THE WORLD CHRONICLES: God Among Gods
Prologue: The Beginning was a mistake

Prologue: The Beginning was a mistake

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

But you already know this, so let's head further a little bit, on the eighth and final day... The day that started this whole chain of events...

God looked upon his creation but thought something was still missing. He said to himself, "Mankind would rule over the earth, but who will rule over man? Just because I made the world doesn't mean I have to govern it... right?" God contemplated for a moment ignoring his own totally flawed logic, until an idea struck his mind; An idea that will drastically change the course of the world he had created, and there would be no going back...

The Celestial Realm

Monday 7:00am

It was another beautiful morning in the Empyrean or more commonly known as the Celestial Realm.

A breathtaking paradise above the clouds; filled with prosperous kingdoms, and decorated with nature as far as the eye can see; where gods and other mystical beings live in peace. It is a wondrous world where the supernatural is normal.

And as the sun rises on this magical land, everyone is getting ready to perform their daily routines. Tenants are opening their shops, dragons are getting ready to make their regualr deliveries; dwarves are singing happily while marching on the way to their favorite treasure mines, and the fairies are going about their early morning forest and animal check-ups.

However, it's about time for the gods, the rulers of the Empyrean, to make their daily rounds as well. "Woah! get out of the way!" a young boy screamed as he was fast-flying uncontrollably, nearly crashing into a group of weather fairies that were tending to the clouds; luckily, they all managed to get away in time, narowlly avoiding him unscathed; though, they couldn't say the same for the clouds as the boy barreled right through them, the big clouds scattering into many small puffs of cumulus in the sky.

"Zzzzzzzz" in a huge luxurious suit-like bedroom, a giant humanoid panda was sleeping peacefully on his equally giant king sized bed; letting out low snores as the sunlight slowly seeps through his bedroom window. He scrunches up his eyes and nose as the light shines on his face as if the sun itself was purposely trying to wake him from his slumber.
