I can't believe I've missed an established deadline twice now before getting to the end of the first arc, I should only be like, ten chapters away at most! Surely! Whenever I finally enter my end of arc one editing and backlog creating hiatus, I'm taking at least a solid 26 weeks/half a year off to make sure I get it all done BEFORE the deadline. Maybe longer if I can't finish the arc by the end of this year.

As someone who checks on my webcomics and webnovels pretty frequently whenever I expect a new chapter to be out, and who gets excited having a new chapter of a story to look forward to, I never wanted to be someone who disappears randomly for long lengths of time, or otherwise takes super frequent breaks from the schedule with my own writing, but I apparently have a lot of work to do before I can be the type of writer I want to be.
