Infiltrating the North Dragon's Den (VIII) Sunlight!

Infiltrating the North Dragon's Den (VIII) Sunlight!

After saying those words in his language, bats emerged from his body. This ability completely drowned the Blood Dragon Alucard's Flow into the drain, but he didn't care. It will bring more Flow to him.

The bats were making them move farther away from Hein by annoying them, flying everywhere to suck their blood. Alucard was slowly walking toward the enemies.

"Shit, these things are annoying." They said all together.

Ross, Mike, and Bell were fighting the bats not to let them drink from their blood. After getting fed up, Mr. Old City destroyed all the bats surrounding him and approached Alucard.

James was fighting the bats when he saw a giant Vicious One fly to Hein Eduard. Bell noticed and said, "James, leave me to fight them, and you should go and help him."

Ross nodded and ran as fast as he could toward the blue gentleman before the bat could reach him. He quickly grabbed Hein Eduard before the bat reached him.

"Just hang on until we get out of here, so don't make it your final resting place!" He said to the blue gentleman.

After hearing what Ross said to him, Hein smiled and said, "Thank you (Cough), James. Thank you for thinking about me. I am losing so much blood I don't think I will survive."

James was angry about what he said, but Hein continued before he could say anything, "James, promise me you will save my sister from Seven Dragons of the Sea." He died smiling.

Ross was so focused on the bat that he noticed the blue gentleman, Hein Eduard, took his last breath.

"Don't die on me, Hein. You will survive and save your sister; hold on tight." Ross gently puts Eduard down, puts on his golden brass knuckles, and jumps on the bat, smashing its head into a pumpkin after he avoids its claws.

The smaller bats saw what had happened and tried to escape if Mike and Bell had stopped them. Shotgun shells and blades killed the bats. Alucard takes a deep breath after seeing his bats beaten without getting a single drop of blood, but he swings his claws at Bell.

Mrs. Old City blocks the attack and says, "You have no shame attacking an injured lady?"

Alucard laughed and replied, "You are an easy target." He said this while launching rapid-fire attacks on Bell.

'He's strong, and even his flow is drained.'

Bell thought while deflecting his attacks. Mike jumped to help his wife fight the Blood Dragon, but a Vicious One stopped him by slashing his skin, getting blood on its finger. Ross was also trying to help if small bats weren't surrounding him. Alucard summoned blood daggers from the Vicious One, consuming from Mike's wound. He sneakily attacks Bell's side but gets blocked by the woman, and from above, Mike fires his shotgun. Alucard got cut off guard and got wounded, pushed backward from the shells.

"Tsk, how annoying. Stop playing around, Vicious!" The giant bat was behind Mike and would kill Mr. Old City if Ross didn't jump up and smash its head into pieces.

Bell dashed toward Alucard and slashed the Blood Dragon, wounding his arms.

"D-d-Don't come any closer, y-y-you monsters!"

He started shaking from fear after seeing them beating him way badly, so he was crawling back when James, Mike, and Bell were coming closer to him. After a certain point, he got blocked by a wall; his body was shaking too much. Mike and Bell were going to finish him off, but Ross stopped them and fired a laser from his left arm, going above and breaking the ceiling and the top floor's window, which a shine of sunlight illuminated at the exact spot Alucard stayed. His Flow went into the drain.

"Ho-how did you know I was acting?!"

He started turning into ash from the sun. He would be alive if Alucard had never turned himself into a vampire.

"Your face told me you were not afraid but the opposite."

"James, how did you know he was a vampire? I never had guessed." Ross told him how he guessed when he saw Alucard had sharp teeth and drank their blood for Flow.

Suddenly, Bell screamed. They turned and said, "Bell-Bell, are you okay?"

"Mike and James, Eduard is de-de-dead." She trembled from putting words in her mouth, but in the end, "Mike and James, Eduard is de-de-dead."

Those words horrified Ross and Mike, and they rushed to where Bell was. Before they could grieve, the skyscraper collapsed, making them rush out.

Before Ross left, he picked up the blue gentleman's body and started moving. Eduard's body slowed Ross down a lot, but he wanted to bury his body properly without caring.

"James this way," Bell yelled, and Ross followed, avoiding falling debris from above.

When the three of them were about to enter the entrance of the stairs, the floor under them collapsed, making them fall.

"Not again," Ross said when he felt the ground crumbling underneath him. Ross's skin turned into nanobots after he smashed into the ground, saving himself and bringing Hein Eduard to safety. Mike fired his last shotgun shell, and he safely landed on the ground. His wife, Bell, stabbed the ground with her swords, saving herself.

They fell to the bottom of the underground skyscraper, where Alucard tied them.

"Is everybody okay?" Ross said, turning his skin back to normal.

"We are okay?" Bell said, and Mike asked, "How about you, James? Is Eduard damaged?"

"I am fine," Ross said. "Eduard is safe. I protected him from the fall."

"We have fallen too far from the entrance. Ross said. "We have to hurry before this building caves in."

They entered a stairway that led back to the lobby, where they entered the skyscraper. The building was shaking, making it unstable. With each step they took, the ones behind them broke apart.

"We need to?" Mike yelled in pain, scared Bell, and said, "Mike. Don't tell me... Why now? Why did your Flow drown now, Mike?!"

Bell ran back to Mike, picked him up on her back, and ran fast before they fell.

When Mike Old City's Flow emptied, his body returned to being old, and he couldn't walk because of so much back pain. When elders lose their flow energy, they return to their original state, meaning they no longer have a prime state. Mike is experiencing that.

Ross tried to carry Mike to help Bell from curring him, but Mrs. Old City said, "James, don't worry. We are okay. Go ahead." Ross listened to her and went ahead but was going slowly to see if nothing wrong would happen to them.

Mike felt guilty about his wife carrying him on her back while he was injured in a fight, so he asked, "Am I a burden on you, Bell?"

"I would not be your wife if I were a burden to you.

"What?!" Mike said.

They finally arrived at their destination; it was a close call for Bell, and Mike would almost have fallen if Bell hadn't jumped into the safe zone. They arrived in the lobby and needed to descend from the mezzanine to exit the skyscraper. However, that task proved challenging when the stairs were split in half. The building was collapsing quickly. Ross needed to hurry up to escape before it collapsed on itself. Ross put Hein Eduard on the floor, jumped from the railing, and shocked Bell.

James said, "Don't worry, I will catch you three."

"No, no, no, don't throw me, Bell."

Mike feared for his life when he was above his wife's head. Bell smirked and confidently threw Mike; for a second, Mr. Old City's soul raised. Lucky Ross catches him, and his energy returns to normal, making his body young again. Bell jumped down with the blue gentleman in her hands and said, "Let's go." They started running to the exit, and the building collapsed quickly. Bell, Eduard, Mike, and James escaped. However, debris fell from above, so they weren't safe yet. Many firefighters, police, and ambulances were around the building, not letting anyone get any closer to the skyscraper.

Suddenly, a mysterious man ran past Ross and others closer to the building.

"Aren't you-?!" Before Ross could speak, the man raised his wounded hand and said, "Paste!" From his hand, a black hole emerged and went flying toward the collapsing building, sucking falling debris, and when it got closer, it dragged Blood Bar into it, making the skyscraper disappear. The black hole also vanished. The mysterious man suddenly split out of blood from his mouth from using that ability.

Ross went closer to the man and said, "Do you need help?"

"I am fine. Thank you for asking."

Up close, the man looked wounded everywhere, with dozens of scars on his face and body, and they were newly formed cuts.

The man stands up from the ground and says, "I am here for my friend, Eduard, to bury him."

To Be Continued.
