This is a guide and documentary on various communities and fan bases, including things such as general information and history.

My first project will be attempting to give an in depth explanation of Royal Road as a whole.

How is this different from websites like wikipedia? Royal Road isn't on Wikipedia. That's how.

Don’t worry. I’m well aware I don’t know jack about any of the stuff I would be listing. I’ll be taking a look at tons of guides and asking questions. I’ll include anything I find. Then I’m compiling it.

I'm not only writing about Royal Road, obviously. This will be a great variety of different guides and documentaries about a lot of things.

Why do I think I’m qualified to do this? I don’t. I’m going to straight up say this. I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about, but that’s why I’m learning it. What I’m going to put here is anything I'm qualified to put here myself. If I’m not, I’ll ask someone who is. Then I'll include that. Obviously, I'll be giving credit where it's due.

My goal is to combine and include every one of these explanations and information pretty much side by side. Do you not know the rules, or what is generally frowned upon in any given community? I’ll try to explain. I mean, from someone who doesn’t even know the difference between scout or spy, or even what that means, I’ll include explanations of what’s what for every single community I can. Hell, knitting probably has a ton of critics. The do's and don'ts of anything.

You can’t just do what you want? Wrong. But it is often frowned upon, and will generally make you an outcast. Do you want to join a community, but not be an outcast? Sure. I’ll help. Or at least I'll try.

I’m posting this one on RR, and RR has an entire community with general and individual preferences, so I’ll explain what is what, if you don’t know. If you want a general ‘how to’ outline, I’ll do my best. If you don’t mind spending a little time reading up on stuff, I’ll include detailed explanations or information. I’ll do my best.

If you want an explanation on something, pm me, and I’ll try my best to write a detailed and general outline respectively for the topic, and add it here. This will not be immediate. And, as the username suggests, I’m hoping the community will find things I can’t. Mistakes will be moved to another part, and the corrected parts will be kept until yet again proven wrong. 

Nothing is absolute, so this is what I find, not what I think. So this is one of the few times I think you should truly listen to my words. My advice is to never take anything here as absolute fact. I include opinions and advice here, not always my own and some sections are literally explanations on general community consensus, but it is still advice. General or not.

Also, in the case of a situation claiming multiple things as fact, I list both. I explain both. You take what you will from what you read. I take no responsibility for horrendous life mistakes made because of myself. As such, before doing anything, if there are comments, read them. They may contain even more opinions, facts, suggestions, and more that are not included here. The comment section is pretty much made to be a ‘roast the idiot for being wrong’ kind of thing, so check dates on those. Also, just use common sense.

Ironically, this entire thing is meant to kind of give you insight into what is usually common sense for most communities in addition to documenting it. So if your common sense trumps mine, scream at me in the comments. I’m assuming it usually will. If I figure out how, I’ll find a way to even add images, and I’ll obviously link websites.

If this flops, it flops. I can’t do everything, and I’m not expecting many(if any) people to read or request, but if you want to know something and can’t find jack, I’ll try to help. If I can’t, I’ll outright say that. Hell, even playground rumors have a story, right? That's probably hard to find, but not impossible. Some died, and were simply lost to time, however. I can't do anything about that.
