From the rooms of one of his sons of Ivan tepish dracule, A loud eerie voice of crackling and screaming was echoing throughout the entire estate of the Dracule family. A burring dark rift walker was screaming in pain as a white color fire was continuously burning it down. The rift walker was a 9ft tall Skelton with rags of black and white having glowing yellow eyes.
Ray was holding his sister in his arms with a horrified and astonished expression. Lilly was terrified by the sounds and continued to struggle in his arms. Her eyes and ears were covered by rays to not let her see the monster.
“WAAAA”
Lilly could not stop crying and continued to struggle in ray arms trying to break free.
Ray was too busy trying to think at this time not noticing Lily. He had his senses completely overclocked watching the monster without even blinking, a serious threat to both him and her was just standing there. With jumbled-up words, Lilly said to Ray.
“Let Me goooo big blotre. Im scareddddd. ”
The white fire was flickering, signaling its slow demise. Ray noticed this in the brief moments he took his hand off Lily. He turned to face her, locking eyes with her, making sure she didn't see the grotesque and terrifying dark rift walker behind them. They were sitting on the bed, and Ray tried to calm down Lily, who was sobbing uncontrollably. He smiled and gently patted her head, which helped her to calm down a bit.
Meanwhile, the dark rift walker was wreaking havoc in Ray's spacious bedroom, destroying everything in its path. It was writhing in agony, with the dying fire failing to quell the pain it felt. Its once-glowing eyes were slowly losing their luminosity. Some small parts of the creature's robes and bones turned white before slowly crumbling to dust. The dark rift walker let out a blood-curdling scream that echoed throughout the room. It fell onto its knees, still wobbling from the aftermath of the white fire
“YOUUUUU. YOUUUU ARE A THREAT TO US ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. AAAAAHHH”
Without batting an eye at his statement Ray continued to console Lilly as she even had hiccups because of fear.
“Lilly There is a monster here. Just stay here on the bed and don’t leave my sight. Big Brother is going to protect Lilly. Close your eyes and count to 20”
Ray tried to calm Lily down. The white fire had died out. The skeleton was motionless on its knees. Lilly slowly started to regain her composure but in an instant, she saw the grim figure of the dark rift walker in full display on its knees. The thing that haunted her dreams and the reason she was sick. Ray did not know her circumstances as he did not have the full memories of the previous owner of his body (the original Rayhein).
An absolute chill ran down Lilly. She completely broke down in tears.
“WAAAA”
Seeing her like this made Ray completely hopeless. She was too terrified to even respond. Ray was thinking in his mind for a second. Ray was getting seriously annoyed as to why he could not remember everything. He could not understand if her being this terrified was the result of something in the past. for a moment he wondered what happened to Lilly.
[FUCKKK. Did she have trauma because of that thing? Lilly please just calm down. What happened to her? Did she not calm down a second ago? SHIT!!!! PLAN B Stall for time or just get it out of here. I’m getting a serious chill from that thing.]
The dark rift walker was slowly regaining composure standing up its eyes still did not have the glow but Ray was not going to wait any second longer. He sprinted at full speed toward the thing.
“I’m not stupid enough to give you any more time.”
"I hope Lily does not leave the bed. I need to get this thing out of here. I can’t even sleep in fucking peace. This is definitely that fucker that attacked the previous Ray and killed him." Ray thought
With a forceful step that dug into the hard rock floor, Ray lunged forward, picking up his pace tremendously. He then launched himself into the air, creating enough centrifugal force to deliver a devastating spinning kick that shattered the dark rift walker into pieces. The skeleton was caught off guard, still recovering from the white fire and trying to stand up.

A loud "THUD" echoed through the room as Ray's full strength connected with the creature's chest, sending it flying into the wall.
“ Boom, Splatter”
The impact was immense, causing the wall to crack in several places, and the entire room shook. The dark rift walker's body was buried deep into the wall, its pieces splattered all around the room.
Lilly was still crying but when she saw what had happened to the monster. She stopped slowly as she saw his big brother kicking it away. It gave the little lily some relief from her terror. Lilly's eyes met with ray. She still had tears but she was holding them a little.
Ray glanced at Lily one last time to see if she was ok. Lilly still looked terrified and sacred. Ray was just glad she did not leave the bed area. Standing up he felt extreme pain in his legs.
“Shit My leg”
Ray felt that he had fractures because of the kick. In his mind, he thought
"That thing is too dangerous even kicking it hurt me more. It is far too durable. My sixth sense is telling if that skeleton stands up he will 1000% die along with Lily. Fuck it I’m ramming your ass through the wall. I can’t count on reinforcement. It will kill us by the time before they come." he concluded in his mind
He put up a battle art stance and ran towards the monster just bearing the pain in his right leg. Coming within feet as he rushed, he swung a powerful right karate punch with an improved posture that he learned in hybrid martial arts. Ray bet everything on the fact that he would find guards below if he punched this thing out of there.
“Crack Crack Crack”
The punch landed on the skeleton and the 3 feet thick concrete wall was destroyed with a single devastating punch launched by ray in the skeleton's stomach area. Ray had completely broken his hand after landing the punch. The skeleton was falling but its eyes socket glowed yellow as it finally regained consciousness. Before falling nearly falling it grabbed rays leg in a split second.
Ray had one thought on his mind
[That thing grabbed my foot. I'm so dead.]
Both ray and the dark rift walker fell from the 2nd floor of the building to the ground.

Hans had left rays room and was going to report to Ivan. Knocking in his quarters. He awaited the conformation to come in
“Come in”
“Pardon my intrusion”
Ivan was working on some documentation and saw Hans enter the room.
Ivan looked at hans as he came and stood in front of his table. Ivan had a scowling expression on him as he confronted hans.
“Why did you do it? Why did you have to make such a scene at that sky festival?”
Hans already expected what he was talking about. He was going to be questioned about it eventually and now was the time to be truthful.
“My sincerest apologies. I did not expect this would have such consequences. My task was to save both ray and avan. I failed at that as well. I have made a mess. I am sorry Ivan. I did not expect the city council to be involved in it this much.”
Ivan face after hearing his explanation his expression mellowed down. With his hands, he rubbed his eyes in a little disappointment.
“The entire city is in an uproar about what happened. You killed more than a few dozen sky fish and several witnesses confirmed it. Usually, the knight takes care of the threat to the city. Why did you interfere? We are new here. You know how this entire Unix kingdom loathes our race. Even if you had good intentions the city council is demanding an explanation now. Your display of power threatens their position and rule. You should have just stayed close to ray and avan. Whatever we do we cannot change their minds Hans. You know that right?”
Hans was sad to hear Ivan say that. He did not want to be a burden to the one man that saved his life and his family's lives. He owed him a lot. It was one of the reasons hans wanted to serve his family. Hans still wanted to improve the image of their race.
“I’m sorry for acting with my selfishness. I just wanted better to help my fellow citizens. Our image is already bad. Maybe this gesture would have helped lift the dilemma. I did not think this through. This caused more problems.”
Kneeling on his knees hans truly was sorry for what he has done. Tilting his head to the ground. He just felt too bad. Ivan always helped him more than he could ever repay. It pained him that he was not that useful.
Ivan stood up and faced the window looking out of it and seeing the city in view. His estate was on a hill so it was a great view of the city.
“Let bygones be bygones. We will deal with the situation somehow. don’t blame yourself. You are just a kind man. Our moral standing is different from our own people. We both lived on the outskirts of the main city in our kingdom. Ever since we escaped our fallen kingdom it has been hard to adjust."
With a pause, looking out the window he talked again
“We have the sigma of slave traders. Our people were truly monsters. You should not expect other races and even other humans to change their views. We have centuries of history of being a race that enslaved others. The concept itself was abolished and many kingdoms banned it outright. Yet our empire had slavery as its entire economy. We were doomed to fall”
Ivan had a sad expression as he recalled his memories.
“We can’t even hide among other humans. Our physique and hair color always remains the same. Complete pitch black with red eyes. Our average height is 7ft. Many sacrifices were made and we got sanctioned by this kingdom since I had some connection in trading. We are not welcome here Hans just accept it. We never will be accepted. The grudges run too deep.”
Hans placed his hands on his shoulder and made him stand up.
“Let’s just think of a way to tackle this situation. Avan and Ray are fine. They will heal in no time. I know you protected them. You would never endanger their lives. I have to be hard on them because they will face a lot of struggles trying to adjust here. They need to grow stronger. You did well and protected them from serious harm. I had informants that told me the whole ordeal of what happened. They nearly jumped to save Ray in one instance ignoring my orders but decided not to as Ray survived a near-death experience. Ray changed a lot after that incident. hopefully, he will find his path in life. ”
A serious tone shifted the conversation.
“Did you find that summoner? That rift we found has continued to expand near the estate"
With a serious expression and concern
“The estate personal guards have looked everywhere but we have yet to find that thing. It’s clever. After hurting ray it just disappeared.”
Disrupting the conversation was a loud sound of eerie voices that was heard by both of them.
“What was that?”
Ivan interjected with his voice.
“That came from the hallways near Ray’s room.”
Hans immediately ran out of Ivan's office trying to reach rays room. A few guards that heard the loud voices patrolling the hallways also ran behind him to accompany him. Following the voices towards Ray’s room.
Ivan also did not waste time. the sound was too familiar to him. It was the sound of a dark rift Walker
Talking out his sword from his sheath was going to go to rays room as well then suddenly
A Loud sound and a reverb were felt in the walls as if something hit them with incredible force. He looked out the window if something struck his estate but he found a figure and ray falling. He immediately broke the window and jumped down as well
