Chapter 4 - Goal Set(for real) 1
After filling up his stomach, Furgaku returned to the inn and went straight to sleep; ignoring a certain important someone waiting for him. But, at the dead of night, Furgaku wakes up covered in sweat; finally realising what the uncomfortable feeling of missing something from before was, Furgaku rushed out of his room, and downstairs to the streets.
There was nobody present; the streets were completely dark and empty; there was some noise from far away, but Furgaku ignored it. Rushing down a random road towards the direction of the gates, he saw a slightly familiar face.
“Hm? Kiddo?”
“Turnis? Wait, you remembered me?”
“Hahaha. Of course, I remember you; how can anyone forget a person with such unique features like you.”
“Thank you?”
After receiving praises(?) from Turnis, Furgaku explained that he needs to go meet someone.
“Alright, but be careful. We’re quite close to a dungeon so there are more monsters than most places. I had to work a night shift because the local lord rallied the other knights to exterminate monsters today, leaving behind the minimum amount of guards required. If a large bandit group finds out about this, they’ll be able to take over the town like nothing. Ah, I'm on a rant again, I'm sorry. The gate's already open; you can go ahead.”
“I see. Thank you for the warning; I’ll be on my way now, see you later!”

After waving goodbye to Turnis, Furgaku quickly exited the gates and wandered into the forests. After feeling a sense of Deja vu from being lost for hours, Furgaku found himself in front of an open hole to the side of a rocky hill.
“This must be it. Hopefully.”
Rushing inside the dark cave without any light to help his vision, in the middle of the night, like the idiot Furgaku is, he hits his shin on a random blunt rock.
“Argh! F**k!”
“Oya, it took you long enough. And watch your filthy mouth!”
“???????”
A slightly sweet voice took Furgaku by surprise. Using the slight illumination from the full moon outside of the cave, Furgaku saw a figure slowly walking towards him.
Slightly drenched in water, a girl appeared, roughly around 16 years of age. The girl wore a white one-piece dress, with some frills at the end, passing her knee. She had long hair reaching her waist curling halfway down, which had a light bronze silver-colour, and she also had a cute ahoge to top it off. The girl had sharp, deep green eyes which can charm any man who stares into them.

"Hey?"
“Is that how you greet someone as great as me!? Although, I did lose all of my power upon entering the human realm…”
The girl had an air of arrogance, which didn't really fit her looks. Furgaku, on the other hand, had an uncertain expression.
“Nice to meet you again. My name is Furgaku; what’s yours?”
“I’m system 566.”
“That’s your name?”
“What’s wrong?”
The look on Furgaku’s face became slightly surprised. After thinking for a while, whilst system 566 hums a random tune, looking at the moon, Furgaku opened his mouth.
“How about a human-like name? I can recommend you some.”
“Sure.”
System 566 unexpectedly replied positively to Furgaku. After thinking some more, Furgaku opened his mouth again after looking at System 566’s chest, which was a B cup at most.
“How about the name, Charlotte?”
“Sounds nice.”
“Can I call you Lotte for short?”
“Whatever. Can we get out of this cave now?”
“Alright.”
After exiting the cave, the two walked through the forest trying to reach the town. Whilst walking, not a single word came from either one of them, which made it kind of awkward. Furgaku was thinking of a strategy on how he could bring Lotte into the town considering she probably doesn’t have any identification.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two arrived back at the town gate after a few hours of Furgaku's a̶m̶a̶z̶i̶n̶g̶ h̶o̶r̶r̶i̶f̶i̶c̶ okay navigational skills, which was judged by Lotte who had to take the lead halfway through their venture in the forest. The two were greeted by Turnis after exiting the forest.
“Ooooo. Nice girlfriend, you got there. Anyways, can I have your identifications?”
Ignoring Turnis' chuckling, Furgaku was about to interject to ask a favour, but Lotte handed over a card from nowhere, which surprised him.
“You are… Countess Charlotte Furgani from the Syland Kingdom!? I’m so sorry; I didn’t know you two were nobles!”
Seeing Lotte’s card, which looked nothing like a guild card, Turnis panicked and decided to put Furgaku in the same classification, of a noble, due to his rare features.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Without even checking Furgaku's guild card, Turnis allowed the two to enter without any trouble, and Furgaku quickly returned to the inn, pulling Lotte with him. The two rushed up to Furgaku’s room, and Furgaku quickly closed the door upon entering with Lotte, almost running out of breath.
Calming down a little bit more, Furgaku sat down on the bed with Lotte, who had a confused and annoyed look.
“What’s with the rush?”
Lotte asked the still recovering, out of breath Furgaku. A few more minutes passed, and Furgaku’s breath finally calmed down enough to properly speak, and respond to Lotte’s question.
“Why- no; how did you get a card, and how are you a noble?! I thought you didn’t have a human name!”
“Hmph, rather than shouting at me, you should be thanking me. I made the card using magic, back in the other realm, to become anything I wanted it to be. I also made you one too, and don’t worry; I have permission from the Syland Kingdom. Nobles have a lot of respect and live in luxury. It should be easier to find your father since we can use connections. I did my homework on humans for three centuries already; I know their social structure inside and out.”
Although Lotte had a good point, Furgaku still decided to punish her by flicking her forehead.
“Ouch! What was that for?”
“Just something my father used to do to punish bad kids. In hopes of your rude attitude, and fraud committing past going away.”
“Wha-!? How is that fraud! Here, let me flick your forehead in hopes of your stupidity going away!”
Dodging Lotte’s attack, Furgaku drops his face down on a pillow and went straight to sleep, making Charlotte unable to flick his forehead.
“Hey! Where am I supposed to sleep?”
“On the floor.”
“How about YOU sleep on the floor! I need to sleep on the bed to maintain my beauty! And you’re just a normal human compared to me- hey! Are you even listening!”
Furgaku’s consciousness faded along with the useless mumbling of Lotte in the background.
