Mikes POV

I still couldn't believe they were charging a gold to come into this bar, a gold was more than what most of us this close to noobsville earned in a day. Sure the “beta” had been going on long enough for people to earn that but they were off in high level areas or living in the capital at least not the town after start village really there was only a hill and a forest in between. And the drink was basically piss with bubbles or froth. And all because of the “brawl event quest” they added, three nights ago, when this new named npc wandered in.

I knew her name though I think she must be part of the GM of this areas story as she's filled the forest and hole in the hill with named dens. Finding her little homes was all a big game. She was obviously experimenting in them part of me felt a memory to ratman from that game you play a lab mouse running around with a gun that makes wormholes. Though instead of an obsession with cake it's one with boxes. Though I can't say that the lab game didn't also have an obsession with its boxes either.

Looking at her in that short skirt and little apron with a corset on the outside of the rest of the dress I had to say it was an interesting appearance for a violent Mage brawler.and yes it was the Mage part that got the line for this place going and the charge raising a entry fee so extravagant. One of the things the game did for the beta start which was different to what the finished game was you could not start off with a magic skill. And so there were few and far between of magic users in the factions of players of the game and simply having a skill with a magic effect was seen as a greatly improved character. So anything magic related drew players like a moth to a flame.

And here was a mage down on her luck, working as a waitress. Many wanted to coax her into becoming a “companion” ai or become her student and learn from her. As well the only thing we would keep if we weren't in the top 5 at the end of the beta was something called a family connection system which if anything like the sifi mmo that once mention such a thing was gonna be a bogus waste of time. And that are skills would be selectable for custom build characters for our accounts. True most probably won't go for it as the starter skills of any build are important but it was something everyone dreamed of finding something useful for that custom build to make one badass new character start, after our accounts close and this world goes through the admins “Event Scenario” whatever that is in ready for player migration.

So here I am doing pretty much the same thing as everyone else trying to work out a way to learn something anything interesting from this event character.and well sparring doesn't seem a bad idea after all that's how she became famous to most of the players, I think it's gotta have something to do with boxes, and her dens, why was she living like that? Why isn't she now? What kind of elf is she supposed to be, since she has the ears but to be honest, she's the first I’ve seen in this game and well with all players default locked at human well it's a fun thing to think about the lore of this world.

But sadly the brawl begins again before I can ask her anything of the sort, not that I know what I'm gonna say, coming up with good things to say to a girl known to throw spells around a bar, is kind of hard to come up with.

And actually a lot of these guys are using skills off to start the brawl fighting over who gets to spar with her first…do I get that right, I guess with the entry fee be declared because of “the inevitable brawl” no ones even bothering to try talking with her there just hoping she's a mob that drops cool items or something, huh. Well I guess that's one way to try getting a girls attention. Personally I have never thought starting a fight with a girl working at a bar, the best way to get stuff out of them especially if they are the fighter/bouncer of the bar as its there job to stop it. And ok I. Not 100% on that being her job as she starts every night waitressing she definitely ends up throwing people out so I'm gonna say same mind set.

Really I'm not the best with this stuff but I'm thinking this isn't the companion ending of the quest… Not for a mage anyway maybe if she was a barbarian waitress. But the mage becomes friendly through a fight?

I just think we're going about the event wrong.

Sorry for short  post and long wait, the word app on my iPad updated into a version that made it too cool to open for me. And with work getting in the way never mind me just not being able to feel right at all with my fight scenes I ended up reading instead of writing, as I tried " research" totally not finding the wonders of reading  others work without leaving comments...no that would be bad I would totally not be doing that. You can't prove anything.

But on another note here's are not so funny mike character yay, normal gamer, no having to come up with backstory just gamer mike....mu haha I can use you for finding crap out about the real game stuff and the non fantasy world around it muhahaha,  you may be boring mike but you are useful. If I keep you.
