I continued climbing again in search of wild fruit and when I reached the second lowest branch, I could see some red colored fruit hidden behind the leaves.

Brimming with energy, I climbed the rest of it as fast as I could and got to the targeted branches. I looked at the fruit, it looked like an apple except it's more round and the size is as big as me.

⌜With fruit this big, i don’t need to worry about food for a while… ⌟

I picked 3 of it and put it in my inventory and tried to look for more of it atop of me hoping for more and I was in luck, I sighted a few more but it was green and yellow in color.I climbed to that branch and plucked all 5 of it.

Contented with the food, I climbed down to look for a river. After wandering in a circle for a while, I spotted wet soils ahead of me and suspected that there might be a water source nearby.

The day had become much darker when I started and now that dusk is coming, I rushed to the river for shelter from a potentially dangerous beast and environment that might kill. I safely arrived at the river… but, the river current is very brutal and it doesn’t seem possible to just cross it.

The dusk has arrived. I tried to look for a spot where I could take shelter but to no avail.

⌜I guess i finally need to learn how to use magic… maybe i can conjure a foundation using ice magic and the leaves i took earlier to make shelter and fire magic to regulate body temperature.⌟

⌜But how do i even do this … what a bind … ⌟

Just like in a fantasy novel, I gather my focus and try to feel maybe there’s something like mana flow or something. Surprisingly, i was correct and i could feel something else flowing within my body chaotically and thought that maybe this is mana.

With zero experience and knowledge, I gather my mana at hand and try to disperse it. at the tip of my finger, I could see fragments of ice forming. By gathering more mana, I was able to control my mana flow and freeze anything I touch though it’s slow.

I was able to create a foundation of a shelter with my ice magic, successfully. Placing the leaves carefully… my shelter is completed. Using the same method earlier, I used fire magic to regulate my temperature and maintain my control to make sure it’s not too hot or it’ll melt my shelter.
