Confusion and a Idea! V2.0

--Somewhere in a forest--

Currently, Me, the most powerful being on this planet even to the considered 'All Mighty' Gods is staring at a detailed map of the planet i reside on, Obalon being the name for those who were wondering. Yeah i know your reading my life story. Though now comes the question of how my amazing self is confused? Well my boredom has reach all new heights recently, i had literally explored every nook and cranny of this giant rock floating in the universe. I even ventured out and discovered new habitable planets for my kingdom to live on, opening magical gates to transport people between them. But who cares about that right? My gaze was pretty close to burning two eye shaped holes in to the paper laying before me. I did burn that guy with my gaze once..oh never mind that! I might tell you that later..he he.

[Switching POV style]

"Alright so over here i think i explored about 3,000 years ago while over there was about a week..." A loud groan of complaint escaped a older man who appeared to be in his mid 30s, gray colored streaks running through the once dark red hair.  With a handsome angled face that held the shadow of a beard, orange eyes that held a unmatched intelligence, and a multi-colored robe that almost seem to perfectly fit his body besides the small tatters on the bottom from wear and tear he only had the simple word of Handsome to describe him. The opposite sex had more then once tried to get in the poor fellows robes. The map before him was almost three feet long, multiple notes adorning certain special area's on it, faded ink and crinkled side gave the paper a ancient feeling.

"Oh i am getting to old for this.." With a mumbled sigh of displeasure he stood up from his chair/stump, patting off any dirt that might have collected on his robe before stretching out with his arms, a familiar popping of ones joint came from his body. Standing at a impressive height of almost six foot five he towered over most humans. Besides the Giants living up in the moments he thought himself decently tall. Reaching down and silently rolling up the ancient map he stuffed in to a portal he opened up on his right, a pocket dimension for storing things of course! Who would not go traveling without one? "Time to go!" Rubbing his hands together he moved, jumping off with his legs towards the north though leaving a large crater in the forest behind him as the physical strength behind his jump caused some ancient tree's to uproot themselves while other broke in half. This of course stirred the ecosystem but the gentleman of course did not care to much as he 'flew' through the air.

With his short travel from one location to another his mind began pondering over the new found boredom he had acquired, though what he thought he was sadly speaking out loud about. But who would honestly hear it? "Hmm..i can not really explore this world anymore i wonder what would happen if...i went back in time!" His mind quickly rejected the idea since Time travel was messy business and he wanted nothing to do with it. "Fine, travel to another?" Was it bad the fellow was talking to himself? I read plenty of stories that had one's with heroes and such. But that would be boring.." Grumbling quietly once more as his body traveled through the air at break neck speeds. "Dragons..i remember those pesky fuckers, i hope the world i go in to does not have those. Hate to make the extinct again.." Chuckling at the memory at least his legs landed on a giant white platform that was sticking out of a marble colored castle.

The stone beneath his feet shuddered and cracked beneath his feet. Though the loud screaming of maids and Guards freaking out brought a giant grin to the older man's lips as the castle shook from his landing. "Oh i can never get over that ha ha!" With a hearty laugh his orange eyes glued on to the armored elf walking towards him, his slender body and ears giving it all away. "Sir Anauel welcome back." With a smile that could kill women's hearts and one that had more then once calmed angry generals down he greeted his old friend. "Nix! Ol buddy!" Walking over to the elf Anauel gave the poor man in plate armor a giant bear hug, picking him up off the ground, hugging him like a long lost brother or like a viking greeting a old time friend. "Screw the handshake this is always better!" Releasing the Elf from his imprisonment of his chest Anauel grinned while Nix merely shook his head and chuckled, this is how it always was. Being the third oldest being on the Planet Nix was of course one of Anauel's best friends as they met at the young age of 15, fighting each other to be exact! Yet another story to be told later. "Since you are here my friend this means you knew the magical ingredients are ready?" Nix never quite knew how Anauel knew things before someone told him and it had more then once creeped the poor elf out. "They are in your lab by the way..."

"Aye, in my lab i know. I think i am going to make a portal!" Sadly Anauel did not quite lower his voice as a now stunned Nix was looking at him and multiple guards around the platform showing uncomfortable movment. "But Lor-" With a quick hand gesture Anauel cut his best friend off. "Please don't use that title, it makes me think of bad things.." His voice could not hold the amount of dislike he had for it since he himself ran a kingdom. One named the Crimson Dawn Empire. Dating back to the almost beginning of the first large war that lasted hundred of years the Empire adopted a Phoenix as its symbol since more then once was there capital destroyed, only to come back even stronger. The colors of the Crimson Dawn were the same as the robe Anauel wore, many shades of Red, Orange, Black, and Gray. "Oh by the way, have one of your messenger's send this to my heir." Pulling a large envelope from his pocket dimension he hand it over to Nix, his once large smile adopted a saddened state. Memories of his younger days flashing through his mind, happy ones at that until the darkness creeped up on him and the pain came through. Memories of his wife dead in a pool of blood on there bed with a silver dagger coming out of her pregnant belly while his youngest son's throat was slit in the crib not even ten feet away from the bed. Rage, Sadness, Lonely. Those were the few words that could just barely describe his broken mental state as after that he cried, his mind not being able to coup with the loss of his loved ones and shattering in to four different fragments. "Anauel..Anaeul!" Nix placed his hand on his friends shoulder and shook him, breaking the daze that trapped him. "Oh..ha ha..sorry dear pal thank you.."

With a soft sigh Nix held the letter given to him in one hand while the other rubbed the bridged of his nose. His body still shaking a bit from the amount of aura Anuel had given off during his small..incident. "May the light of Aryna bless you." With the air around the platform side of the castle slowly returning to it normal state after his friend brought the temperature down to almost freezing levels he quickly regained his composure. "The top floor of the castle is available to you now, the maids just finished cleaning it."  With a genuine smile on the elf's face he patted his friend on the shoulder a final time before walking away.

--Top floor of a castle, Elven Capital--

Leaning over the railing with his chin resting up on to his propped up hand, Anueal looked over the beautiful Elven citing before him, his orange eyes soaking in the grand view for a few minutes. It was after all the most gorgeous city on the planet. Taking more then a few people's breath away when they see it for the first time but after awhile the effects lessen. "Wonder how this new world is going to be..." Letting out a sigh he pushed himself away from the stone railing and walked back in to his laboratory. The room was unorganized to hell and back with books laying across the room as well as some even on the ceiling. Anauel looked at the readers then. "Don't ask.." With only a single pathway in the room to get to a bed, a desk, and the door itself, people with OCD would have a meltdown. Though in Anauel's eyes he found it in perfect order, everything where he needed it to be. Coming prepared was the first thing for a adventure and like such Anauel was garbed in common clothes at least for his people. With brown leather pants and boots and a gray shirt it seemed simple enough, right? That is until one looked down at the magic surrounding him as his clothes radiated like a beacon, sticking out like a sore thumb was a understatement for him. Simple it was in appearance did not mean the wards and magical enhancements on the gear he had could not kill. With enough wards on it to act like a main battle tank from a modern world he once visited Anauel's strength only increased! but just by a tiny bit.

On his back was a medium size bag, holding a couple days worth of rations that he honestly did not need but for appearance sake took as most of everything he really need was stuffed in to his Dimensional pocket. Hooked on to his belt was a standard sword, basic metal with simple enchantments for durability as he could conjure weapons better then this one. Along with a blade a weird black cloth was wrapped around his belt, the few enchantments on it allowed it to expand or shrink. Allowing to to have a infinite amount of fabric to worth with, ain't it great! "Now..to find a world.." Walking over to the middle of his lab where he cleaned it a hour ago was a large magical formation, practically humming with mana. With a final step he stood directly in the center of the runic formation as multiple screens shot up to lifelessly float in the air around him. Reaching out to grab one he brought it closer. "So..Demon king, needs heroes to fight it? Nope~! to lame." Tossing it away until it disappeared he soon grabbed another "Reincarnation? Umm...no, i rather like my powers and not work my way up again. Who wants to live 40,000 years again?!" Scoffing he tossed another away. "Gods, large mythical beings? Well i do love a challenge but if someone as powerful as the creator was there...yeah...no.." Cringing at the thought of fighting a enemy that powerful he shook his head. "Nope~"

Hours passed as Anauel looked over multiple words before him, so many places with different cultural and fighting styles it was quite unique. Especially one he found that had Chi or Internal energy as some would call it. "Definitely makes some powerful warriors but the arrogance is annoying, rather not destroy large sects. Though the Monster world seemed interesting, all the races coming together to fight off the threat of extinction." So many choices but he could only have 1, for now. Maybe after he finished with one he would go to another? Grabbing the final panel after going through thousands his orange eyes peered at it. "Beings coming from another universe to invade, sounds like me but less..'I shall kill you!' and more 'Hey i just came to explore'." Nodding his head his he had finally made his choice but what it was, he did not tell the readers. Grabbing the picture he tossed it before him as it slowly expanded in hole that he could perfectly fit through. With a final look over his shoulder's at the grand city and the thoughts of leaving his few remaining friends behind he truly struggled, but only for a minute as he stepped through and in to the blackness.

--Between the Worlds--

Inky blackness, best way to describe where Anauel was. At least until he looked out and he was more or less in a tunnel with a light at the end. "How cliche is this.." Scratching his head he began walking towards the light, though how long it took him? He himself did not know as there was no way to measure how far away something was and without a sun to point out the time it seemed..endless. After for what felt like forever he reached the light and stepped through before a flash of light blinded him. "Fuck! Shit! GAH! Why always the light why?!!" After dozens of more curses and complaints his eyes finally adjusted to the sight before him a grass like planed expanding endlessly around him. "Huh..guess this is my home now.." Smiling briefly Anauel would wait until the time he had gathered enough power to kill the ones who had killed his family but, how powerful must one be to go against Anauel himself..?
