“bye” I said to my friend while walking away, smiling, before that faded to blankness.
Walking to home would always show me the loneliness I surround myself with. Not being close with others makes me feel safe.
Reaching home again, doing the same as usual, before going to bed and falling asleep.

The wasteland surrounds me again, I could see the figure in the distance more clearly.
“Who are you?” I said to him, not expecting an answer.

“no one.” but surprisingly I got an answer from the figure.
“But why.”
“I lost who I am.”
“How?” I asked in curiosity.
“No one was ther-” but he got cut off before he could answer me.

Waking up wasn’t easy for me, the fact that I have to be near others disturbed me to no end, but there was nothing I could really do, I just had to deal with it. I get up and get ready.
Finishing, I walked out and went to school. There was no one to talk to on the way but I enjoyed it. It was empty and lonely but it was something I was used to at this point.
Reaching school, I went to my class and sat down. No one came towards me, but looked at me in disgust, it was a normal thing for me to deal with. Sitting there, waiting for class to start, no one came to me to talk, but seemed to stare at me instead like I was some form of animal in a zoo.
I ignored it and went into my thoughts. I almost got an answer but it was cut off again, in honesty I was surprised he even answered at all, but the end made me wonder what he was going to say.
‘What was that dream?’
