Salim: “My, my, my, look at those fine legs……”

                      “He heee he hee he”

                       “I wonder if those lumps are soft…….”     http%3a%2f%2fwww.royalroadl.com%2fforum%2fimages%2fs...h_087_.gif [http://www.royalroadl.com/forum/images/smilies/th_087_.gif]

                        “He he hee hee”

Kapoooooow…. Kaboom…. Kataaaak…..

Salim:         “Ow, my head…..”

As I woke up I saw Vionia holding a broken chair over her head.

Salim:       “Why are you in my room?”

Kratuooosh….. http%3a%2f%2fwww.royalroadl.com%2fforum%2fimages%2fs...h_090_.gif [http://www.royalroadl.com/forum/images/smilies/th_090_.gif]

The chair in her hand was completely broken on the impact of face….

Salim: “Are you standing guard to shoo the flies away?”

“If so could you please you a broom instead of a chair!”

Slaaaaaaaaaaap

Salim: “Whhhaaaaaaat has gotten in to you?”

Vionia: “I was sleeping peacefully then in my dream you came up and picked up my skirt and started staring all of a sudden and when I tried beating you up in my dream you disappeared. So that’s why I left my dream to come here and beat you up.”

Salim: “Well that actually also happened in my dream.”

Brishhhhhh… Kadiiish… Griiiiiiit….

Salim: “I hope you have money to pay for those vases you just broke against my face.”

Baaam…. Biiissssshhhh

"What are you doing now?" I asked Vionia

Vionia: “Pervert, pervert, pervert."

As she left I whispered to myself. “I was not in control of my dream.” “How interesting…  … Awww my face really does hurt.”

zzZ.zzZzz. zzz. ZzZz .zZz  Zzzz.

As I got up when morning came, I was quite found of the peaceful morning for once.

BAAAAAM!

My door swung open. It was Vionia yelling as she and Tio came in. “get up sleepy pervert.”

Her shouts even woke up Fricks, who is a heavy sleeper.

The mess still being there… The room went in to a mysterious silence…

“Breakfast time” I said and got up and left the room with the co. in tow.

After breakfast and paying for all the damage, we went outside to walk around.

As soon as we stepped outside we saw we were standing in the town square with a small flower garden in the middle with a water-well. I could describe this village as a one street village. Across from the hotel stood the supposed town center that was slightly bigger than any other building except the Inn. The Elder who not only lived there, also worked there, all of the building were one story building other than the Inn which was two stories and acted as a restaurant as well.

The gate we came in was the North gate, which happened to be right next to the Elders dwelling.

From the North gate to the town center was the market place that consisted of a market building next to the gate. Next to the market building was the blacksmiths shop, across from there were two small warehouses that stored food and excess supplies, such as ores if there were any at that time. Next to the blacksmiths shop was a small library and across from that was a kids playground with a small school.

As I stood on the porch of the Inn, observing everything as if for the first time the Elder approached and said that he wanted to talk with me. As I told the rest of my co. to go look around I went with the Elder to the town center to see what he wanted to ask me.

To sum up the conversation I had with the Elder it went something like this. This town was a new frontier opened roughly 5 years ago. Only the bravest came here being especially grateful, that the Grandmaster blacksmith came along and the engineering/ architect Scholar as well. He said that about two years ago the youngest prince stopped here by the name of Prince Jeffry Thule, the Elder personally knew the prince and trusted him greatly. So the village made a deal with the Prince that if he is able to convince the King to build a Wizards tower in this frontier village. The local blacksmith and the residents of this village will pull their resources together to build a carriage the like never seen before. The problem arose about a year ago when everything seemed to go smoothly. The King declared that the village was way too far, and said he didn’t want to invest in the construction of a Wizards tower in a dying village, that happens to be surrounded by some fierce monsters. The Prince wrote us a letter of apology for not coming through he also said that being the youngest prince out of 12 older brothers sometimes has a down side to it, we didn’t blame him.

We have even spoken to the Wizards Guild, as we asked that they send some Wizards to study here as soon as the tower was built. The tower itself acts as a defense against attacks of monsters and as a means to transport goods long distances. Even though the teleportation was not yet ready to send people from one place to another it was able to transport lifeless objects.

The Elder then went in to detail of what their plan is. It’s to build a Wizards tower; The Elder said that the architect has already made plans detailing everything about the tower, It would act as a storage and protection incase hordes of monsters ran across the plains that they tend to do once in a while destroying everything in their path. The only structure to survive was the blacksmith’s shop made of stone. We all hid in our fallout shelters underneath our homes in order not to be killed by the monsters.

After he continued to tell me different stories I got tired and said. “So what do you want from me?”

He said since you’re so strong I want you to lend us a hand in transporting the stones from the quarry. Then help us stack the stones once we start building the tower.

“How tall is this so called Wizards Tower?” I asked.

The Elder frowned and said. “It should be around 25 stories high.”

My jaw dropped…. “What’s in it for me?” I asked.

“Well we don’t have money but will pay you by giving you the carriage that was supposed to be made for the Prince; it could be sold in the Capital over 1,000,000 gold.

The Elder spoke up and said. “According to the calculations the architect said it would take us 5-7 years of hard labor to finish the tower. He also calculated the next horde attack to be around 7.5 years from today. What do you say? Will you help us? During the time of construction you won’t have to pay for your stay at the Inn or the food.”

Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation.

“When they perfect the Teleportation Spell for Humans, let me have unlimited free access to use this service, and any other services this tower will provide in the future free of cost.” Is what I immediately replied.

The Elder pondered for a little while and said “We will even include a small property where you can build your dwelling if you want. 2000x2000 meters right outside the North gates toward the Brik’s Mountain range.”

“I accept” Is what I said without even reading the full contents of the quest.     http%3a%2f%2fwww.royalroadl.com%2fforum%2fimages%2fs...08785a.gif [http://www.royalroadl.com/forum/images/smilies/cd08785a.gif]

“How could I get so carried away?”

“Stupid game…. Stupid game….”

“Who came up with the stupid idea that risk outweighs the benefit?”

“RRRRRRRRRSSRrsrsrsrsrlsjrlrhjsoedroshoie.”

“KAaaabBBaaaAAng”  I was now looking at the bottom of a frying pan that was stuck to my face.

“Pazoooon… Katuk… Kabam… ” This time it was the broom smashing my groin. “My man’s pride… Awwwwwwww”     http%3a%2f%2fwww.royalroadl.com%2fforum%2fimages%2fs...01_-v2.gif [http://www.royalroadl.com/forum/images/smilies/th_001_-v2.gif]

Vionia: You stupid idiot how could you accept such a quest without talking with me. It seems you don’t know anything about VR games.

Salim: Weeellllll iiiitttt isn’tttt exactlyyyy a gammmmeee for meeee. Siiinccee iiii woke upppp hereeee wwwwitthouttt annny experiennnce in the realllll world.

Salim: Plussss ittt seemed aaa gooood oppurtuniiity since it take nearly aaa year just tttooo reach the next village froomm hereeee. Onnn foot that issss. Sinnnce immm in noo hurryyy I decided to help the villagers.

Vionia: Eh whatever, nothing can be done now since I don’t want to be a LVL. -30 character with negative stats. So I guess I will have to help you so that we can get out of this mess. I don’t want to spend more than 5 years here. You hear me?

Salim: Yessss. Ass you wisshh youurr highnesss.

“Kaboooon” there goes the frying pan in my face again.

After the mid-day the Elder took the co. and I to the Quarry through the south gates. The male villagers ran the quarry with a roughly 15-man crew. They have already cut a lot of stone that made the stockpile look like a mountain of bricks.  I asked the Elder if there are any horse carriage’s not in use so that I can make the two animal companions pull one each full of stone bricks.

The Elder gave us special backpacks in order to carry the stone bricks, a special one was made for me that was nearly 5 times bigger. Vionia received a regular size one even then she was given only one brick to carry so that she can build up her stats since she couldn’t even lift two stones.

I made arrangements with the elder that we would only stop to work when either our stamina was gone or when we were hungry.

Whenever our stamina was gone I would force them to sleep either by knocking them out, in this case only Vionia. So that she can regain her stamina faster and get back to work. I would wake her up by dumping water on her.

I told everyone that this would be our training regimen for the next year. The villagers themselves were quite weak. Once they saw the little Vionia, even though she was probably the same age as me work hard, the younger kids as tall as Vionia would also carry a brick each.

Every time I went to sleep what woke me up was not a bucket of water poured on me but a brick hitting my face. I even got two skills one called Stone Face and another Earth Resistance.      http%3a%2f%2fwww.royalroadl.com%2fforum%2fimages%2fs...h_085_.gif [http://www.royalroadl.com/forum/images/smilies/th_085_.gif]

That is how our first week went by. Working day and night due to the quest category being almost impossible itself we did not want to face the failures.

Thus started the stockpiling of recourses on the empty lot next to the Elders house next to the site where the Wizards Tower was going to be built.
