The Free Commuuns

The Free Commuuns

The commuuns were a bewildering sight for me, the cultural shock that I experienced was nothing like I have ever expected. first, they are nothing like the beasts in the stories that were told to kids to give them frights, they are nothing like the proud people that were talked about. uninteresting uninspired uncultured unwanted - those are the words i would use to describe them

“a grimoire for anything ord”

Dear sister

At the moment of writing this I have been on the road for approximately one month.

the “Commuuns” or apparently how they are called here the “free commuuns”

are a world away from the stories that mother used to tell us.

they are not brutes, I am not sure if even calling them a human is something I can do. They live as if they are 9th citizens, and there is not a thought about improving their conditions. I‘m not sure if they even consider the possibility of improving their lives. Here are some observation i made about this people they are: unintelligent, stupid and unambitious people which live to die.

It would also seem that these miscreants are not creative with their naming conventions, if we can even call it that. Choose the first thing you see and that’s what this place is called.

I, so far. have traveled through two different commuuns: the Sandstone commuun and the Vine commuun. You get the idea with their naming conventions

I will briefly go over them as nothing interesting happened. I rested at the sandstone commuun. Then made a stop at the vine commuun for winter to pass.

While unambitious at the very least their hospitality and generosity is something to admire.

Then I hoisted up and continued, I am currently a day away from the Kibbutz. and today is the day that I leave my current bodyguards and get a new one; assigned from the kibbutz. He is supposed to be the best of the best, so I somewhat feel safe. I am waiting for the day I'll be able to get back. Put some flowers for me at brothers grave,

Love Pale.

As much as I dirtied my mouth about the people. the view, the land, the geography. all of those amazed me. It was nothing like I have ever seen. The color variants in the commuuns were more advanced than anything that exists at the root kingdom.

Royal Road is the home of this novel. Visit there to read the original and support the author.

And now, I could see the first formidable commuun, the Kibbutz.

It holds a legendary title at the root kingdom. people saying that even though they are commuun people one of them amounts to ten well trained soldiers.

From some rumors I collected from the military people, I figured out that the person that is assigned is a competent military man with quite the pedigree.

My musing were interrupted as the cart crested a mountain, the sight captivating me. As the Morning sun barely peeked over the horizon, in-front of me rested the Kibbutz.

it was huge, bigger than any city even in the root kingdom. spanning across an expansive mountain range, intimidating walls spanned all across the mountains. Even from a great distance I could see the guards’ armour shimmer in the early morning light. I looked out of my wagon noting the reactions of the guards currently accompanying me. Their excitement was palpable, after all, it is not everyday that you get to see the Kibbutz.

As we approached a large group of Kibbutz guards approached us, my current guards shifted uneasily, and it made sense. The kibbutz soldiers were wearing much heavier armour, and the sun was shining directly behind them.

The captain of the guards walked forward, Symbols of his rank shining brightly with a crimson light.

“Welcome Root people” the head guard greeted us with a heavy accent,”what are your intentions here today?” he asked in a commanding tone. While he spoke his soldiers surrounded our group; weapons at the ready.

“Greetings commander” said our head guard, who always refused to speak to me. “We were sent to deliver this politician to the Kibbutz.”

The Kibbutz commander nodded, motioned with hand and walked back towards the gates.

Still surrounded, they led us to the gates, this whole time I did my best to appear composed within the cart. The tension was overwhelming, My composure failing something that should never happen to me. I should not have listened to mother. No. I Held down my thoughts, I reestablished my composure. I can have my doubts later.

The sound of the gates opening shook me awake. behind them I could faintly hear an excited crowd.

It seems that the arrival of people from the Rüt kingdom was a reason for excitement and celebration here, it was comforting. They probably wouldn’t do something too underhanded.

I looked out the window, and there I saw a crowd of people. When they noticed me looking at them the sounds of excitement turned into cheering.

I was shocked for a second, this is not the first time people cheered for my arrival, but unlike now, there are usually other targets of the praise and adulation. I came back to my senses and started waving. Smiling, waving, properly responding to the excitement of the crowd.

As we continued through the city people followed murmuring in excited voices, I sat up in the front of the carriage. Resting, maybe this would turn out well after all.
