Regulator’s stats at the end of chapter 26, Part 2
The regulators spent two months hunting Rocs, California Grizzly Bears, Cottols, and Trolls in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. That gave each member seven ability points plus another approximately seven hundred experience points. Throughout the writing of this story I have kept careful track of how much experience each person earned, but did not add it into the story so it wouldn’t get bogged down with boring math. Each monster killed gives about 50 experience points x the level of the monster, then divided by the number of people in the party. (1 Cottol level 15x50 exp= 750 exp/ 7 people involved in the kill= 107 exp per person.) Throughout the story some people die or are otherwise not present when a monster is killed and therefore do not receive the experience. Humans and monsters gain 1 level for each spell they learn, each strength point they gain, each addition of 50 health, and each addition of 10 Stamina or Mana. Humans start at H-100, S-30, S-1, M-0

Brun is not above level 3 with any type of weapon, Level 4 with staffs from being a black mage. Staffs do not gain levels. At level 4 Brun can point the staff in the general direction he wants the spell to go and the spell will hit its target. (Someone at level 1 with staffs must point the staff at the target as accurately as a rifle.) Level 4 reduces Brun’s cast time to simply saying the first syllable of the spell he wishes to cast. Someone at Level 1 must clearly pronounce the entire spell name.

The following __/Max is the average for the Regulators. Some are closer than others to reaching the max kills for experience of a specific type of monster. (I) stands for indigenous- that monster will always be on Nuva and always remain at that level. (P) stands for tyter prey. These monsters come to Nuva at level 1 and gain levels. This chart shows the average level for adults at this point in the story. Indigenous monsters respawn in the same spot 1 week after they were killed unless that location has been occupied, then they will respawn in a similar available location somewhere on Nuva. Prey do not respawn if killed by tyters or when they have certain spells cast on them. They respawn hundreds of miles away in a similar environment unless they have a set respawn point.
