Sara’s POV
What the hell was that? That NPC seemed weird, well whatever I bet it is part of the game. Though there haven't been a lot of spoilers on gameplay and content the actual story is a mystery. My guess is early to mid-game is about getting enough power to challenge the tower thing then late game would be the tower and heaven or something like that.
Still what a douchebag, why is it that men are so greedy though I’m sure with that face he needed money just for a women to look at him. Also, what the fuck gods actually letting a mortal easily following you to heaven and letting him corrupt it. This seems like it’s their fault for not have a proper security system, I think they need someone that will stop eating cheesy fries and do their job, but that just my opinion, also the truth.
Away back on topic, in front of me was a white space with a character creation menu. It first asked me if I want to use my real appearance and I touched the yes option. About a meter away from me a copy of my body appeared.
Hmmm
I studied my body thoroughly, maybe I should lose some weight I think my belly is less flat than before. Well whatever, I touched the finished button and moved on to the class selection page. In total, there are 15 classes to choose from each one balanced so one class isn’t overpowering the others. Still, there is a way to start out OP that is through the unique feature of this game, multi-classing. A player is allowed up to 5 classes which can be mixed and matched in any way.
Of course there are pros and cons to multi-classing, the cons are that at 5 classes you require 100% more experience to level. At the beginning that doesn’t sound too bad, but once you get to the late game or even mid game, you will need to work twice as hard as others to keep up. Although it is difficult, it’s not impossible to do if a player has above average skills. The answer for this problem is soloing or in our case just the 2 of us grinding to level. The reason is the fewer party members you have in a party, the less the XP is divided. So if we could take down a boss that takes 10 people to kill then, we would each receive 4 people worth of XP.
That being said the pros of multi-classing outweigh the cons at least in my opinion. At 5 classes the player each time the player levels the increase in stats is doubled as well as the skill points they can use to obtain or upgrade skills. Not to mention that their flexibility in battle is increased exponentially, with 5 classes that means 5 times more skills than others that can help a player adapt to the situation at the time.
Of course, not everyone has the skills to attempt this. One must be able to effectively combine each class together so nothing is wasted. Not only that, but the player must be able to solo or have a small team to fight at areas higher than their level to gain enough experience to not be left behind. If the player isn’t skilled enough, then the mixture of classes could end up a mess. It is some that involves high risks, even my brother and I are nervous if we can pull it off, but the reward of success would be standing on top. At the max level, level 1000, our stats and skills will be a dimension above others, so we think it’s worth the risk. The only ones that could stand a chance would be others that had 5 classes. Even then, we were the best tag team in Records and that was when other players were equal to us in terms of equipment and skills. What let us stand on top was our near perfect teamwork, playing off each others strengths and covering the others weaknesses.
With that in mind, I decided to be the ranged DPS, healer, and support as always while Will is going to be a tank and close range DPS. So the classes I chose were; Sorceress for DPS, Priest for heals, Enchantress for Buffs, Witch for Debuffs and CC, and Necromancer of sustain and OT with the undead I can summon.
(Note: DPS – Damage Type Class or Role, CC – Crowd Control, OT – Off Tank)
My brother wasn’t really going to have a tank class, but instead high attack and agility. A tank doesn’t really need to take damage it only needs to keep aggro and keep the enemy off me. Of course, he will have taunts to keep the enemy’s attention on him.
The classes he chose were; Weapon Master as the key point since it has a skill that will allow him to use any skill with the weapon of his choice. What I mean is that if a skill requires a dagger or sword by having the Weapon Master’s natural skill < Weapon Adaptation > he can use his weapon of choice, a spear instead of a dagger to perform the skill. Next was Dragoon since it is a class that uses spear related skills he plans to use it as his core class. His third class will be Assassin for quick kill skills and high mobility, the fourth is the swashbuckler since it has many skills that increase his stats and causes debuffs on enemies.
The last class took some time, we spent hours planning and debating. Finally we discovered the perfect fit for the last class. Tamer, the reason was simple, this class can tame any none humanoid monster this included BOSSes. Because by mid game a Tamer could have up to 2 pets with him at the same time, just think if both of those pets were tamed BOSSes. It is a class that has a lot of potential, but it is not broken. The types of rankings of monsters goes from the weakest; Normal, ELITE, Quest BOSS, Wild BOSS, Dungeon BOSS, and Raid BOSS, then they have tiers; White, Black, Purple, Gold, Lord, King, Demigod, God, and High God.
When you think about it, over time it will become harder and harder for Tamers to get better pets since each reach rank up the chance of success to tame a BOSS drops by 5% and with Raid BOSSes chance of success starting at 50% that would mean a High God Tier Raid BOSS would only have a 5% chance to be tamed. Also who is going to give up a Raid BOSS, raids take time and effort to organize not to mention cost quite a bit to gather the supplies such as potions, negative status recovery times like antidotes for poison, and various other items to ensure success. After all that why would anyone let the BOSS be taken from them?
But again my genius of a brother found that, with the right classes and taking the right skills it would be possible to do a 2 person raid that should take 50 people. But that idea just like most of our plans is just theories that need to be put into action.
Never the less, until I enter the game.
Having finished confirming my classes, a list of beginner villages appeared. Scrolling down I found the one we chose beforehand, Cram.
Touching the name the system asked if I was sure that Cram was the village I really wanted. Without hesitation I tapped the yes option, instantly the white space flared with blinding light and I heard a voice welcome me by the name I had chosen for my character.
“Welcome, Smiling Fox to Tower to Heaven may your journey end in victory.” [Game Narrator]

Will’s POV
Finally, I finished making my character, Gluttonous Wolf. When the blinding light faded I stood in a small village that had 5 houses, a forge, and an open stall that looked to be selling potions and food, and a shop with a wooden sign that had a wand carved into it.
This is one of the 20 starting villages that are scattered across the map. Each village should be packed with players since it was announced over 1 million people preordered TTH. In the crowd, I couldn’t find my sister so I did was open my friend list and a long blue flat window popped up. I touched the add friend option and searched for Smiling Fox, quickly I found her name. I sent a friend request, not even a second later she accept the request, I then sent her a party invite which she also quickly accepted.
I then entered the party channel which let me speak to her with some that would be classified as telepathy.
{Hey, did everything go well?} [Wolf]
{Yeah, no problems.} [Fox]
{Good, meet me over by the blacksmith.} [Wolf]
{Sure, I’ll be there in a second I need to use my skill points.} [Fox]
{Same here} [Wolf]
(Note: {} means they are talking in the party channel)
I opened the avatar menu and a list of options appeared.

I opened Character Info and felt very satisfied.

Damn my stats are twice the amount of a player with only the dragoon class this is better than I expected. High Strength growth, high Agility growth, high Dexterity growth, and decent Defense growth. With a bonus of being able to learn a few aggro related skills the dragoon makes for the perfect core class. The core class is what stats growth is based off of so I will grow like a regular Dragoon only my stats will increase twice as fast.
I then moved to opened the skill page, it was split between each class so I looked at a time careful picking my skills.

Alright this looks good, I tapped the confirm button and my Skill Points were spent.
Each Lv1 skill cost 3 skill points and normally a player will start with 15. But both Fox and I start with 30 not only that but each time we level we get 6 stat points instead of 3. While each class has 5 skills until you reach level 20 right now I chose the best skills to start out with. I plan to get a few more than start upgrading them, but i can’t upgrade them until level 5.
With everything in order I look at my gear. There are slots; head, chest, cape, shoulder, hand, waist, legs, and feet. There are also 8 ring slots, 2 trinket slots, a necklace slot, and earring slot. Man so much gear to get, right now all I have is a [Noob Spear] that has no effects, it deals 2 – 5 but since I have a + 7 damage from my skills and for every 10 strength I get another +1 I get +3 from my current strength.
Ok so how stats effect battle performance is like this.
10 Str = 1 damage
1 Vit = 10 HP
15 Agi = 1 Movement Speed
20 Dex = - .01 attack speed
2 Physical Res = 1 Defense
2 Magic Res = 1 Magic Defense
Spell Power affects damage and effect duration of spells
1 Intelligence = 10 MP and 1 mana regeneration for minute
1 Luck = 10% critical damage, this stat does raise naturally only from items
As for hope from what I read is that I increases your drop can and rare rating also with other things. I don’t know much about it, since not much was leaked about it other and the drop and rare rating increase and that it is important to the game’s story. Looking at my “armor” all I have was a pair of [Noob Pants] that gave +1 defense and a [Noob Tunic] that add +2 defense.
Making my way through the crowd I managed to make it to the forge. The sound of metal being hammered and the smell of smoke drifted in the air. Looking around I saw Fox approaching and waved, then flinched while cursing the game developers. She had the same noob gear as me except that the tunic showed more chest than mine and the pants were more like hot pants while my went below the knees. She was already getting looks from several male players, but I shot them a glare and they turned away.
{It seems like you’re already pretty popular.} [Wolf]
I looked back and stared at the direct of a man that was drooling while looking at my sister. He stiffened and I thought I heard him say “demon”, while he turned away.
{Brother you’re producing a murderous aura right now} [Fox]
I turned to Fox and put on a meek smile.
{Sorry, but you know how I am.} [Wolf]
{Yes you are the overprotective brother, now let’s go accept a few quests.} [Fox]
We made are way through the mass of people towards and old man with Village Chief Lv 10.
“Hello, young one do you have time? If so, I need some things done.” [Village Chief]
Without warning a green window appeared in front of me and Fox. Looking over the green window that suddenly appeared in front of me I saw there was 8 quests. 1 red quest, 2 yellow quest, and 5 green quests. The color of the quest is displayed in shows the difficult to the player, with green being easy, yellow being somewhat difficult and red meant you may not ready for this quest just yet but you could still accept it.
I decide to take the red quest, the 2 yellow quests, and 1 green quest. The red quest had us go deep into the forest outside the village and obtain 20 wolf claws. The one of the yellow quest had us gather 40 milk grass, while the other required us to collect red capped mushrooms. The green quest was simple good outside the forest and not far in we had to kill 15 horned rabbits.
{Can we go now, I feel creeped out from all the stares.} [Fox]
{Yeah let’s go.} [Wolf]
we left the village in a hurry to escape the disgusting stare and more importantly to take are first steps into this new game.
{Agh!} [Wolf]
{Hahaha, brother you need to be careful.} [Fox]
Sadly my first step ended with me falling on my face.

Fox’s POV
Immediately after we left the village my brother’s face kissed the ground. I could help but laugh since he had a dramatic face on probably thinking of some cool line.
Anyway, I guess it’s my turn to show my character stuff.

The way I plan to play is obvious, using the skeletons to defend me I can Debuff enemies and increase the deadly of Wolf. Not to mention I can heal him and if need deal damage. From the research we performed, we found that the Sorceress has the highest burst damage if they go along with only fire spells. Another plus is that the level of power skeletons summoned from
Anyway enough gloating, it’s time to hunt rabbits.
After Wolf had picked himself up, we started walking towards the forest and along the way we chatted.
{No I think the golden curry is the best thing at Sally’s hands down.} [Wolf]
{Oh, my naive brother it is obvious that the steak burger with salsa and bacon is by far the best.} [Fox]
{Oh, really?} [Wolf]
{Yep!} [Fox]
We stopped and stared at each other for a short time.
{Haha, you blinked the steak burger reigns supreme!” [Fox]
The place we were talking about was Sally’s Dinner one of the only spots we will go out to visit when we want food. I knew my brother wanted to argue, but he sighed and shrugged.
{Yes yes, now let's hurry up.} [Wolf]]
Only a few minutes away from the village was the edge of the forest. Even at the edge small brown rabbits with unicorn horns hopped around. Along with the rabbits, numerous players were fighting with the little furry animals.
{All of these rabbits are level 1, let’s head deeper and hunt some stronger ones.} [Wolf]
{Right} [Fox]
We ran passed the players and horned rabbits entering the forest. Inside there were far fewer players and the rabbits we found were level 2 and 3.
{Okay, we just have to kill 20 of these guys, this will be easy} [Wolf]
Without warning my brother lowered his body and rushed towards a level 3 horned rabbit. To our surprise, the furry creature was faster than expected and barely managed to hop away in time to dodge Wolf’s spear.
Instantly my brother responded by thrusting his spear into the ground and using the momentum of his charge along with the spear as a rotation point curved and redirected himself to aim a kick at the fleeing creature. A red 12 floated above the animals head indicating damage as the kick sent it sprawling across the forest floor. Without missing a beat, Wolf’s body moved towards the rabbit that was just getting up and pierced its skull with the spears tip. A yellow 22 floated up, yellow meant it was a critical hit. Just like Records, there is no crit chance the only way to land a crit is to hit a weak point like the head, throat, or heart. Although on some monsters those spots do count as weak points so they have to be found. Wolf stabbed it one more time drain the last of the horned rabbits HP.
{I guess these rabbits have around 50 to 70 HP, so a crit show skill most of them.} [Wolf]
{Let me try!} [Fox]
I turned to face another horned rabbit and raised my hand then casted
When the little brown rabbit died it let out a loud screech, before slumping down to the ground with its head smoking. I went and looted both rabbits getting 5 small Bon.
Bon is the currency of the game and is split into 3 types; small Bon, big Bon, and Bon ingot. 100 small Bon is worth 1 big Bon, the same for big Bon and Bon ingots.
After those two horned rabbits it took an hour to kill 10 more, the reason was there were so many players. The rabbit population was decimated and even if we could find one most of the time someone was already was starting to fight it.
{Brother this looks bad.} [Fox]
{We’ll then let’s resort to plan B, PKing!} [Wolf]
