Chapter 1: Yellow Tinted

Chapter 1

Licht. The season of beginnings. The season which starts the cycle of life anew. Blooming flowers, birds arriving from their long migration and small animals waking up, frolicking around looking for food right after a rainy night.

“Shit I’m lost.”

Sighed a young man while in the middle of a lone street with a huge bag next to him. He was tasked to arrive by himself from the station to his new place of residence, yet he successfully failed to do so.

“I am sure the school was right going north from the station… Where did I go wrong?”

The youngster passed his hand through his hair as a sign of frustration.

*da-dan*

While pondering what to do next, the sound of a bell chimed through the pocket of his trousers.

“Who is it at this time… Geh!”

From his pocket he took out a slim, metallic tablet- a communication device. It had a glass panel on what could be considered its front side and it showed mono-coloured glyphs indicating a message had just arrived. It read:

“Have you arrived at the dorms yet?”

“Gnugnugnu… Does he know? Nah, I’m sure he knows. My uncle always knows what’s going on..”

Said the young man while making weird noises with his mouth. With a reluctant expression he replied to his Uncle’s message.

Not yet. I am lost. Do you think you could help me get there?

He knew it was an important day, so he left his pride behind and asked for help from his uncle. The communication device sent the message instantly, as not long after he received a short reply from his uncle.

“Luna should be on her way to you.”

As if his uncle knew exactly where he was, the message expressed someone coming to his aid.

“Goddamnit. I’ll never understand how he does it.”

Muttered the young man in defeat. He saved the device in his pocket once again and picked up his belongings. He started to look around to find a place where to rest and wait for the person who would direct him to his destination.

Right at that moment, a door opened from a shop in the street. At the time of the day it was, the stores and shops had just opened and had no customers yet, so it was a surprise seeing someone pop up from one.

The shop was in fact a drinks place and out of it a well built girl came out, with a sandwich and a drink at hand. Around the same age as the young man, yet doubled his size in every aspect.

The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

This girl had well built muscles and was at least double the height of the young man. Her skin was spotless white and she wore a very unpretentious yet clean and refined style of clothes. Short, tight beige shorts and a white, plain shirt with a soft pink coloured cardigan on top. These clothes though, couldn’t possibly hide the amount of muscles under them.

Opposite to her, the young man was very thin and wore all black. Black tight trousers, black boots, black loose shirt, black leather jacket. ALL black.

“Oh there you are Rain”

Said the girl with a very sweet and cheerful voice, unlike her muscled appearance would make you assume.

“Luna!?!”

Both surprised by the sudden appearance of the other, smiled awkwardly and moved closer to the other.

“How are you doing? It's been a while.” - Said Luna while sipping on her paper cup.

“It has. Did you put on more mass?” Asked the youngster named Rain.

“I did! Dad said that I need to calm down but I think it’s just me going through a growth spur!” Exclaimed Luna while smiling and flexing one of her arms to show the huge bicep under her clothes.

“But what about you and that hair? Wasn’t it black last time?” Pondered Luna.

“Mom made me dye it back. She said it had to match with the colour stated in the documents she submitted to the school. If anything I should be able to dye it again once the season changes.” Replied Rain while touching his silky aqua coloured hair, neatly trimmed in a bob style.

“At least you don’t get lectured for hours by doing it. I tried to do it once and Dad caught me right while dyeing it. It was awful…” Added Luna. While her hair was waist long and cloud white, the tips had a slight faded soft pink colour.

“-Anyway, Dad told me to come through here so I could help you out get to the dorms; I think we should get going”

While sipping on her drink, Luna suggested they should start moving to their destination.

“Right. It’s going to get late at this rate. Let's get going. Tell me, did you already sign in?”

“No. I live really close and since Dad is now an instructor at School I’ll be staying at home.”

“Is that so?”

The two of them started walking towards the dormitories Rain was going to-

In the opposite direction he had come by earlier.

“I AM TELLING YOU! I LOST ALL MY LUGGAGE INCLUDING MY IDENTIFICATION CARD!! PLEASE LET ME IN! LET ME IIIIIN!!!!”

Yelled a youngster to a neatly dressed officer lady. The two were in front of a massive blackmetal bar gate.

“I am sorry but if you don’t have the identification I can’t let you in just like that! Also look at you! Not only are you dressed as a clown but are covered in mud and filth!”

Said the lady officer as she looked at the young man from head to toe.

The olive skinned young man was indeed covered in mud from head to toe. Even his ashen hair had brown patches in it. He wore excessively large pointed shoes, loose brown (previously white) pants and a button up, baggy shirt with black and white chequered pattern as well as yellow, now broken, tinted glasses.

“THIS IS NOT A CLOWN OUTFIT! IT’S JUST MY CLOTHES!!! AND I HAD AN ACCIDENT WHEN COMING HERE!! I JUST EXPLAINED IT TO YOU!!”

Exclaimed the lad.

The officer lady, conflicted, decided to believe in the kid in front of her and avoid a scandal first thing in the morning.

“Excuse me, but what is going on Ms. Reinbach?”

Coming out from the other side of the blackmetal bar gate, a middle aged, muscled man in very casual clothing and yellow tinted eyes asked the officer Lady.

The man’s physique was impeccable. His arms thick as trees and legs even thicker. His clothes were baggy, yet you could see the rippling muscles through his chest, arms and thighs.

His skin and hair were white in colour and he carried himself with a huge smile.

“Mr. Alva!” Exclaimed the lady.

“Good morning Miss Reinbach. May I know what is going on here?” Repeated himself the man, Mr Alva.

“Y-Yes! The young man here insists he is a lad to be assigned a room within the facilities yet he has no luggage, no identification and his appearance as you can see.”

Implying the suspicious way the young man looked and the reason she refused to allow him entry to the premises.

“Is his name on the list by any chance?” Asked Mr. Alva

“Yes, it shows up, but anyone could’ve made up a name, or even worse…”

Intentionally using a real name to go through the gate

Hinted Ms. Reinbach with her words and a look to Mr. Alva.

“If I may?” Extended his hand Mr. Alva towards the officer lady.

“Yes!”

She took out her communication device and she manipulated it for a moment, then showed a list to him through it.

“Lad, can I have your name?”

The youngster, patiently waiting for Ms. Reinbach to explain everything to Mr. Alva who seemed as someone to have more influence than her in his eyes, replied to him-

“Lainus. Lainus Leto.”

“It indeed is here… Give me a second.”

Mr. Alva lifted up his glasses for a moment, and his rose coloured eyes changed to hazel yellow… Then his expression changed from a calm smile to a wide one, full of excitement.

“Alright, he is clear. Lad, come with me.”
