Hey everyone, I just wanted to say that there won't be any chapters posted for the next two weeks as I will be on vacation. I had hoped to have one ready for today but it just wasn't in the cards. Also, as we're coming to the end of this arc, I just want to throw it out there that I may take a longer pause once it's wrapped up. This series was very much inspired by the scene foretold in Professor Alrik's vision regarding Gabe and when I first started writing I had a pretty solid idea of how it was going to play out. During the process of actually writing out the chapters, however, I made some decisions that strayed away from that initial idea and now that the events of the scene are almost upon us, I'm realizing that the re-worked conclusion just isn't what I want it to be. Something I've struggled with since starting Threads of Power is writing the chapters ahead of time. With only a few exceptions, chapters are usually finished the day before or the day of, many times just hours before posting them. What this has meant is that I haven't really had the time to make sure everything flows together as a cohesive whole. My plan for while I'm on vacation is to write out the rest of the arc so that I can take the time to really make sure the ending both makes sense and is actually interesting. I'm committed to finishing this part of Gabe's story, but after that, I might take some more time off to better plan the next part of it. I'll keep you all updated with what I decide to do.
