Chapter 6

A thousand meters above the ground, A golden-eyed, black haired male boycan be seen riding a huge griffin at a high speed. This boy is Alexander Strife, A prince in the Fior Kingdom. Its been a week since he left his home. Currently He was on his way towards a dragon's lair when suddenly a monotone voice spoke in his mind. It was his spirit Vaam.

"Master, towards our direction I can sense some a number of people, I can feel a hint of bloodlust coming from them"Vaam spoke in his mind

'Is there a battle currently ongoing in there? Let me take a look'  He said to himself. He is also interested on what's happening in there. A few kilometers from there,  A group of 5 people was currently being surrounded by a group of people. Judging by the number of people surrounding them, they are in a great disadvantage.

"Why won't you just surrender that treasure if you still value your life."one of the 

"Fuck off! We the [Silver swords] were the ones who found it after risking our lives, how can we easily give it to a bunch of bandits" an injured male swordsman shouted judging.

"Everyone take the treasure and run away, I'll fend them off. Gran, bart I'll leave them to both of you." The male swordsman shouted to his companions.

"JED!NO! HOW CAN WE LEAVE YOU HERE! One of his companions, a female wearing a light blue robe shouted to the male swordsman named Jed.

"DON'T BE AN IDIOT! HOW CAN I LET YOU ALL DIE HERE, ESPECIALLY YOU LARA" said Jed. To him even if he died as long as his friends escape, he was ready to die for them. The female, wearing a light blue robe, named Lara seeing the look in Jed's eyes hesitated if she should follow his words.

"Jed! I, Bart Farah, shall stand with you fending these scums, It was great to have met a friend like you" A man wearing heavy armor suddenly went beside Jed, Bart was heavily injured but in his eyes courage can be found. This man was Jed bestfriend. They both grew up together they were like brothers.

"Bart, It was an honor to have a friend like you" Jed said to Bart. Jed felt warmth in his chest. He was thankful to have a bestfriend whom was willing to die with him. Now his only wish was to let his love one, Lara, to escape alive.

"You think all of you can escape? Buhaha! All of you are surrounded! You no chance to escape" one of the bandits shouted. By his looks He was their leader, by looking at his face their face, there was a hint greedy on his face. "All of you, KILL THEM!" he commanded to his underlings.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

But suddenly, shouts rang out from the forest, these shouts were full of despair. All of them were startled especially the bandits because some of their companions were hiding in the forest to prevent any one from escaping. But a they heard the shouts coming from the forest they grew worried and frantic for those voices were familiar to them, those wore the voices of their companions.

A few minutes later, the shoutings stopped. Silence came...none of them made a sound for they were still worried and fear appeared on their chest. Then a shrill cry broke the silence, they search the source of the sound but what they saw was a huge griffin in the sky, this caused all of them especially the bandits to feel fear in their hearts. To them a griffin was a peak stage B rank beast and none of them have the capability to kill nor subdue one. But with all of them attacking they are confident they could kill it.

The griffin landed on between the two groups and what came next was a boy with black hair and golden eyes but these eyes were dark and cold which will made you feel fear just by looking at it.

The bandit leader called to Xander

"Oi! Brat! What did you do with my companions?" the bandit leader said with a frantic voice. He was worried about what happen to his companions. He hd suspicions that they were killed but what happen next made his suspicions true.

"Ahhh! Those guys I killed them but don't worry you'll follow them next." Xander said. The bandits felt their heart shiver when they heard that voice and saw his golden eyes which were full of coldness. It's like they weren't coming from a young boy

"I'll KILL YOU!!" the bandit leader became furious hearing those words. Even though they killed numerous people they value their comrades." Everyone kill him!" all of them were furious about what happened to their companions. They also want to kill the boy in front of them. All of them charged almost at the same time.

"Be careful! We'll help you" Jed said. He was also startled about what the boy had said, he can't believe that this young boy could actually kill the bandits easily. He knew that judging about how those shouts were made, they saw something terrifying.

"No need! Just sit there and protect your friends. These scums can't kill me" Xander said to Him. Jed felt his heart shiver just from listening to the voice. But then he saw a black smoke emerging on the boy's feet and from that a black appeared on his shoulder but it suddenly transformed into a black sword devoid of anything then a blur  appeared and the boy was gone. He turned to look at the bandits one after one the bandits fell, some of them were killed by decapitation and some had their hearts pierced

Xander summoned Vaam and made it transformed into Midnight, then sprang out. But due to his fast speed all them can see is just a blur. The bandits and the [Silver swords] felt fear in their hearts and what made them feel this is a young boy. To them this was not a battle but a slaughter, and they saw this merciless young boy.One by one the bandits fell until only the bandit leader remained.

"Please!Don't kill me! I'll do anything! Just spare me!" the bandit leader kneeled begging Xander. He knew that he was no match to this young boy in front of him. He only felt despair and was desperate to live.

"Hahhahha! SPARE YOU?! Why would I spare you? Did you spare those people you killed those who had a family waiting? Then should I spare you?" Xander replied in a voice full of coldness. Then he knew he will not be spared.

"You! What are you! De-"then his head separated from his body. His head fell from the ground. The people who remained seeing could help but to feel fear from this child. But they knew he did that to save them. So they should be thanking him instead.

"I am Jed Filia, Thank you for saving us! This is my friends our tanker Bart, our Healer Lara, our scout Lucy and Alice. We are adventurers" Xander eyes lit up when he heard the term 'adventurers'. He also wanted to become an adventurer. 

" My name is Alexander. But you can call me Xander. This is my spirit Vaam" he introduced himself and the crow on his shoulder. 

"Are you heading to Grayridge city? If possible we want to pay you to thank you for saving us" Jed spoke out.

"Yes! I was planning to resupply in there. No need to pay me, I only did the natural thing to do." Said Xander while laughing. Before the battle he commanded to Vaam to kill those hiding in the forest. It was his first time killing someone but he knew that in this world that the strong prey on the weak so he decided to be merciless when killing his enemies. At first he felt bad but it as time passes he felt better. 

"Why do they want to kill you?" Xander decides to ask why they were in danger.

"I think you can be trusted and you have no need for money, It was because of this" Jed pulled a bag.

I'm sorry I was busy yesterday. To make it up ,tommorrow I will post 3-4 chapters.
