Shisui then revealed his Mangekyo Sharingan. Taiyou's eyes widened in shock as he saw the intricate pattern in Shisui's eyes, a stark contrast to the typical Sharingan. He immediately recalled the same pattern in Itachi's eyes during the massacre.

"You have the Mangekyo Sharingan..." Taiyou whispered, his voice trembling slightly. "Just like Itachi did."

"Yes," Shisui confirmed. "And I have a plan to use its abilities to influence key figures. It's risky, but it might be our best chance to prevent the massacre."

That afternoon, Taiyou trained with his father, focusing on the Fireball Jutsu. Despite his earlier struggles, Taiyou was determined to master it. Arata provided tips and adjustments, helping Taiyou refine his technique.

After several attempts, Taiyou felt the chakra build up in his chest. He performed the hand signs—Tiger, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger—and expelled a small but successful fireball.

"Well done, Taiyou!" Arata praised. "Keep practicing, and you'll master it."

Buoyed by his success, Taiyou continued with chakra control exercises, practicing tree climbing and water walking. He encountered classmates during these sessions, fostering camaraderie and competition. These basic exercises were crucial for mastering more advanced techniques.

In the evening, Taiyou met with Shisui for a more in-depth discussion. Shisui taught him a simple genjutsu technique, explaining its applications and limitations.

"Genjutsu is a powerful tool," Shisui explained. "But it must be used wisely. Manipulating others' perceptions can have serious consequences."

They also discussed long-term strategies to protect the Uchiha clan. Shisui hinted at his ultimate plan involving Kotoamatsukami but kept details vague for safety. Taiyou's resolve to support Shisui and Itachi grew stronger.

One night, Taiyou decided to explore the outskirts of the village, searching for a secluded spot to train. As he ventured deeper into the forest, he stumbled upon a hidden laboratory, remnants of Orochimaru's lab he read about in some of the scrolls.

Curiosity piqued, Taiyou approached cautiously. Suddenly, he was confronted by a grotesque creature, a product of Orochimaru’s twisted experiments. The creature was humanoid but deformed, with bulging muscles and pale, sickly skin. Its eyes were wild and filled with a mindless rage.

Taiyou's Sharingan activated instinctively, the single tomoe spinning in his eye. He dodged its attacks, the adrenaline heightening his senses. The creature's movements were erratic, but Taiyou's Sharingan allowed him to predict its next move.

The creature lunged at Taiyou, spitting a stream of corrosive acid. Taiyou dodged just in time, feeling the heat of the acid as it sizzled against the ground where he had stood. He rolled to the side, avoiding another attack, and countered with a series of taijutsu strikes.

Subconsciously, Taiyou began to infuse his attacks with chakra, increasing their power. Despite his efforts, the creature was relentless, and Taiyou found himself getting tired and injured. The creature managed to land a heavy blow on Taiyou, sending him crashing into a tree.

In a moment of desperation, Taiyou's desire to protect his family and clan surged within him. His Sharingan evolved, gaining a second tomoe in each eye. He felt a new surge of power and clarity, allowing him to see a few milliseconds into the future.

The creature lunged again, and this time Taiyou saw its move before it happened. He dodged effortlessly, formed the hand signs for the Fireball Jutsu—Tiger, Horse, Ram, Monkey, Boar, Horse, Tiger—and expelled a small fireball. The creature reeled back but continued its assault.

As the creature closed in, Taiyou's determination intensified. The fireball grew larger and more powerful, engulfing the creature in flames and reducing it to ashes.

Panting, Taiyou stared at the smoldering remains. He realized just how dangerous Orochimaru's experiments were. This encounter only strengthened his resolve to protect his clan.

Returning home, Taiyou tried to hide his injuries, but his mother noticed. "Taiyou, what happened?" Hana asked, concern evident in her voice.

"I was sparring with a friend, and things got a bit intense," Taiyou replied, trying to sound casual.

"Be more careful," Arata said, examining his son's bruises. "You're pushing yourself too hard."

"I will, Dad," Taiyou promised, feeling a mix of guilt and determination.

That night, Taiyou reflected on the day’s events. He felt a sense of accomplishment and a renewed determination. But also so sore
