Gabe Tonmor has a pretty good life. With his natural affinity for life magic, he’s been able to make a steady living as a healer-for-hire despite only knowing a single spell. He works with different adventuring parties as they scout out entrances to the hidden Dweller civilization, though he’s adamant that he’ll leave the tunnel exploration to the real adventurers. Things change when a research group requests him by name to journey with them deep within the Iochant mountain range in search of a repository of ancient magical knowledge. Caught up in a web of foreboding prophecies and conspiracies,  can Gabe defy the threads of fate and achieve his goal of becoming a Knotted wizard?  This is a progression fantasy web serial with gamelit elements that will become more prevalent later in the story. It has a bit of a slow start with heavy worldbuilding and magical lore in the beginning. The magic system is based around weaving threads of mana and that kind of imagery and metaphor is used extensively throughout the story. Updates are Monday and Friday at roughly 3 p.m. PST.  The tone is action-adventure with some slice-of-life coming later on. There is swearing, detailed fight scenes, some blood and gore, LGBTQ themes (the MC is gay), some romantic subplots (nothing explicit, no harems), and a heavy emphasis on the mechanics of the magic system. The MC is a bit naive at first as he doesn’t have much experience with the wider world so there are also some elements of coming of age as the plot develops. There is a weak to strong aspect but the MC won’t become OP. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I hope you all enjoy it!
