POV 'Aurora'
A moment after the main meeting, Wyszynska logged into the 'Host' sub-group meeting and found herself in a minimalist room with no doors or windows - not necessary in a completely virtual room anyway.
The only piece of furniture was a large table in the middle - a standard model with a display in the top - the contrast to the previous location multiplied the impression they both made on her, but before she had time to think about its purpose, 'Nile' appeared - the same bald guy she had miraculously convinced through a conversation on some forum that she was needed in the team.
A second after 'Nile', an overgrown man in a bulky uniform jacket appeared, and this caveman immediately began to speak.
"We don't have much time, so let's skip the history lesson and go straight to the conclusions".
"Okay, let's start politically - the bald man replied.
Caveman coughed, took a breath, glanced at her - Aurora barely held back her disgust at the sight of his smile - the appearance of the Avatar did not necessarily mean that the real interlocutor was homeless, but still ... the impulse remained.
"Well, I'll give an abbreviation of internal politics, shout if I'm wrong somewhere,"
the tone obviously indicated that the caveman considered himself faultless.
"The country is a dictatorship pretending to be a republic - it is currently ruled by a 'sanation' that promotes loyal, non-brilliant officers."
This was followed by a 15-minute deluge of details about political parties and their organizations, none of which Aurora could remember, after which the caveman spent another 10 minutes discussing the degree of industrialization of the economy, surprisingly not even mentioning the army.
"Let's conclude in 36, the country is starting to go through another wave of industrialization, which will make it easier for us to enter industry, but it will be difficult to have a direct influence on the army and politics".
'Nile'
"I propose the creation of officer circles as a parallel system of influence on the army, as far as our seats are concerned I would also count on the influence of industry on the army."
Caveman
"we all agree well that's great"
'Nile'
"You already have a personnel list - who is the most troublesome?"
Caveman
"No, I haven't read enough yet - it's a lot of work, unfortunately."
-personnel lists, what are they talking about...-.
"Nile"
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
"Any conclusions from abroad?"
Caveman
"So the Germans are hard to derail - and it's impossible to get along with them.
As for the Soviet Union, well, they have purged themselves of competent people to the extent that it would be a pity not to fight with them - in fact, we can still spoil their relations with the West, but "...
'Nile'
"so I also agree that it is not worth it, it would close the Finnish way to peace".
-Finnish way? What kind of Newspeak is this? -God, what are they talking about?
Caveman
"Spain will be important is a potential wallet for us"
'Aurora'
"Spain a wallet?I do not understand what you mean by that"- Aurora lost control for a moment and spoke her thoughts aloud, admittedly in a whisper, but she still got the answer.
'Nile'
"Selling old weapons, since 36 there is a civil war there."
"Ah ok "- 'Aurora' burped in response.
Caveman
"The Baltic States are not important except as a potential route of communication if we combine something with Finland, but I think it is easier to create a supply route through Romania or Hungary."
'Niel'
"Yes, I would not even think about the northern route - but Hungary is an ally of Germany and historically the Romanian route did not work out or did you find out why?"
Caveman
"No, not yet, did you manage it?"
'Niel'
"No, it's quite complicated, but I'll find out. "
Caveman
"Well, we still have the Baltic Sea and Gdansk."
'Niel'
"I would treat it as enemy territory."
Caveman.
"We have good relations with Japan.
And as for the USA, we have a big Polonia that can support us financially and be a potential starting point ;)"
'Aurora'
"States as a starting point - can you start outside of Poland?"
'Niel'
"No... but, you know, you appear from nowhere and build industry - people are suspicious.
And we patriotically came from America to build a country.
It's just backstory, but it gives us moments of peace."
Caveman.
"Good..last of the politics:
France and Great Britain as our allies?"
'Niel'
"Yes..our allies"
A meaningful look between the two men, followed by a moment of silence.
The silence was broken, as usual, by the caveman.
Well, I don't see much work here.
"Basically just:
1 Personnel files
2 This southern supply route
3 Loans or other support from the USA
4 See if we can do or get anything from the allies."
'Nile'
...
"The British have always been hostile to us, preferring to support the Germans to balance out France.
and france, well it's france, nothing has changed. so for me these alliances are worthless and even harmful .... well maybe except for the loans from france."
'Aurora'
"Why do you think these alliances are "worthless and even harmful""
Caveman
"Why the fuck worthless? look at the map - I think you know where what is -."
Not only disgusting but also vulgar, she thought and looked at the map to see where France and Britain were.
'Aurora'
"... more or less... something I recall."
Caveman
"I don't believe it - she didn't even look at the map before the meeting - he said to Neil with a glare."
'Aurora'
" I found out just before the meeting, but I know where it is - but France, England never interested me" she said defensively.
Caveman
"Crap, what is she doing here anyway" he said looking at 'Nile'
'Nile' showed the map.
"As you can see, we're here, they're here, no common borders. "
'Aurora'
"Okay, but the Germans who attack us first have a second front with France -so why do you think it is worthless?"
'Nile'
"The Germans mobilize so much more efficiently than the French that they are able to deploy more units there despite the offensive against us."
'Aurora'
"even though these units are in the West and not with us - is this worthless?"
'Nile'
"Yes and no: the French mobilization does indeed attract German units, but whether there would have been a German mobilization without this alliance, we do not know."
'Aurora'
"Okay, I understand, and why do you think the alliance is harmful?"
'Nile'
"Historically, it hindered mobilization and limited possible strategies, as well as caused unhealthy self-confidence of Polish commanders."
As the topics came up, it became clear that Aurora did not have the knowledge to participate in the discussion, and the caveman became increasingly irritated until 'Nile' decided to end the meeting.
"I'll summarize the history for you, but YOU need to read a little on the topic"
Caveman
I'll do something useful like analyzing this southern supply route.
'Nil' briefly summarized the history of World War II and then in detail the 20 years between the wars: annexations and purges.
To 'Aurora's'question - why is she so disliked by the Caveman, she only heard that if she has a problem, she can solve it herself.
