I planned to write another bonus chapter after this arc, so here it is. But what character can I write about without spoiling later events? Looks like Jackson's up. In all honesty, I've never much cared for this character. He's pretty generic in my opinion, just another OP MC to compete with the greats.
He's based on the normal "transported to another world only to become OP" protag I'm sure most are overly familiar with. Primarily, he's based on Arifureta's Hajime, the protagonist of that story. However, I've always felt that Hajime's disability got fixed too early. What's the point of losing an arm if he gets it back almost instantly? I fully agree with the criticism that he simply got fixed to early and became to powerful after leaving the first dungeon. But this is an analysis of another story, this is my thoughts on Jackson.

Jackson himself is pretty plain, almost a self-insert. Personally I don't envy my character, losing an arm and a leg with in the first few paragraphs, but here we are. One of my few complaints about him is he doesn't struggle enough, so in the rewritten chapters you can expect his life to become almost utter Hell. Or at least that is my current plans for him.
As for fixing him, well don't expect something for a while. I might fix his leg, but don't expect the arm to be fix until the last arcs. Thoughts on this matter are always appreciated.
As for his dialog, I got a comment a few weeks ago about how mean he is in an exchange with Barbara. The part he insults her while buying books. Personally I wrote that as a joke but I see how he can come across as an asshole. Maybe he is? Maybe I have a sick sense of humor, but it's definitely something I need to be mindful of in the future.
Well, thanks for reading this far. And, bye for now.
