As Tifara and her friends entered the library, they looked around and saw students either wandering in the library or reading their books. The students whispered with one another. The librarian sat at her desk, surfing through the web.
Tifara gasped quietly as she moved her eyes sideways. Wow, this place is still as good as last year's. It's amazing, she thought with her mouth open. Then some students behaved the same way as those in the cafeteria did except in whisper.
Tifara frowned and held onto her necklace tightly. She put her head down. Oh, man. Not this shit again, she sadly thought. Ugh! When will this shit end?! How much longer will it have to take for my sufferin' to end?!
Tifara's friends growled at their enemies, and May tapped on Tifara's shoulder and looked Tifara in the eye. She leaned forward a little.
"Jus' ignore them and depend on Elohim for strength. Strengthen your faith," May whispered. "You can do this and you will win. Elohim will help you through this. Trust in Him."
"Yea!" Sam and Dalila also whispered, giving her their reassuring smile.
Tifara smiled back at her friends. "Thanks, you guys," she whispered, "I really appreciate what you've done for me."
"Don't thank us," her friends whispered, "Thank Elohim. He did this for you."
"Yea, I guess you're right," Tifara whispered, "I'll thank Him for this."
"Now that's the spirit, Tifara," Sam whispered with a smile.
She looked up at the ceiling and smiled. Thank You, Elohim, for bein' there for me through my friends. Please continue Your work through and through. In Yeshua's name, Amen, she thought. As soon as she returned her attention to her friends, Dalila whispered, "So which book section do you wanna go to?"
"Well..." Tifara whispered, looking up at the ceiling with her finger on her chin. "I s'ppose we'll go to the Fiction section."
"Okay, we'll go there together," May whispered.
"Yea!" Sam and Dalila agreed as they, May and Tifara headed their way towards the Fiction section.
While some students kept misbehaving towards Tifara, Tifara maintained her determined look on her face. Keep on goin', Tifara, she thought, Jus' keep on goin'. Elohim's on your side after all.
Once Tifara and her friends made it to the library, they scanned the books around them. They individually pulled out books that interested them except Tifara. She just stood there and looked around through the shelves, searching for David.
She realized that David wasn't around yet. Hmmm...looks like David's not around yet, huh? She thought, Well, I guess I'm gonna keep lookin' at these books.
They looked through books more and more often until Tifara finally spotted David in the library entrance far away from her. David scanned his surroundings while people walked past him.
Okay, great. He's here. I wonder what he's up to now, Tifara thought as David was about to turn his attention to her. Luckily, she kneeled down just in time before David spotted her.

After a while she stood back up to see if David was still looking around. She instead saw him talking to the librarian, sighing silently and out of relief. Phew! That was a close one, wasn't it? She thought. Alright, time to inform my friends of David bein' here.
She then turned to her friends. "Hey, you guys," she whispered while watching her friends skim through the books in their hands.
Tifara's friends just ignored her and kept skimming. "Pssst, you guys," Tifara whispered again, trying to get them to answer her call.
After they still didn't listen to her for the second time, Tifara gave her friends an annoyed look on her face. She quietly growled and gazed at them for a while, before she walked up towards them, tapping on their shoulders.
"Psst, guys!" Tifara whispered, tapping on their shoulders.
"Oh, huh?" Her friends responded, turning their attention to Tifara.
"I saw David in the library right now. Come look," Tifara whispered, dragging her friends near one of the book shelves.
When Tifara and her friends looked through the shelves however, they couldn't find David anywhere. Tifara widened her eyes as she couldn't believe it. No freakin' way! I literally saw David here and he's nowhere to be seen now all the sudden?! Like seriously?! She confusedly thought.
She wasn't the only one confused. Her friends were just as confused as she was.
"Um, what are you talkin' 'bout, Tifara? I don't see David," May doubted her best friend.
"Yea, me neither," Sam and Dalila agreed as the couple and May turned to Tifara, raising their eyebrows at her.
"Well, I did saw him enterin' in the library and talkin' to the librarian earlier. I really did, you guys," Tifara cried, frowning at her friends all the sudden.
Sam became skeptical with Tifara. "Are ya sure 'bout that?"
Tifara quietly growled at Sam with her head down and her hands clenched. "Yes, I'm certain he was right there. Now I don't know where he is. I know he's here somewhere. I saw him here."
"Well, let us know if you see him," Dalila said as she, her boyfriend and May returned to skimming through the books that interested them.
Tifara sighed and frowned at her friends. Oh, great, Tifara thought. I can't believe my friends missed seein' David. Now all I need to do is to find David and see what he does in the library all by himself.
She searched for David everywhere, but she still couldn't find him. Where are you, David? Tifara thought, I know you're here somewhere, broh.
Her eyes skimmed everywhere and still couldn't find him until she caught him standing at a corner in the Reading Area. The Reading Area consists of a couple of red modern looking chairs and smaller bookshelves. Two fifth year girls reading the books near each other, whispering to one another.
Oh, there you are, Tifara thought with a smile. I got ya! But I wonder why David's standin' there though?
She quickly turned to her friends, tapping on their shoulders, and whispered, "Guys, guys!"
"Huh?" They responded to Tifara's call, turning to Tifara. "Oh, what's up, Tifara?"
"I finally found David!" Tifara whispered, turning her head towards David, pointing her finger at him. "Look!"
Her friends turned to David and they were finally able to see him. They raised their eyebrows at David like he's some sort of a weirdo.
"Uh, why is David standin' there at the corner?" Dalila whispered.
"Yea," May also whispered. "That's jus'...so weird though..."
"Beats me," Sam whispered. "But I'm gonna find out." He turned to his friends. "You guys stay here"-he turned to only May and Dalila-"while you two protect Tifara while I'm away from y'all, got it?"
"Got it," all the girls agreed with Sam in a whisper.
"Good," Sam whispered, turning back to David. "I'll be right back."
As Sam slowly walked towards David, his sweat poured down on his face a little bit. The girls stood there and watched Sam leaning over David's shoulder and stood there watching for a while.
"Um, is David usually like this every day in the library?" May curiously whispered.
"Uh, probably," Dalila whispered back, moving her eyes right to May.
"Oh, I felt bad for him if he does this constantly though," May whispered.
Yea...Tifara thought in agreement. I really think we ought to help David...She moved her eyes left with her arms crossed. Even if me and David don't get along very well, which is frustrating for me. But how do we do that is a total mystery.
Sam quickly and quietly returned to his friends.
"Well?" Dalila asked in a whisper. "Did you found out why David was like this?"
"Yea..." Sam answered in a whisper. "But I could see why now..."
"Well, what is it then?" May questioned in a whisper, glaring at Sam with her arms crossed. "Spill it out then. We don't got all day, y'know."
"Hey, now be patient, May! Damn!" Sam whispered, glaring at May back. "Anyway, the reason David stood there by the corner in the Reading Area is..."
"Is what?" Tifara asked in a whisper. "Well, don't jus' stand there. Say somethin'."
"David reads lewd comics 'bout some sexy spy agents," Sam responded in a whisper.
The girls widened their eyes for a few seconds. No way! Tifara thought. Is that, like, for real?!
"You can't be serious," Dalila asked in a whisper. "Like is that for real?"
"Yes..." Sam responded in a whisper.
Mekurian Secondary schools banned any form of comic books, especially if they're problematic. They want people to continue reading books with mostly words, not from dialogue or side effects. That was where Light novels were the exception, due to being mostly worded books despite being related to comic books. Anyone caught with a comic book will receive an office referral.
"Okay, well. Let's come back here as well next week, yes?" Tifara suggested in a whisper. "I wanna observe David's behavior more, before we can come up with something to help him."
"Yea," her friends agreed in a whisper, shaking their heads as they put the books up except Tifara and left the library without even checking the book out.
