Thorn Arena

1. Sentence

Beatrice and the announcer rushed inside a big room with plenty of space. The size you would want fifty people to fit in one single pool! The door slammed shut behind them as the announcer dragged Beatrice into the courtroom.

The courtroom had a black marble floor and brown wood walls. It was the size of a single church! On the front stood a golden royal throne that was absolutely spotless. No one ever sat on the throne, except for the most important people (or rulers) of course.

When they were in front of the room, the announcer instructed Beatrice to kneel down before him. "Why would I kneel down before him?" Beatrice thought. "He wasn't a ruler or something like that! He was just an announcer! Or he can be an important person. Announcers are important people - right?!!"

Beatrice's thoughts were completely vanished when all of a sudden, the announcer started. "Beatrice, may I ask you a question? Are you ready for your sentence?"

Beatrice immediately whispered in an angry voice. "Not in front of my fucking dead body." The announcer gasped as she said this. He then had had enough. This was it. He was going to reveal what her sentence was. "YOU - ARE - A - DIS - GRACE!!!" The announcer was strict and harmful to Beatrice. In fact, he was so harmful and violent to Beatrice that he immediately sent Beatrice to the king of Thorn Arena.

"Your majesty! A girl decided to randomly quit in the middle of an arena bowl fight! She even swore at me! DESTROY HER!!! HAVE A WORD WITH HER!!! DO WHATEVER YOU CAN THINK OF TO STOP THIS BEAST!!!"

"Okay, okay. Calm down, please. I will deal with her myself. You can now feel free to leave the royal throne room, Luke."

As soon as the announcer stormed off in anger, the king looked at Beatrice and glared at her.

"Now, Beatrice. You've got some explaining to do."
