Well, from where I should start?

A portal opening in the middle of the school? Magic suddenly appearing? Monsters on the other side of said portal?

Decisions, decision…

Oh well, let’s go from the start!

I don’t remember my name. I guess I’m 18 years old. Hobbies include murder of monster and reading…

Yeah, shitty introduction, I know.

Not my fault since I don’t remember most of my past.

Anyway, where was I? Oh right! Portals!

It all started a few days ago. It was a normal winter day, with absolutely no snow in the tropical country I lived. Hell, it was one of the hottest days!

It was the last week of school, everybody was crying, saying goodbyes for friends who they wouldn’t see anymore since it was the end of high school. Everybody was there, next to the cafeteria when a strange noise began.

It was quite high pitched at first, like a small girl scream. Then, it turned into something like a howling.

It was really, really annoying.

Then, the sound suddenly stopped and everyone was looking around, questioning each other about what just had happened.

They didn’t see the portal appearing.

It was just a dark blue dot. I thought there was something wrong with my eyes. But them it started to expand. It stopped when it reached one meter radius.

Then, it started pulsating, the color getting brighter and then back to the dark tone.

At this point, everybody had already noticed it.

Eyed filled with curiosity, we started to approach it.

And then, it exploded.
