Schedule Update

Ok, I really didn't want to do this, but at this point I feel like I have to. I'm gonna be changing the days I post (I'll update the main page when I settle on which days), and probably moving to fewer chaps a week. I have no intention of abandoning this work, but when I started I had a lot of momentum that carried me through posting five days a week, and that has gradually worn off as my ADHD caught up with me. It's getting harder and harder to figure out what to say in the chaps, which makes writing them take way longer than it should. I just spent 3.5 hours to do just half a chap, and that's not sustainable (especially with a job taking up most of my day), and at least part of the problem is that it has been messing up my sleep, which probably isn't helping the creative juices flow. That's a lot of why the latest chapters have been increasingly late even though I've still been spending time trying to keep up.

If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

So, I'm gonna change things to ease up the pressure and make it easier to get rest and sit down to write with actual ideas in my head instead of scrounging for every scrap. At the very least, it will give me more time to write each chap. Who knows, maybe it will actually lead to them being a bit better written, though I make no promises, lol.

Sorry to do this so early in the story, but, frankly, I'm shocked I made it through the whole writathon. This is the longest I've stayed with a writing project by a mile, so I don't want to lose it, but I also can't keep this pace, apparently.

Anyway, I'm rambling, so, I hope you understand, and thanks for reading, and hope you enjoy future chapters - even if they take longer now. Next chap might come out tomorrow, but I'd bet on Thursday. We'll see for Friday, and I'll try to figure out the new schedule over the weekend (I'm leaning towards M/W/F, but that might change. Let me know if you have a preference in the comments).
