~Naoaki’s P.o.V~

We had been in this forest for a quiet a bit of time right now. When I say we, I meant professor Takasugi and me.

I hate to admit it, but we are currently stranded in the middle of forest with no ideas how to get out of it.

 At first, I followed the Professor since I thought she knew where she was going. After following her for an hour and a half, I gave up. I only noticed that she had horrific directional talent until it was too late!

I mean she is such a perfect person. I heard from my seniors and rumors from my classmate about professor Takasugi. According to my source, she is named the school goddess due to her majestic presence and beauty. Her incredibly high magic capability only raised her credibility even more.

To think that such a perfect being be absolutely horrible at directions… I shouldn't complain I guess since I'm only following her around. Why the heck did I end up with her?

Let's go back to the day when red hair senpai was beaten by professor.

-flash back-

I'm standing next to big senpai and did not move muscle as Professor Takasugi came toward us. The difference of power between professor and I are unmeasurable.

What the hell was that?!

She used magic without chanting and crushed red hair senpai without any effort. This professor is scary.

How did she become strong? I could only look at her with a bewildered face while she walked toward big senpai and me.

For some reason, I want to hide away or run off away from here, but I stay put while putting on a calm mask.

“President-dono, the headmaster wanted you to come to his office with Miyata-kun. He said the Vice President-dono will also be there.”(Big senpai)

Wait, me too?! Why am I being called?

“Alright, lead the way Roku-kun, Nyah.”(Professor)

“Yes, president-dono”(Big Senpai)

We were led to the headmaster’s office. I have never met him before since I arrived to the academy after the orientation. 

Because I had the human king’s backing, I didn't need to take any of the entrance test, which would have been impossible for me since I still haven't learned much about this world. 

For some odd reason, redhead senpai followed us staying close to professor’s side. The two were chatting amicably while following big senpai who went in front of them. From what I hear from their conversation. 

They were at it with each other few minutes ago, now they are best friends?! I knew it! Girls are scary… Maybe I should find a way to get rid of the harem aura before it's too late…

As we arrived to a pair of large elegant French doors, big senpai stopped and knocked the door loudly.

“Headmaster-sama, I brought president-dono and Miyata-kun.”(big senpai)

“Ah! Please do come in.”(Headmaster?)

Big senpai opened the two over sized doors and let us in. When I walked in, I could not help but admire the classic style headmaster-like room. 

“I should get going now… I’ll see you later Momoe-chan!”(redhead senpai)

“I must take my leave as well, see you around”(big senpai)

The interior is quiet nice and contains enough space for a meeting. In the middle of room, several furniture articles are set to have seats facing the tea table. There was one single seated sofa, a lover seat, and a three seat sofa. Seating in the single seat is the headmaster or at least that's what I can deduce from his appearance.

The headmaster(?) has long beard and long hair which has been grayed with age. His face is full of wrinkles and his eyes are half closed.

Seating in a lover seat in the right, next to the one seated sofa is a girl with beautiful straight black hair and deep crimson red eyes. Her skin is so pale it makes her almost seem like a doll and her elegant and haughty aura makes her seem like a goddess. She turns her bored eyes full of boredom toward us. When she glance toward our group, the girl’s eyes sparkle and a blinding smile appeared on her face.

“Oneesama, Nyah!”(professor)

With a high pitch yell that sounds more like a battle cry, professor Takasugi ran toward the girl and lunged into the air. Which the black hair responded by spreading her arms as if she is about to catch the professor.

Somehow, the black girl manages to catch professor into a princess carry, and professor’s face turn completely red.

“O-Oneesama, please don't carry me like this, Nyah!”(professor)

While saying that, professor motioned her carrier to let go but to no avail. Realizing that the black hair girl won't let go, professor started to struggle while the black haired girl firmly hold her in place. Professor Takasugi, who I have believed to be unbelievably mature for her age, became flustered and began to wildly blush making me wonder if the professor I know and the one in front of me right now are really the same person.

The black haired girl carried the struggling professor to the love seat and let her down with a soft plop. Then she put her arms around the professor and started caressing her head.

Professor closed her eyes and purr lightly… No matter how you look at it, isn't this yuri? This is way too unnatural even for siblings and childhood friends. I do not know their relationship yet since even though professor calls her Oneesama, they act more like lovers…

“*Ehem* Momoe-chan and Arisu-chan, I have an important matter to discuss with the two of you. This concerns Naoaki-kun so I had him brought to me as well.”(headmaster)

“Is this about the summoned hero thing you told me about in the morning, Nyah? Since you already told me once about it, you want us to do something else for you, right, Nyah?”(professor)

“Hahaha, extremely sharp as always Momoe-chan! Yes, I called you here today to tell you about the circumstances that brought Naoaki-kun to this world from another world.”(Headmaster)

“We are listening so continue”(Black hair girl)

“Arisu-chan, and Momoe-chan… You two don't seem to be surprised. Most people would be overwhelmed with a concept of a person from another world getting summoned here. In fact, this is the first time in history for a hero summoning. Without the instruction from the Goddess of destiny, Fate-sama, it would have been impossible.”(headmaster)

For some reason, I thought I saw professor scowl for a second when Fate-sama was mentioned. That's strange… I must be seeing things.

“You wouldn't be saying that if you knew what she is really like, Nyah….”(Professor).

Professor Takasugi whispered softly under her breath. I don't think the headmaster heard her but I on the other hand heard her clearly.

The professor continued on without minding what professor murmured.

“It would seem that recently, the Goddess Fate-sama bestowed us a prophecy concerning the summoned hero. According to our Miko, the Fate-sama said that there is another continent close to ours. This continent is filled with war race known as Berserkers. Berserkers are supposed to resemble human race except they have higher fighting capability and magic capability. We can only tell the difference by their appearance. It is stated by Fate-sama that the Berserker race has tattoo on their face colored by dark blue. This tattoo is present during infancy till death. Somehow, this barbaric war monger found new technology in order to come across from their continent to ours using ships. We caught their scout ships in the demon continent and have gotten the information by interrogating them. Their main war fleets will be here in 7 years.”(headmaster)

“And your point in telling this story to me and Oneesama is, Nyah?”(Professor)

Yeah, I don't understand why he would bring this up to those two, especially since no one else in the continent except the royalties know.

“It was Maou-sama’s idea.”(headmaster)

“That stupid Sensei, Nyah! I don't care if he is the former demon lord, I am going to spear him with ice, Nyah!”(professor)

Professor complained loudly, however she didn't actually sound angry at all.

“What do you want us to do?”(Arisu)

The girl, now called Arisu, spoke while glaring at the headmaster. Head master began to sweat profusely while the glare intensified.

This is not normal… Even I can tell that the headmaster is scared of her… So why is that?

She might have exceptional talent but when I use [analyze] she is just a little above average. Something is wrong.

Lily can you tell me anything about Arisu?

Name: Arisu Takasugi…

… Sorry Naoaki-sama, for some reason all her informations are classified. Even I can not access her data.

I see, so something about her is not right for sure. For now all I can certain is that she might be powerful enough to stop Fate-sama’s AI from even appraising her.

While I tried to find out about Arisu, the conversation continued.

“Your sensei believe that the two of you might be the most capable ones to guide hero Naoaki to victory against the Berserkers, so I would like to ask you to help him become stronger.”(headmaster)

“I refuse”(Arisu)

“That's great Arisu-chan!... W-wait! You refuse?!”(Headmaster)

“It's a pain to try to help, ask Mochi.”(Arisu)

“O-Oneesama! I don't think I can take care of him by myself, Nyah!”(professor)

Professor turn her gaze toward Arisu in a surprise.

“You will be fine, I'll help when you really need it.”(Arisu)

“Okay, Momoe-chan! I am counting on you!”(Headmaster)

Wow, attack from both sides. Poor professor, she doesn't have any allies.

Ever since that day, Professor has been training me in sword fighting and magic. Today was supposed to be day for students to hunt monsters for real fight experience. The whole school participates and are put into groups.

I was put in to professor’s team with another girl, but the girl became sick the day before and it ended up just being us.

“Oh! I see a lake here, Nyah! *ehem* I mean I c-completely planned on finding this lake, Nyah?”(Professor)

Why did she end it with question mark?! I am really starting to lose all confidence in professor Takasugi…

“Well, I sweat a lot so it would be nice if I can refreshen myself, Nyah. Naoaki-kun, please go find some fire wood for the night and don't come close to the lake after you finish, Nyah. If I find you peeking on me, I am going to freeze your whole body and throw you away somewhere far away, Nyah!”(Professor Takasugi)

“O-okay, professor.”(me)

Of course I won't peek! I’m a gentleman ya know!

Anyways, she doesn't have any breast or anything to look at, professor has a washboard flat breasts after all.

“You just thought of something rude and sexual, right Nyah? I bet you were thinking about how small my breasts are. Naoaki-kun, ecchi, Nyah!”(professor)

Wha~ she guessed correct! Is this the so called woman's intuition?! That is a very dangerous and scary ability!

“Anyways, I told you to call me by my name when we are not in the classroom, Nyah!”(professor)

Hah~ do I have to? It's embarrassing to call your teacher by her first name, it makes it feel like we are lovers even though I don't have any interest in her as a romance partner…

“Sorry… M-Momoe-chan”(me)

“Good, we are friends nyahow.”(Momoe)

Ouch, she bit her tongue! Profe… I mean Momoe has tears hanging on her eyes while she covers her mouth with her two dainty hands.

“A-anyhow! I'm going to wash up in the lake, go do something somewhere else, Nyah!"(Momoe)

Yes, yes. I wave my hand in acknowledgment and went off into the woods to finds some fire woods.

Apparently, this “field trip” is supposed to be around four days three night thing and we have to find our own food and shelters. What kind of field trip is this?!

While picking some sticks for fire, I found a rabbit so I caught it with a simple net I had in my inventory. Don't ask me why I have it, I just do…

I came near the lake again and set up a tent we were given today by the teachers. It wasn't hard to set up since all I had to do was find a nice spot and put magic into the tent set for it to have it set up automatically. Magic is so convenient!

I set up few traps around our camping area to hunt for other games and went out to look for some edible plants Momoe-chan taught me about during our exploration today.

*grrrrr*

The heck?! I looked up and I see a creature with black lion mane, two long elongated horns, muscular purple body with large jaw in front of me. That thing is a Behemoth!

The creature, which is on its four legs, looked at me as if it found itself a nice meal. Even though it's on all four, the size of that monster is sizable to around a whale.

Oi! I'm not that tasty looking ya know?! I don't have much nutritious value, ya know?!

The creature lunged toward me with full force and I summon out my sword to block the blow using the [holy sword summoning] skill. However, my sword breaks instantly and my body is flung across the tree.

The force of the blow was so strong that the tree broke and I heard cracking noise around my rib cage. The creature approaches me confidently as if I'm just a small fry.

“Don't look down on meeeee!”(me)

I yelled at the monster with fierce anger. Hearing my bloodcurdling cry, the large beast snorted at me. I lunged forward after summoning another sword and stabbed one of it’s eye.

The beast shrieked in pain and glared at me with blood shot eyes. It must have made the Behemoth angry to have a mere human damage it.

I have to buy some time so that Momoe-chan can escape! Resolving myself I started my counter attack.

Striking my sword left and right continuously, I pushed back the beast. However… I knew it was ineffective as it used one of its front leg to block all my attacks. The purple fur around the beast is too tough for my sword to damage it.

Before long, my holy sword broke again, and the beast strikes back. The blowing force from the beast’s power threw me toward where Momoe is. Most of the tree in front has been broken from the blow and my body landed in front of the lake.

“Kyaa, Naoaki-kun, why are you here, Nyah?”(Momoe)

The girl who is naked in the lake yelled out in exasperation. Once she looked at my condition, she got out of the water hurriedly.

“What the heck happened to you, Nyah?!”(Momoe)

Her naked body is right in front of my eyes. Momoe-chan please put on some clothes. My eyes are closing steadily and my consciousness is fading out.

*ROAR*

Oi, keep it down, I'm trying to sleep here.

“Hah~ heroes are indeed troublesome, Nyah. Next time I see Fate, I am going to give her a piece of my mind, Nyah!”(Momoe)

Momoe was saying something but I barely can hear her.

Suddenly, my body is enveloped in warmth and my pain started to subside. I start to gain back my consciousness and open my eyes to see Momoe, now covered in bath towel, using healing magic on me. 

“What about the Behemoth? Leave without me, it's dangerous.”(me)

“Shut up Baka! How can I leave my friend and leave, Nyah? Anyways that thing is a small fry to me so just relax and rest your body, Nyah.”(Momoe)

After healing all my wound, Momoe got up and walked toward the Behemoth which has been swiping toward something. Now that I been healed fully, I noticed that there is a barrier around us and the Behemoth is unable to go through it. Because it was striking the barrier without any success, it comically looked as if the Behemoth was doing a pantomime.

“Die, Nyah!”(Momoe)

She summoned hundreds of earth spears and made it rain downward all at once. The magic spears pierced through the thick furs that even my sword could not damage and the behemoth was killed in a mere second.

“Well, I guess this is going to be our dinner, Nyah~”(Momoe)

While humming happily, Momoe stored the dead beast into her inventory using magic.

“It's going to be night time soon, Naoaki-kun, let start the fire now, Nyah!”(Momoe)

I get up and follow her obediently, and started the fire when we got to our campsite. I sat down and looked at the fire aimlessly when Momoe plopped down next to me.

“Sorry, I was useless today. Even though I have to face an army in seven years, I'm still too weak to even fight something like that.”(me)

Even with a holy sword, if I'm not strong enough, it's useless. The Holy Sword is supposed to grow along with the user.

“You know, I think you did pretty good today, Nyah. All you need to do is train until you become stronger. Nobody starts out strong you know, Nyah?”(Momoe)

“Yeah, I guess”(me)

There is an awkward silence between us until Momoe speaks again.

“Naoaki-kun, do you believe in reincarnation, Nyah?”(Momoe)

“I guess I do?”(Naoaki)

“Good, then this would be easier to explain, Nyah. First of all, Oneesama and I have both reincarnated from the same world you were summoned from, Nyah!”(Momoe)

Eh?! What!!!

Momoe tole me about how she used  to be a person named Matt and how she and Arisu died in their world. How they were summoned by the God, why they were reincarnated and how come I was summoned even though it was supposed to be impossible.

She also talked about how annoying it was for her to become a girl, which I can understand since I can't imagine becoming a girl.

After that she started to complain about Fate-sama.

“You know, it was her fault that those Berserkers are coming to this continent. She just loves messing around too much, Nyah!”(Momoe)

I listened to everything and got to know Momoe better.

Do I feel weirded out by how she used to be a guy? Heck no, even if she was a guy in her previous life, I just can't see her as a dude.

After her complain spree was over, we talked about anime series, light novels, and manga. It seems that we have similar taste in that area.

Momoe also cooked a stew from the rabbit I caught earlier and grilled some meat from the Behemoth. Even though I was reluctant at first, but it was delicious.

Momoe used different types of seasoning and herbs along with some vegetable I found before I was attacked. I don't know how she was able to but her cooking skills are divine.

After eating our fills, we went to sleep. I was going to offer keeping watch but she set up a barrier with alarm function and told me it was fine.

We slept in the same tent, but nothing happened. She didn't mind sleeping together since she used to be a guy and I didn't mind since both our body are still in it seventh-ish year.

Well, this chapter was nice, Kuma. I wonder What Arisu is planning, Kuma? She has been isolating herself too much lately and won't even tell me what she is thinking, kuma! And I'm the author, kuma!

Arisu: *take out her sword* Really?
