Kara awoke to a *Tink tink* sound that wouldn't stop.

I opened my eyes to see Iggy with silverware and a metal bowl that was severely dented into a a rough state that would fit the club and several other metal accessories. she was currently banging a heavy pot into a similar shape with her club a determined look in her eyes as she shaped it to her specified shape.

Lucas on the other hand was on the foot of the bed with a pillow under his head taking half the bed being all stretched out.

I watched with wonder and a sinking feeling in my stomach as Iggy struck the pot into shape.

Iggy shook her head as if the shape was just right and began to fit the first bowl to her club and filled it with the silverware and other accessories. other than a round seal that was two peices of metal stuck together in a shape that looked like a scale of a dragon made metal.

after weighing the product Iggy stopped then grabbed the second bowl placing it atop the first finally getting a weird hammer shape then she set the seal in place Iggy's eyes glowed along with the hammer as it morphed into shape getting rid of the ridges of the bowls but a line signifying the different bowls and the seal pressing in to create her hammer.

I finally got out of bed after the spectacle "Interesting work Iggy although Mom won't be super happy about the missing mixing bowls or the silverware you took."

"Tink tinka tink." Iggy stated as if not caring for the consequences only saying her creation is all that matters.

Mom opened the door "Good morning Kara today is your leaving day right." Her eyes landed on the hammer widening in abject horror "My favorite pot and is that a bowl." Her voice sinking in frustration as she said it.

"Yeah Iggy must have left my room she actually woke me up. I don't think you will be getting it back and check the drawers she had a bunch of silverware."

Mom was shaking with her eyes closed trying to calm herself "At least it wasn't anything else I can replace the items in cities she best stay with you and not away from metal unless your buying it." She headed out the door then paused "Get up and get ready please return Iggy I don't want to lose my knives."

Kara got up and stretched then returned Iggy to her ball "Lucas get up its time for breakfast."

It took a moment at the mention of food for Lucas to get up and be at the door staring hungrily at Kara "Munch"

"Let's go" Kara walked out of her room following Lucas as he descended the stairs at a much slower pace.

Mom was making breakfast as I sat down at the table by Lucas who was sitting waiting in anticipation for breakfast.

"I thought you lived out on your own and not in a house Lucas."

He shook his head no to ever being in a house.

"Ok good to know. Today before we leave, I would like you to practice this move I read you can learn normally from a Tm." She then made a chopping motion. "The move is called Brick Break it will be useful in the first gym and eventually our journey through Mt. Moon."

Lucas considered for a moment then responded positively "Munchlax"

Mom then set a bowl of fruits in front of Lucas and my regular breakfast of eggs and bacon.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea Kara if I had to bet looking at that club you might be able to get Iggy to learn Rock smash"

"I will see if she can do it before we leave, I'm pretty sure she isn't a fighting type so like Lucas it will be hard to learn." Kara says with concern.

"Everything is worth a try even if it doesn't work a steel type move is probably the best choice for the coming up battle."

"Good idea Mom. I'll be off to test that theory."

Kara and team ended up on route 2 to a secluded area with several large rocks to test out moves on.

I pulled out my phone and pulled up a video of a fighting type using brick break and walked to Lucas to show him the video.

the video started off with the Machoke explaining how to use the move then did several demonstrations firstly breaking bricks then moving onto thrown balloons filled with powder to be flashy and finally the Machoke put its hands together and bowed.

Lucas was enamored with the video.

"Lucas I recommend that you start by focusing energy into your hand before chopping the stone to break it in half."

Lucas grinned wolfishly as he began to prepare to attack the rock. It took several minutes till he chopped nothing happening not even a spark of light. He looked disheartened as he shook his hand.

"Keep trying I know you can do it to get to the top you should push yourself to become the impossible even if it means learning moves you can't normally learn without Tm."

Lucas considered the words said a sparkle in his eyes "Munch munchlax" he said as if to say he would take on such a challenge.

Kara walked away as he kept on trying failing again and again.

Iggy had watched the whole debacle happy to see Lucas going hard as she practiced Fairy wind it becoming harder to hold more than a few seconds at a time.

"Iggy stop practicing Fairy wind for now let's practice smashing rocks with that of hammer yours Iggy."

Iggy smiled then held up her hammer in preparation of smashing rocks.

"Do what's natural but try to focus your energy into your hammer before smashing it down."

Iggy did as she was told then with a faint red glow that was barely perceptible, she smashed down her hammer leaving a single small crack.
