“Welp, time for me to get to school,” he said as he quickly got up from his bed and started to head over to the bathroom to freshen up
Upon going to the bathroom, he noticed that the light was on
“Must have forgotten to turn the light off” Yami murmured, “My bills…” going to the bathroom and entering it to see that no one was there
Walking to the sink, he started to brush his teeth and wash his face
After doing so, he went out of the bathroom to get his fresh clothes from his closet from the living room and headed back into the bathroom, and once again no one was there
“*Sigh*” Yami sighed as he started to take off his clothes his shirt then his pants and following his underwear leaving his clothes on the floor and his fresh clothes on a rack, he opened the shower curtains, revealing Tena to be in the bathtub, holding on to all her clothes to her chest
“Heheheheh,” she said in an awkward smile
Yami who saw her in the tub closed the curtains and then opened them once he got his underwear back on
“What are you doing in my bathtub,” Yami asked closing his eyes after taking a glance at Tena
“Well...I was planning to take a bath, since we are living together and all, and when I was about to start bathing you woke up, so I quickly hid in the bathtub, to not get caught, but I didn’t anticipate that you were the morning shower type...” she said
“Well, I take a shower when I want to, now if you would kindly, leave so I can take my shower that would be great,” he said
“How about we take a shower together, “ she said as she scootched to the side to give Yami room to get in, but his eyes were still closed
“You know what,” Yami said
“You shower first and I will take mines later, “ he said as he closed the shower curtains, opened his eyes, and got dressed in his fresh clothes
“Wait, where are you going, aren’t you going to shower after me?” she asked
“Well, I have school to attend, now if you excuse me, I will now take my leave,” he said as he finished dressing and got out of the bathroom and grabbed his backpack as well as his weapons once again, and left the apartment and headed to school

Heading to school without any problems and went straight to his first period once he reached school and upon entering the classroom to his first period, he was met with Mr.Callon once again, along with the same classmates and seat
Mr.Callon, who spotted Yami’s confusion, then stated, “For those who didn’t know, we will be together for all periods until the end of the year, I will be taking in your care”
“Now we will resume, our history lesson,” Mr. Callon said as he returned to writing on the whiteboard, while writing Yami took his seat and quickly got out all the materials needed for the lesson
After Mr.Callon finished writing on the whiteboard, he turned around to face the class
“Today, we are going over the world’s greatest Legends, starting with the first Legend, Mia Luxem, who was announced to be the first Legend as she was the hero of the great Dimensional Disaster, which happened sometime between 2000-2004 and as you may know the Dimensional Disaster was the worst and largest dimensional crack that has happened ever. Next comes the handful of Legends who are currently the Headminister and Subminster of the DRC, the Dimensional Removal Corp., as they were the founders of the removal as well as the first group to rid of the cracks that happen all around the world” Mr. Callon said, “Any questions before we move on to the current Legend?” looking around the class to see if anyone had their hand raised
“No? Ok then moving on to the current Legend, who we don’t have much information on as it was told to be classified by the Headminister as said to keep the current Legend from being disturbed of his life, but we do know that he is male and is by far the youngest to achieve the rank,” Mr. Callon said, “Any questions regarding him?”
“Um, how come this person wants to be kept hidden?” Student A said
“I don’t know,” Mr. Callon said, “Probably to do something normal in his life, as Legends never get the chance to live a normal life or something
“Anyway, as for the remainder of the class, we will be doing self-study on the lesson on ranks, so that we don’t stir up any trouble,” Mr. Callon said as he sat on his chair and closed his eyes, while the rest of the class, started talking, while Yami was the only one studying
The ranks are in the order following: Rookie, Professional, Veteran, Master, and Legend with rookie being the lowest and legend being the highest possible. Dimensional rifts, cracks, and monsters are different exceptions as they are ranked by letters, F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS, and SSS+.
Cracks can be unpredictable as they appear randomly making them harder to scale, but usually, colors of the rift can help predict what rank they are placed at, following the spectrum scale of color. Red corresponds with the rank of F, Orange being at E, Yellow at D, Green being C, Cyan being B, Blue being A, and Purple being S or higher. However, there are some cases where a crack can be shown as black, usually indicating that the crack can be very easy or very hard, usually these cracks are to be dealt with by a couple of Masters or a Legend.
Rifts, on the other hand, are fixed locations, which make it easier to calculate and use, but its color is primary white indicating an unknown difficulty, it can be very dangerous going into an unknown rift, but rifts only go to a range of C-F difficulty, allowing anyone to enter safely without any worries, however, after each clearing, it the map can change, in about 5 different ways, introducing more replayability. Monsters can be easily identified by their marks on their body, the more marks, the higher the evolution, the higher the rank, as well as its power. It was also said that its rank can be determined by color, however, it was quickly discarded as many species can be multicolored and their color doesn’t correspond with their markings as well as difficulty in execution. Markings on the monster can be found in different parts of the body as it varies between species. Monsters would usually have stripes on their tail, stomach, back, or face to help indicate rank. Monster will always appear in rifts and cracks, and in every rift/crack has an A, B, or S rank monster as its “boss”. Upon defeating the boss, the crack will disappear and will kick the party out. Rifts will instead change color according to their difficulty and will remain active, while mysteriously respawning monsters and items for multiple clearings. Reasons for how monsters are respawned and evolve are currently unknown, but monsters going under evolution must be treated with caution as they can jump ranks as one evolves.

The bell then rang, after a couple of minutes of skimming and self-studying, in which everyone placed their history books away, clearing everything on their table, and sat there waiting for the next bell to come in. However, Tena, who coincidentally has the same name as the princess, came over to Yami’s desk slamming her hand onto his desk.
“How may I help you,” Yami said, looking up at Valentia, who was standing, while Yami was sitting
“Next period is going to be dimensional exploring, so how about we make a bet,” she said smirking
“If I win, you are going to be my slave, and if you win you get your choice of what you are going do with me,” she said with confidence
“Sure!” Yami said
Everyone then started to pass whispers around the class, “The new kid is done for now”, “Does he even know what rank, Tena is”, “Why did he accept the bet” and so on and so forth
The whisper quickly stopped as the bell rang and Mr. Callon decided to wake up at the same time as it rang
“Ok, time for my favorite period,” Mr. Callon said, “I also heard that a bet is going on, so that makes things twice as interesting”
“Now let’s start, heading over to the rift provided to us by the Headmaster,” he said as he got out of his seat, picking up his clipboard, and started walking out the door, followed with everyone else
