Well, we're looking at about 60k words done so far - about 50% done on the manuscript. As before, I'm planning about 120k Words, but life has a way of... Growing those numbers. It'll probably be about 130 or 135K, the same as or a little longer than Book 1.

It is shaping up to be something akin to Book 1 (Go figure) in pacing and in content - it covers a few short days in the first half of the book and then a week or two following. We see a lot more from Helsket, Mikel and Metrike comes in with a lot more content. We also meet some new characters and I'm planning on having Calcifer show up along with some stuff from his apprentice.

I've got some good things planned to show you guys and I'm sure you'll be entertained - I know I'm having a great time writing this. It's definitely more punchy than the previous book and the pacing and combat is WAY bigger, faster and stronger. We see Mikel and Helsket get some serious punches in and how strong they're going to be.
