I'll try and be a brief as possible with this.
The Good News
Editing is 1/3 of the way done, almost every edit I've made has rewritten a lot of what made Sera, Iva and the book what it was. It's going well as I continue to edit as I'm also actively writing, which means the quality content is rising as well.
The Bad News
First off, I'm not dropping the story.
Enjoying this book? Seek out the original to ensure the author gets credit.
Just letting everyone know I've enjoyed writing and have plans of The Waterborne.
However, as I've been meticulously editing and learning better ways to write I've noticed a pattern in my writing, specifically that I need to spend more time with making smaller scenarios directed at specific areas. (Eg. Sera working with the Prince, with the dialogue controlling the story.)
So the announcement is a simple Hiatus for 2 months.
Which means the story will resume in October rather than, today. By October The Waterborne should be properly edited along with Blasphemous Vein making its way to a completed rewrite (which will likely be uploaded as well after I'm satisfied with it.) and I would've had over 400 hours of practice.
(The other story being developed is gaining traction as well, it's still in the planning stages, however the protagonist is almost guaranteed at this point.)
