The same dream again, the wasteland filled as always and just as lifeless, as the figure could be seen there standing alone on the empty hill but he was just slightly less far away from me.

“Do you know what it means to stand here alone?” he asked me. I just nodded no, and he looked at me with nothing to say.

“What does it mean?” I asked.

“I will always be here standing on this empty hill.” he answered me, surprisingly.

We looked at each other with no other thing to ask. We just looked at each other saying nothing.

This silence was loud, the sound of the dust could be heard with sounds of a never ending clonk of a machine echoing through this land.

“Is this the path you want to go through?” he asked me calmly, asking as if the silence was meant to answer the reason for this question. I looked at him, wondering if this is true and he just looked back with a never ending steel gaze that I couldn't see but feel.

“No.” I answered firmly to him, and the answer caused me to see his face as if I just teleported in front of him.

He was of a darker color but didn’t seem as if he was someone of such places that would cause or originate this. He had white hair, like I thought, and a steel gaze that I had felt. He had an empty gaze that wasn’t visible on his face but I somehow felt this gaze on him.

“So this is the reason you are here.” he said as if answering himself. I only looked at him wondering what he was talking about.

“You remind me of someone i used to know, at least if i remember correctly” I just wondered who he was talking about.

“Do you remember when you asked who I was.” I nodded.

“Well, remember this. I am the guardian EMIYA” I was silent.

“I am the human-” I stopped feeling as if that wasn’t the correct thing to say, as if that was incorrect. Thinking for a while, he was looking at me waiting for me to continue, but I then continued. “I am an empty void.” this felt correct.” named Andrew Erebus.”

“Hehe,” he laughed. “Ain’t that something.” He looked at me.

“Remember, loneliness will bring you to despair.” he said, confusing me but before i could ask him what he meant. Everything turned to darkness.
