there were two kingdoms - the East Kingdom and the West Kingdom. The East Kingdom was ruled by a royal family consisting of a King, a Queen, and a Princess. The West Kingdom, on the other hand, had a King, a Duke (who was the King's brother), and a Lord (who was the Duke's son). They had been at war for fourteen years, and the two kings reluctantly agreed to peace at the cost of getting the East King's only child to hold the West King's hand in marriage. They have only thirty days until the big day for the kingdoms.
