A young warrior recieves a request from a village to destroy the remnants of a tribe of ogre-kin. When she arrives at the forest she smells blood coming from deeper in. Unperturbed, she strides forth sword ready.
When she arrives she finds a small boy sleeping like a king on a mountain of corpses. She saw that he was missing an arm and bleeding out so she moved to cauterize the wound. She then took him back to the village with her.

I awoke too early in the morning on a bed that was much too soft for me.
"You're up early. Why don't you go back to bed?" The voice was female almost motherly and it made my skin crawl.
"I'm leaving. Where's my stuff?" I said harshly.
She started to panic which only made me loathe her more.
"You're still wounded you need rest-"
"I will decide what I need and don't need."
"Now you listen here young man-"
"Take that tone with me again and I will hurt you just enough so that you'll still be alive but never able to recover."
"I'll be leaving now."
"You best." she said while slamming the door on the way out.
"I detest women." I said as I moved out of the bed.

"Time for a diagnostic check." I thought to myself as I became aware of my surroundings.

Meanwile in another room.
"So he said that huh." said the warrior.
"I can't believe him. What's wrong with him Alice?" Said the motherly woman.
"You're the one who's unbelievable." Alice, while taking a drink to gauged her expression. Elaboration was needed.
"I told you Ellen, he lost his arm just yesterday and was probably living as a slave to ogre-kin his whole life. Pitying is just gonna piss him off."
"But, how does that work."
"Just trust me. You don't want to make him angry." She left it there as if that was final word.
"Here he comes. Make sure to apologize to him." Ellen was about to protest but a reproachful gaze told her not to do that.
What kind of man could kill them bare handed? And a child at that. With these thoughts a boy entered the room. He was short and barrel chested with blonde hair that covered most of face. He was missing part of his left arm which should keep him in agony but he acted like didn't notice. He wore his childlike face like a mask which turned what should be cute into something truly ugly.
"I'd like to apologize for going overboard in my highhanded threats toward your friend miss Alice."
