As you have probably guessed, there is a different sort of ranking for beasts than there is for martial practitioners.
Since someone has requested it, I have decided to reveal the entire beast ranking system.
Strictly speaking, the beast ranking system is based upon two different things:
First, upon how much they were worth, in terms of payment for materials-this ranking system comprised the lower half of the ranking system;
Second, upon how much of a threat they are to the populace. - this ranking system comprises the top half of the ranking system.
Beast ranking System
Copper class: the elite among the normal beasts. Worth 1 copper coin
Silver class: those among the elites which have undergone a special evolution. Worth 1 silver coin
Gold class: Those rare elites whose hides, fangs, or claws are wanted for weapon-making. Worth 1 gold coin
Emerald Class: Elite animals desired for their fur. especially popular among the nobles, and very dangerous. No one who has not reached green class can defeat it, so it is considered a sign of great strength. Worth 1 emerald

Sapphire Class: Elite animal that is considered quite troublesome. No one who has not reached blue class can defeat it. Worth 1 sapphire
Ruby Class: Elite animal with a fire attribute. No one under 9th-level purple class can defeat it. Worth one ruby
Magic class: Those beasts which use magic to attack. Prices vary depending upon type.
King class: A ruler among elites. These fierce animals create their own domain and rule over other elite animals. Quite dangerous and sometimes intelligent enough for human speech. No one below orange class can defeat it.
Emperor Class: A ruler among rulers. These animals are dangerous enough to take on an entire country by themselves. Exercise extreme caution. It is suggested not to tangle with them unless one has reached brown class.
Sage Class: Highly intelligent animals/beings. The Black Class of the animal ranking system. Can level mountains and destroy kingdoms with its powerful attacks.
